Title Note on X(3872) production at hadron colliders and its molecular structure Type Journal Article

Keywords X(3872); hadronic molecules; exotic hadrons
Abstract The production of the X (3872) as a hadronic molecule in hadron colliders is clarified. We show that the conclusion of Bignamini et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 103 (2009) 162001, that the production of the X(3872) at high pT implies a non-molecular structure, does not hold. In particular, using the well understood properties of the deuteron wave function as an example, we identify the relevant scales in the production process.

Title Remarks on the P-c structures and triangle singularities Type Journal Article

Abstract It was proposed that the narrow P-c(4450) structure observed by the LHCb Collaboration in the reaction Lambda(b) -> J/psi pK might be due to a triangle singularity around the chi(c1)-proton threshold at 4.45 GeV. We discuss the occurrence of a similar triangle singularity in the J/psi p invariant mass distribution for the decay Lambda(b) -> J/psi p pi, which could explain the bump around 4.45 GeV in the data. More precise measurements of this process would provide valuable information towards an understanding of the P-c structures.

Title Searching for the 2+partner of the Tcs0(2870) in the B- -> D- D0 K0S reaction Type Journal Article

Abstract We study the B- -> D- D0 K0S reaction, recently analyzed by the LHCb Collaboration, where a clear signal for the exotic Tcs0(2870) state was reported. We call attention to a small peak in the D0K0S mass distribution that could correspond to a state of the same nature as the Tcs0(2870) (D*K<overline>* nature in the molecular picture), but with JP = 2+. In order to magnify the signal for the state, we calculate the moments of the angle-mass distribution, which are linear in the resonance signal, rather than quadratic for the angle integrated mass distribution. We find spectra for the moments with a strength far bigger than that for the angle integrated mass distribution, which should encourage the evaluation of these moments from the present measurements of the reaction.

Title Searching for signals of an exotic I=1,JP=2+ state of D*K* nature and the structure of the Pc(4312) in the Λb→Σc plus plus D-K- reaction Type Journal Article

Abstract This paper investigates the decay process Lambda-Sigma++-- with the objective of finding a predicted molecular state with isospin = 1, = 2+ of nature, plus finding support for the (4312) state as made out of Sigma. The mass distribution of the -- system shows distinct features as a consequence of the existence of this 2+ state, while the Sigma distribution exhibits a significant peak near the threshold, much bigger than phase space expectations, which is linked to our assumed Sigma nature of the (4312) state below the Sigma threshold. The reaction has been measured at LHCb Collaboration, but only the branching ratio is measured. The present study shows that much valuable information can be obtained about the predicted 2+ (2834) of nature and the (4312) states from the measurements of the mass distributions in this reaction, which will be accessible in the planned updates of LHCb.

Title Strange molecular partners of the Z(c)(3900) and Z(c)(4020) Type Journal Article
Year 2021 Publication Physical Review D Abbreviated Journal Phys. Rev. D
Volume 103 Issue 7 Pages 074029 - 8pp

Abstract Quantum chromodynamics presents a series of exact and approximate symmetries which can be exploited to predict new hadrons from previously known ones. The Z(c)(3900) and Z(c)(4020), which have been theorized to be isovector D*(D) over bar and D*(D) over bar* molecules [I-G(J(PC)) = 1(-)(1)(+-))], are no exception. Here we argue that from SU(3)-flavor symmetry, we should expect the existence of strange partners of the Z(c)'s with hadronic molecular configurations D*(D) over bar (s) – D (D) over bar*(s) and D*(D) over bar*(s) (or, equivalently, quark content c (c) over bars (q) over bar, with q = u, d). The quantum numbers of these Z(cs) and Z(cs)* structures would be I(J(P)) = 1/2 (1(+)). The predicted masses of these partners depend on the details of the theoretical scheme used, but they should be around the D*(D) over bar (s) – D (D) over bar*(s) and D*(D) over bar*(s) thresholds, respectively. Moreover, any of these states could be either a virtual pole or a resonance. We show that, together with a possible triangle singularity contribution, such a picture nicely agrees with the very recent BESIII data of the e(+)e(-) -> K+((Ds-D*0) + D*D--(s)0).
