Abstract |
The hidden-charm pentaquark P-c(4450) observed recently by the LHCb collaboration may be of molecular nature, as advocated by some unitary approaches that also predict pentaquark partners in the strangeness S = -1 sector. In this work we argue that a hidden-charm strange pentaquark could be seen from the decay of the Lambda b, just as in the case of the non-strange P-c(4450), but looking into the J/psi eta Lambda decay mode and forming the invariant mass spectrum of J/psi Lambda pairs. In the model presented here, which assumes a standard weak decay topology and incorporates the hadronization process and final-state interaction effects, we find the J/psi eta Lambda final states to be populated with similar strength as the J/psi K- p states employed for the observation of the non-strange pentaquark. This makes the Lambda b -> J/psi eta Lambda decay to be an interesting process to observe a possible strange partner of the P-c(4450). We study the dependence of the J/psi Lambda mass spectra on various model ingredients and on the unknown properties of the strange pentaquark. |

Abstract |
We study the chi(c1) -> eta pi(+)pi(-) decay, paying attention to the production of f(0)(500), f(0)(980), and a(0)(980) from the final state interaction of pairs of mesons that can lead to these three mesons in the final state, which is implemented using the chiral unitary approach. Very clean and strong signals are obtained for the a(0)(980) excitation in the eta pi invariant mass distribution and for the f(0)(500) in the pi(+)pi(-) mass distribution. A smaller, but also clear signal for the f(0)(980) excitation is obtained. The results are contrasted with experimental data and the agreement found is good, providing yet one more test in support of the picture where these resonances are dynamically generated from the meson-meson interaction. |

Abstract |
In a previous work we presented a theoretical analysis of the Lambda(b) -> J/psi K- p reaction based on which a recent experiment by the LHCb collaboration at CERN claimed the existence of two hidden charm pentaquarks, P-c(4380)(+) and P-c(4450)(+). In that work we focused only on the Lambda(1405) and P-c(4450)(+) signals and discussed the possible explanation of this pentaquark state within the picture of a dynamical meson-baryon molecule made up mostly from (D) over bar*Sigma(c) and (D) over bar*Sigma(c)* components. In the present work we improve upon the previous one by considering the total K- p and J/psi p data including all the relevant resonances contributing to the spectra, and discuss the possible nature of both P-c(4380)(+) and P-c(4450)(+). We also discuss several important topics, like the effect of the contact term in the reaction, the viability of reproducing the data without the P-c(4380)(+) and the possible quantum number assignment to these pentaquarks. |

Abstract |
In this paper we examine the interaction of DN and D* N states, together with their coupled channels, by using an extension of the local hidden gauge formalism from the light meson sector, which is based on heavy quark spin symmetry. The scheme is based on the use of the impulse approximation at the quark level, with the heavy quarks acting as spectators, which occurs for the dominant terms where there is the exchange of a light meson. The pion exchange and the Weinberg-Tomozawa interactions are generalized and with this dynamics we look for states generated from the interaction, with a unitary coupled channels approach that mixes the pseudoscalar-baryon and vector-baryon states. We find two states with nearly zero width, which are associated to the I > (c) (2595) and I > (c) (2625). The lower state, with J (P) = 1/2(-), couples to DN and D* N, and the second one, with J (P) = 3/2(-), to D* N. In addition to these two I > (c) states, we find four more states with I = 0, one of them nearly degenerate in two states of J (P) = 1/2, 3/2. Furthermore we find three states in I = 1, two of them degenerate in J = 1/2, 3/2. |

Abstract |
We study the meson-baryon interaction with J(P) = 1/2 using the hidden-gauge Lagrangians and mixing pseudoscalar meson-baryon with the vector meson-baryon states in a coupled channels scheme with pi N, eta N, K Lambda, K Sigma, rho N, and pi Delta (d wave). We fit the subtraction constants of each channel to the S-11 partial wave amplitude of the pi N scattering data extracted from the partial wave analysis of the George Washington group. We find two poles that we associate to the N*(1535) and the N*(1650) resonances, with negative subtraction constants of natural size, and compare the results with empirical determinations of these pole positions. We calculate the branching ratios for the different channels of each resonance and we find a good agreement with the experimental data. The cross section for the pi(-)p -> eta n scattering is also evaluated and compared with experiment. |

Abstract |
The D-0 decay into K-s(0) and a scalar resonance, f(0)(500), f(0)(980), a(0)(980), are studied obtaining the scalar resonances from final state interaction of a pair of mesons produced in a first step in the D-0 decay into K-s(0) and the pair of pseudoscalar mesons. This weak decay is very appropriate for this kind of study because it allows to produce the three resonances in the same decay in a process that is Cabibbo-allowed, hence the rates obtained are large compared to those of (B) over bar (0) decays into J/psi and a scalar meson that have at least one Cabibbo-suppressedvertex. Concretely the a(0)(980) production is Cabibbo-allowedhere, while it cannot be seen in the (B) over bar (0)(s) decay into J/psi a(0)(980) and is doubly Cabibbo-suppressedin the (B) over bar (0) decay into J/psi a(0)(980) and has not been identified there. The fact that the three resonances can be seen in the same reaction, because there is no isospin conservation in the weak decays, offers a unique opportunity to test the ideas of the chiral unitary approach where these resonances are produced from the interaction of pairs of pseudoscalar mesons. |

Abstract |
We use the local hidden gauge approach in order to study the B (B) over bar* and B*(B) over bar* interactions for isospin I = 1. We show that both interactions via one light meson exchange are not allowed by the Okubo-ZweigIizuka rule and, for that reason, we calculate the contributions due to the exchange of two pions, interacting and noninteracting among themselves, and also due to the heavy vector mesons. Then, to compare all these contributions, we use the potential related to the heavy vector exchange as an effective potential corrected by a factor which takes into account the contribution of the other light meson exchanges. In order to look for poles, this effective potential is used as the kernel of the Bethe-Salpeter equation. As a result, for the B (B) over bar* interaction we find a loosely bound state with mass in the range 10587-10601 MeV, very close to the experimental value of the Z(b)(10610) reported by the Belle Collaboration. For the B*(B) over bar* case, we find a cusp at 10650 MeV for all spin J = 0, 1, 2 cases. |

Abstract |
We have studied the strangeness-changing antineutrino-induced reactions (v) over bar (l)p -> l(+)phi B, with phi B = K(-)p, (K) over bar (0)n, pi(0)Lambda, pi(0)Sigma(0), eta Lambda, eta Sigma(0), pi(+)Sigma(-), pi(-)Sigma(+), K+Xi(-), and K-0 Xi(0), using a chiral unitary approach. These ten coupled channels are allowed to interact strongly, using a kernel derived from the chiral Lagrangians. This interaction generates two Lambda(1405) poles, leading to a clear single peak in the pi Sigma invariant mass distributions. At backward scattering angles in the center-of-mass frame, (nu) over bar (mu)p -> mu(+)pi(0)Sigma(0) is dominated by the Lambda(1405) state at around 1420 MeV while the lighter state becomes relevant as the angle decreases, leading to an asymmetric line shape. In addition, there are substantial differences in the shape of pi Sigma invariant mass distributions for the three charge channels. If observed, these differences would provide valuable information on a claimed isospin I = 1, strangeness S = -1 baryonic state around 1400 MeV. Integrated cross sections have been obtained for the pi Sigma and (K) over barN channels and the impact of unitarization in the results has been investigated. The number of events with Lambda(1405) excitation in (nu) over bar μp collisions in the recent antineutrino run at the Main Injector Experiment for nu-A (MINER nu A) has also been obtained. We find that this reaction channel is relevant enough to be investigated experimentally and to be taken into account in the simulation models of future experiments with antineutrino beams. |

Abstract |
We evaluate the decay width for the processes f1(1285). p 0 a0(980) and f1(1285). p 0 f0(980) taking into account that all three resonances are dynamically generated from the meson- meson interaction, the f1(1285) from K* K – c. c. and the a0(980), f0(980) from p., K K and pp, K _ K, respectively. We use a triangular mechanism similar to that of.(1405). pp., which provides a decay width for f1(1285). p 0 a0(980) with a branching fraction of the order of 30%, in agreement with experiment. At the same time we evaluate the decay width for the isospin- forbidden f1(1285). p 0 f0(980), which appears when we consider different masses for the charged and neutral kaons, and show that it is much more suppressed than in the.(1405). pp. case, but gives rise to a narrow shape of the p + p- distribution similar to the one found in the eta(1405) -> pi pi eta decay. |

Abstract |
Based on previous studies that support the important role of the f(2)(1270), f'(2)(1525), and (K) over bar (2)*(1430) resonances in the J/psi[psi(2S)] -> phi(omega)VV decays, we make an analysis of the analogous decays of Upsilon(1S) and Upsilon(2S), taking into account recent experimental data. In addition, we study the J/psi and psi(2S) radiative decays and we also made predictions for the radiative decay of Upsilon(1S) and Upsilon(2S) into gamma f(2)(1270), gamma f(2)'(1525), gamma f(0)(1370) and gamma f(0)(1710) comparing with the recent results of a CLEO experiment. We can compare our results for ratios of decay rates with eight experimental ratios and find agreement in all but one case, where experimental problems are discussed. |
