Abstract: The decay-time-dependent CP asymmetry in B-0 -> (DD -/+)-D-*+/- decays is mea- sured using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1) recorded by the LHCb detector in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The CP parameters are measured asSD*D=-0.861 +/- 0.077 +/- 0.019,Delta SD*D=0.019 +/- 0.075 +/- 0.012,CD*D=-0.059 +/- 0.092 +/- 0.020,Delta CD*D=-0.031 +/- 0.092 +/- 0.016,AD*D=0.008 +/- 0.014 +/- 0.006. The analysis provides the most precise single measurement of CP violation in this decay channel to date. All parameters are consistent with their current world average values.

Abstract: A time-dependent, flavour-tagged measurement of CP violation is performed with B-0 -> D+D- and B-s(0)-> D+ (s) D- (s)decays, using data collected by the LHCb detector in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb(-1). In B-0 -> D+D- decays the CP-violation parameters are measured to be S-D(+) (-)(D) = -0.552 +/- 0.100 (stat) +/- 0.010 (syst), C-D(+) (-)(D) = 0.128 +/- 0.103 (stat) +/- 0.010 (syst). In B-s(0)-> D+ (s) D- (s) decays the CP-violating parameter formulation in terms of phi(s) and |lambda| results in phi s = -0.086 +/- 0.106 (stat) +/- 0.028 (syst) rad, |lambda (+)(D) (-)(s D) (s) | = 1.145 +/- 0.126 (stat) +/- 0.031 (syst). These results represent the most precise single measurement of the CP-violation parameters in their respective channels. For the first time in a single measurement, CP symmetry is observed to be violated in B-0 -> D+D- decays with a significance exceeding six standard deviations.

Abstract: A measurement of time-dependent CP violation in the decays of B-0 and (B) over bar (0) mesons to the final states J/psi(-> mu(+) mu(-))K-S(0), psi(2S)(-> mu(+) mu(-))K-S(0) and J/psi(-> e(+)e(-))K-S(0) with K-S(0) -> pi(+)pi(-) is presented. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb(-1) collected at a center-of-mass energy of root s = 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. The CP-violation parameters are measured to be S-psi KS0 = 0.717 +/- 0.013(stat) +/- 0.008(syst) and C-psi KS0 = 0.008 +/- 0.012(stat) +/- 0.003(syst). This measurement of S-psi KS0 represents the most precise single measurement of the CKM angle beta to date and is more precise than the current world average. In addition, measurements of the CP-violation parameters of the individual channels are reported and a combination with the LHCb Run 1 measurements is performed.

Abstract: A measurement of the time-dependent CP-violating asymmetry in Bs0 ->phi phi = 7 TeV in 2011, 8 TeV in 2012 and 13 TeV in 2015 and 2016, a signal yield of around 9000 Bs0 ->phi phi decays is obtained. The CP-violating phase phi sss over bar is measured to be -0.073 +/- 0.115(stat) +/- 0.027(syst) rad, under the assumption it is independent of the helicity of the phi phi decay. In addition, the CP-violating phases of the transverse polarisations under the assumption of CP conservation of the longitudinal phase are measured. The helicity-independent direct CP-violation parameter is also measured, and is found to be |lambda| = 0.99 +/- 0.05(stat) +/- 0.01(syst). In addition, T-odd triple-product asymmetries are measured. The results obtained are consistent with the hypothesis of CP conservation in b over bar -> s over bar ss over bar transitions. Finally, a limit on the branching fraction of the B-0 -> phi phi decay is determined to be Bmml:mfenced close=“)” open=(B0 ->phi phi 2.7x10(-8) at 90% confidence level.

Abstract: A measurement of CP violation in the decay B+ -> K+pi(0) is reported using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb- 1 collected with the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of root s = 13 TeV. The CP asymmetry is measured to be 0.025 +/- 0.015 +/- 0.006 +/- 0.003, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to an external input. This is the most precise measurement of this quantity. It confirms and significantly enhances the observed anomalous difference between the direct CP asymmetries of the B-0 -> K+pi(-) and B+ -> K+pi 0 decays, known as the K pi puzzle.

Abstract: A search for violation of the charge-parity (CP) symmetry in the D+ -> K- K+ pi(+) decay is presented, with proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb(-1), collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. A novel model-independent technique is used to compare the D+ and D- phase-space distributions, with instrumental asymmetries subtracted using the D-s(+) -> K- K+ pi(+) decay as a control channel. The p value for the hypothesis of CP conservation is 8.1%. The CP asymmetry observables A(CP vertical bar S)(phi pi+) = (0.95 +/- 0.43(stat) +/- 0.26(syst)) x 10(-3) and A(CP vertical bar S)((K) over bar *0 K+) = (-0.26 +/- 0.56(stat) +/- 0.18(syst)) x 10(-3) are also measured. These results show no evidence of CP violation and represent the most sensitive search performed through the phase space of a multibody decay.

Abstract: An angular analysis of the B-0 -> K-0 (-> K+pi(-))mu(+)mu(-) decay is presented using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb(-1) of pp collision data collected with the LHCb experiment. The full set of CP-averaged observables are determined in bins of the invariant mass squared of the dimuon system. Contamination from decays with the K+ pi(-) system in an S-wave configuration is taken into account. The tension seen between the previous LHCb results and the standard model predictions persists with the new data. The precise value of the significance of this tension depends on the choice of theory nuisance parameters.

Abstract: A time-dependent analysis of the B-s(0) -> phi gamma decay rate is performed to determine the CP -violating observables S-phi gamma and C-phi gamma and the mixing-induced observable A(phi gamma)(Delta). The measurement is based on a sample of pp collision data recorded with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The measured values are S-phi gamma = 0.43 +/- 0.30 +/- 0.11, C-phi gamma = 0.11 +/- 0.29 +/- 0.11, and A(phi gamma)(Delta) = -0.67(-0.41)(+0.37) +/- 0.17, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This is the first measurement of the observables S and C in radiative B-s(0) decays. The results are consistent with the standard model predictions.

Abstract: A measurement of the time-dependent ratio of the D-0 -> K+ to (D) over bar (0) pi(-) decay rates is reported. The analysis uses a sample of proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb- 1 recorded by the LHCb experiment from 2015 through 2018 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The D-0 meson is required to originate from a D*(2010)(+) -> D-0 pi(+) decay, such that its flavor at production is inferred from the charge of the accompanying pion. The measurement is performed simultaneously for the K+ pi(-) and K- pi(+) final states, allowing both mixing and CP-violation parameters to be determined. The value of the ratio of the decay rates at production is determined to be R-K pi = (343.1 +/- 2.0) x 10(-5). The mixing parameters are measured to be c(K pi) = (51.4 +/- 3.5) x 10(-4) and c(K pi)(0) = (13 +/- 4) x 10(-6), where root R(K pi)c(K pi) is the linear coefficient of the expansion of the ratio as a function of decay time in units of the D-0 lifetime, and c(K pi)(0) is the quadratic coefficient, both averaged between the K+ pi(-) and K- pi(+) final states. The precision is improved relative to the previous best measurement by approximately 60%. No evidence for CP violation is found.

Measurement of differential b(b)over-barand c(c)over-bar-dijet cross-sections in the forward region of pp collisions at root s=13 TeV. J. High Energy Phys., 02(2), 023–37pp.
Abstract: The inclusive b (b) over bar- and c (c) over bar -dijet production cross-sections in the forward region of pp collisions are measured using a data sample collected with the LHCb detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV in 2016. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.6 fb(-1). Differential cross-sections are measured as a function of the transverse momentum and of the pseudorapidity of the leading jet, of the rapidity difference between the jets, and of the dijet invariant mass. A fiducial region for the measurement is defined by requiring that the two jets originating from the two b or c quarks are emitted with transverse momentum greater than 20 GeV/c, pseudorapidity in the range 2.2 < eta < 4.2, and with a difference in the azimuthal angle between the two jets greater than 1.5. The integrated b (b) over bar -dijet cross-section is measured to be 53.0 +/- 9.7 nb, and the total c (c) over bar -dijet cross-section is measured to be 73 +/- 16 nb. The ratio between c (c) over bar- and b (b) over bar -dijet cross-sections is also measured and found to be 1.37 +/- 0.27. The results are in agreement with theoretical predictions at next-to-leading order.
