Abstract |
We present the Fixed Center Approximation (FCA) to the Faddeev equations for the (K) over bar NN system with S = 0, including the charge exchange mechanisms in the (K) over bar rescattering. The system appears bound by about 35 MeV and the width, omitting two body absorption, is about 50 MeV. We also evaluate the (K) over bar absorption width in the bound (K) over bar NN system by employing the FCA to account for (K) over bar rescattering on the NN cluster. The width of the states found previously for S = 0 and S = 1 is found now to increase by about 30 MeV due to the (K) over bar NN absorption, to a total value of about 80 MeV. |

Abstract |
We study the eta'N interaction within a chiral unitary approach which includes pi N, eta N and related pseudoscalar meson-baryon coupled channels. Since the SU(3) singlet does not contribute to the standard interaction and the eta' is mostly a singlet, the resulting scattering amplitude is very small and inconsistent with the experimental scattering length. The additional consideration of vector meson-baryon states into the coupled channel scheme, via normal and anomalous couplings of pseudoscalar to vector mesons, enhances substantially the eta'N amplitude. We also exploit the freedom of adding to the Lagrangian a new term, allowed by the symmetries of QCD, which couples baryons to the singlet meson of SU(3). Adjusting the unknown strength to the eta'N scattering length, we obtain predictions for the elastic eta'N -> eta'N and inelastic eta'N -> eta N, pi N, K Lambda, K Sigma cross sections at low eta' energies, and discuss their significance. |

Abstract |
We show that the tau(-) decay into f(1)(1285) pi(-)nu(tau) is dominated by a triangle loop mechanism with K*, (K) over bar* and K( or (K) over bar) as internal lines, which manifests a strong enhancement reminiscent of a nearby singularity present in the narrow K* limit and the near (K) over bar* K* threshold of the internal K* propagators. The f1(1285) is then produced by its coupling to the K* (K) over bar and (K) over bar* K which is obtained from a previous model where this resonance was dynamically generated as a molecular K* (K) over bar (or (K) over bar* K) state using the techniques of the chiral unitary approach. We make predictions for the f(1)pi mass distribution which significantly deviates from the phase-space shape, due to the distortion caused by the triangle mechanism and the K* (K) over bar threshold. We find a good agreement with the experimental value within uncertainties for the integrated partial decay width, which is a clear indication of the importance of the triangle mechanism in this decay and supports the dynamical origin of the f(1)(1285) as a K* (K) over bar and (K) over bar* K molecular state. |

Abstract |
We have conducted a model independent analysis of the (K+K0) pair correlation function obtained from ultra high energy pp collisions, with the aim of extracting the information encoded in it related to the KK interaction and the coupled channel pi(+)eta. With the present large errors at small relative (K+K0) momenta, we find that the information obtained about the scattering matrix suffers from large uncertainties. Even then, we are able to show that the data imply the existence of the a(0) resonance, a(0)(980), showing as a strong cusp close to the KK threshold. We also mention that the measurement of the pi(+)eta correlation function will be essential in order to constrain more the information on KK dynamics that can be obtained from correlation functions. |

Abstract |
We determine the helicity amplitudes A(1/2) and radiative decay widths in the transition Lambda(1670) -> gamma Y (Y = Lambda or Sigma(0)). The Lambda(1670) is treated as a dynamically generated resonance in meson-baryon chiral dynamics. We obtain the radiative decay widths of the Lambda(1670) to gamma Lambda as 2 +/- 1 keV and to -gamma Sigma(0) as 120 +/- 50 keV. Also, the Q(2)-dependence of the helicity amplitudes A(1/2) is calculated. We find that the K Xi component in the Lambda(1670) structure, mainly responsible for the dynamical generation of this resonance, is also responsible for the significant suppression of the decay ratio Gamma(gamma A)/Gamma(gamma Sigma 0). A measurement of the ratio would, thus, provide direct access to the nature of the Lambda(1670). To compare the result for the Lambda(1670), we calculate the helicity amplitudes Lambda(1/2) for the two states of the Lambda(1405). Also, the analytic continuation of Feynman parameterized integrals of more complicated loop amplitudes to the complex plane is developed which allows for an internally consistent evaluation of A(1/2). |

Abstract |
The BES data on the J/psi -> eta K*(0)(K) over bar*(0) reaction show a clear enhancement in the K*(0)(K) over bar*(0) mass distribution close to the threshold of this channel. Such an enhancement is usually a signature of an L = 0 resonance around threshold, which in this case would correspond to an h1 state with quantum numbers I-G(J(Pc))= 0(-)(1(+-)). A state around 1800 MeV results from the interaction of the K*TC* using the local hidden gauge approach. We show that the peak observed in J/psi -> eta K*(0)(K) over bar*(0) naturally comes from the creation of this h(1) state with mass and width around 1830 MeV and 110 MeV, respectively. A second analysis, model independent, corroborates the first result, confirming the relationship of the enhancement in the invariant mass spectrum with the h(1) resonance. |

Abstract |
We evaluate the polarization observables I-S and I-C for the reaction gamma p -> pi(0)eta p, using a chiral unitary framework developed earlier. The I-S and I-C observables have been recently measured for the first time by the CBELSA/TAPS Collaboration. The theoretical predictions of I-S and I-C, given for altogether 18 angle-dependent functions, are in good agreement with the measurements. Also, the asymmetry d Sigma/dcos theta evaluated here agrees with the data. We show the importance of the Delta(1700) D-33-resonance and its S-wave decay into eta Delta(1232). The result can be considered as a further confirmation of the dynamical nature of this resonance. At the highest energies, deviations of the predictions from the data start to become noticeable, which leaves room for additional processes and resonances such as a Delta(1940) D-33. We also point out how to further improve the calculation. |

Abstract |
We have studied the contribution of the state X(3930), coming from the interaction of the D ($) over bar and D-s(+) D ($) over bar (s) channels, to the B- -> K- J/psi omega decay. The purpose of this work is to offer a complementary tool to see if the X(3930) state observed in the D+ D- channel is the same or not as the X(3960) resonance claimed by the LHCb Collaboration from a peak in the D-s(+) D s mass distribution around threshold. We present results for what we expect in the J/psi omega mass distribution in the B- -> K- J/psi omega decay and conclude that a clear signal should be seen around 3930 MeV. At the same time, finding no extra resonance signal at 3960 MeV would be a clear indication that there is not a new state at 3960 MeV, supporting the hypothesis that the near-threshold peaking structure peak in the D-s(+) D-s(-) mass distribution is only a manifestation of a resonance below threshold. |

Abstract |
In this paper we present an approach to study the radiative decay modes of the J/psi into a photon and one of the tensor mesons f (2)(1270) , f' (2)(1525) , as well as the scalar ones f (0)(1370) and f (0)(1710) . Especially, we compare predictions that emerge from a scheme where the states appear dynamically in the solution of vector meson-vector meson scattering amplitudes to those from a (admittedly naive) quark model. We provide evidence that it might be possible to distinguish amongst the two scenarios, once improved data are available. |

Abstract |
We study the (B) over bar (0)(s) -> D-s(-)(KD)(+) weak decay, and look at the KD invariant mass distribution, for which we use recent lattice QCD results for the KDinteraction from where the D-s0*(2317) resonance appears as a KD bound state. Since there are not yet experimental data on this reaction, in a second step we propose an analysis method to obtain information on the D-s0* (2317) resonance from the future experimental KD mass distribution in this decay. For this purpose, we generate synthetic data taking a few points from our theoretical distribution, to which we add a 5% or 10% error. With this analysis method, we prove that one can obtain from these “data” the existence of a bound KD state, the KD scattering length and effective range, and most importantly, the KD probability in the wave function of the bound state obtained, which was found to be largely dominant in lattice QCD studies. This means that one can obtain information on the nature of the D-s0*(+) (2317) resonance from the implementation of this experiment, in the line of finding the structure of resonances, which is one of the main aims in hadron spectroscopy. |
