Abstract |
We have investigated the cross section for the pi(-) p -> K-0 pi Sigma and pp -> pK(+) pi Sigma reactions, paying attention to a mechanism that develops a triangle singularity. The triangle diagram is realized by the decay of a N* to K* Sigma and the K* decay into pi K, and the pi Sigma finally merges into Lambda (1405). The mechanism is expected to produce a peak around 2140 MeV in the K Lambda (1405) invariant mass. We found that a clear peak appears around 2100 MeV in the K Lambda (1405) invariant mass, which is about 40 MeV lower than the expectation, and that is due to the resonance peak of a N* resonance which plays a crucial role in the K* Sigma production. The mechanism studied produces the peak of the Lambda (1405) around or below 1400 MeV, as is seen in the pp -> pK(+) pi Sigma HADES experiment. |

Abstract |
We perform calculations for the eta(c) -> eta pi(+)pi(-) decay using elements of SU(3) symmetry to see the weight of different trios of pseudoscalars produced in this decay, prior to the final state interaction of the mesons. After that, the interaction of pairs of mesons, leading finally to eta pi(+)pi(-), is done using the chiral unitary approach. We evaluate the pi(+)pi(-) and pi eta mass distributions and find large and clear signals for f(0)(500), f(0)(980) and a(0)(980) excitation. The reaction is similar to the chi(c1) -> eta pi(+)pi(-), which has been recently measured at BESIII and its implementation and comparison with these predictions will be very valuable to shed light on the nature of the low mass scalar mesons. |

Abstract |
We study the B-c(-) -> pi(-) J/omega and B-c(-) -> pi(-) D* (D) over bar* reactions and show that they are related by the presence of two resonances, the X(3940) and X(3930), that are of molecular nature and couple most strongly to D* (D) over bar*, but also to J/psi omega. Because of that, in the J/psi omega mass distribution we find a cusp with large strength at the D* (D) over bar* threshold and predict the ratio of strengths between the peak of the cusp and the maximum of the D* (D) over bar* distribution close to D* (D) over bar* threshold, which are distinct features of the molecular nature of these two resonances. |

Abstract |
Motivated by the experimental measurements of D-0 radiative decay modes, we have proposed a model to study the D-0 -> (K) over bar*(0)gamma decay, by establishing a link with D-0 -> (K) over bar*(0) V (V = rho(0), omega) decays through the vector meson dominance hypothesis. In order to do this properly, we have used the Lagrangians from the local hidden gauge symmetry approach to account for V gamma conversion. As a result, we have found the branching ratio B[D-0 -> (K) over bar*(0)gamma]=(1.55-3.44)x10(-4), which is in fair agreement with the experimental values reported by the Belle and BaBar collaborations. |

Abstract |
We perform calculations for the (B) over bar (0)(s)-> J/psi pi(0)f(0)(980) and (B) over bar (0)(s)-> J/psi pi(0)a(0)(980) reactions, showing that the first is isospin-suppressed while the second is isospin-allowed. The reaction proceeds via a triangle mechanism, with (B) over bar (0)(s)-> J/psi K*(K) over bar +c.c., followed by the decay K*-> K pi and a further fusion of K (K) over bar into the f(0)(980) or a(0)(980). We show that the mechanism develops a singularity around the pi(0)f(0)(980) or pi(0)a(0)(980) invariant mass of 1420 MeV, where the pi(0)f(0) and pi(0)a(0) decay modes are magnified and also the ratio of pi(0)f(0) to pi(0)a(0) production. Using experimental information for the (B) over bar (0)(s)-> J/psi K*(K) over bar +c.c. decay, we are able to obtain absolute values for the reactions studied which fall into the experimentally accessible range. The reactions proposed and the observables evaluated, when contrasted with actual experiments, should be very valuable to obtain information on the nature of the low lying scalar mesons. |

Abstract |
We study the semileptonic decay of B-c(-) meson into & Unknown;l(-) and the isospin zero X (3930) (2(++)), X(3940) (0(++)), X (4160) (2(++)) resonances. We look at the reaction from the perspective that these resonaces appear as dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction in the charm sector, and couple strongly to D*& Unknown;D* and D-s*& Unknown;D-s*. We also look into the B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D*& Unknown;* and B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D-s*& Unknown;(s)* reactions close to threshold and relate the D*& Unknown;* and D-s*& Unknown;(s)* mass distribution to the rate of production of the X resonances. |

Abstract |
The decay of Lambda(+)(c) into pi(+)pi(0) Lambda(1405) with the Lambda(1405) decay into pi(0)Sigma(0) through a triangle diagram is studied. This process is initiated by Lambda(+)(c) -> pi(+) (K) over bar N-*, and then the (K) over bar (*) decays into (K) over bar (pi) and (K) over bar N produce the Lambda(1405) through a triangle loop containing (K) over bar N-* (K) over bar which develops a singularity around 1890 MeV. This process is prohibited by the isospin symmetry, but the decay into this channel is enhanced by the contribution of the triangle diagram, which is sensitive to the mass of the internal particles. We find a narrow peak in the pi(0)Sigma(0) invariant mass distribution, which originates from the (K) over bar amplitude, but is tied to the mass differences between the charged and neutral (K) over bar or N states. The observation of the unavoidable peak of the triangle singularity in the isospin- violating Lambda(1405) production would provide further support for the hadronic molecular picture of the Lambda(1405) and further information on the (K) over bar N interaction. |

Abstract |
We have investigated Omega(c) states that are dynamically generated from the meson-baryon interaction. We use an extension of the local hidden gauge to obtain the interaction from the exchange of vector mesons. We show that the dominant terms come from the exchange of light vectors, where the heavy quarks are spectators. This has as a consequence that heavy quark symmetry is preserved for the dominant terms in the (1/m(Q)) counting, and also that the interaction in this case can be obtained from the SU(3) chiral Lagrangians. We show that for a standard value for the cutoff regulating the loop, we obtain two states with J(P) = 1/2(-) and two more with J(P) = 3/2(-), three of them in remarkable agreement with three experimental states in mass and width. We also make predictions at higher energies for states of vector-baryon nature. |

Abstract |
Using the local hidden gauge approach, we study the possibility of the existence of bottom strange molecular states with isospin 0. We find three bound states with spin parity 0(+), 1(+), and 2(+) generated by the (K) over bar *B* and omega B-s(*) interaction, among which the state with spin 2 can be identified as B(s2)(*()5840). In addition, we also study the (K) over bar *B* and omega B-s(*) interaction and find a bound state which can be associated to B-s1(5830). In addition, the (K) over barB*, eta B-s(*)(K) over barB, and eta B-s systems are studied, and two bound states are predicted. We expect that further experiments can confirm our predictions. |

Abstract |
Motivated by the recent finding of five Omega(c) states by the LHCb collaboration, and the successful reproduction of three of them in a recent approach searching for molecular states of meson-baryon with the quantum numbers of Omega(c), we extend these ideas and make predictions for the interaction of meson-baryon in the beauty sector, searching for poles in the scattering matrix that correspond to physical states. We find several Omega(b) states: two states with masses 6405 MeV and 6465 MeV for J(P) = 1/2(-) ; two more states with masses 6427 MeV and 6665 MeV for 3/4(-) ; and three states between 6500 and 6820 MeV, degenerate with J(P) = 1/2(-), 3/4(-), stemming from the interaction of vector-baryon in the beauty sector. |
