| Abstract |
An amplitude analysis of B0 -> J=psi phi K0S decays is performed using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb-1, collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. Evidence with a significance of 4.0 standard deviations of a structure in the J=psi K0S system, named T theta psi s1o4000 thorn 0, is seen, with its mass and width measured to be 3991 thorn 12 thorn 9 -10 -17 MeV=c2 and 105 thorn 29 thorn 17 -25 -23 MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The T theta psi s1 o4000 thorn 0 state is likely to be the isospin partner of the T theta psi s1 o4000 thorn thorn state, previously observed in the J=psi K thorn system of the B thorn -> J=psi phi K thorn decay. When isospin symmetry for the charged and neutral T theta psi s1 o4000 thorn states is assumed, the signal significance increases to 5.4 standard deviations. |

| Abstract |
First evidence of a structure in the J/psi Lambda invariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of Xi(-)(b) -> J/psi Lambda K- decays. The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1r including systematic uncertainties and lookelsewhere effect. Its mass and width are determined to be 4458.8 +/- 2.9(-1.1)(+4.7) MeV and 17.3 +/- 6.5(-5.7)(+8.0) MeV, respectively, where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and systematic. The structure is also consistent with being due to two resonances. In addition, the narrow excited Xi(-) states, Xi(-)(1690) and Xi(-)(1820)(-), are seen for the first time in a Xi(-)(b) decay, and their masses and widths are measured with improved precision. The analysis is performed using pp collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1), collected with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. |

| Abstract |
The Xi(0)(c) baryon is unstable and usually decays into charmless final states by the c -> sud transition. It can, however, also disintegrate into a pi(-) meson and a Lambda(+)(c) baryon via s quark decay or via cs -> dc weak scattering. The interplay between the latter two processes governs the size of the branching fraction B(Xi(0)(c) -> pi(-) Lambda(+)(c)), first measured here to be (0.55 +/- 0.02 +/- 0.18)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and second systematic. This result is compatible with the larger of the theoretical predictions that connect models of hyperon decays using partially conserved axial currents and SU(3) symmetry with those involving the heavy-quark expansion and heavy-quark symmetry. In addition, the branching fraction of the normalization channel, B(Xi(+)(c) -> pK(-) pi(+)) = (1.135 +/- 0.002 +/- 0.387)% is measured. |

| Abstract |
The Xi(0(-))(b) -> Xi(c)(3055)(+(0))(-> D+(0)Lambda)pi(-) decay chains are observed, and the spin-parity of Xi(c)(3055)(+(0)) baryons is determined for the first time. The measurement is performed using protonproton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of root s = 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb(-1), recorded by the LHCb experiment between 2016 and 2018. The spin-parity of the Xi(c)(3055)(+(0)) baryons is determined to be 3/2(+) with a significance of more than 6.5 sigma (3.5 sigma) compared to all other tested hypotheses. The up-down asymmetries of the Xi(0(-))(b) -> Xi(c)(3055)(+(0))pi(-) transitions are measured to be -0.92 +/- 0.10 +/- 0.05 (-0.92 +/- 0.16 +/- 0.22), consistent with maximal parity violation, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. These results support the hypothesis that the Xi(c)(3055)(+(0)) baryons correspond to the first D-wave lambda-mode excitation of the Xi(c) flavor triplet. |

| Abstract |
The CP asymmetry and branching fraction of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa-suppressed decay B+ -> J/psi pi(+) are precisely measured relative to the favored decay B+ -> J/psi K+ using a sample of protonproton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb(-1) recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV during 2016-2018. The results of the CP asymmetry difference and branching fraction ratio are Delta A(CP)= A(CP)(B+ -> J/psi pi(+))-A(CP)(B+ -> J/psi K+)=(1.29 +/- 0.49 +/- 0.08)x10(-2), R-pi/K [B(B+ -> J/psi pi(+))/ B(B+-> J/psi K+)] = (3.852 +/- 0.022 +/- 0.018)x10(-2), where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. A combination with previous LHCb results based on data collected at 7 and 8 TeVin 2011 and 2012 yields Delta A(CP) = (1.42 +/- 0.43 +/- 0.08) x 10(-2) and R pi/K = (3.846 +/- 0.018 +/- 0.018) x 10(-2). The combined Delta A(CP) value deviates from zero by 3.2 standard deviations, providing the first evidence for direct CP violation in the amplitudes of beauty decays to charmonium final states. |

| Abstract |
The LHCb collaboration presents a novel suite of heavy-flavour jet substructure measurements at forward rapidity in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 13 TeV. The jet mass is a perturbatively calculable probe of the virtuality of hard-scattered quarks and gluons, connecting small-distance quantum chromodynamics (QCD) with long-distance experimental measurement. The jet mass is dominated by nonperturbative corrections at small values, presenting an excellent test of QCD across a broad range of jet energies. Measuring heavy-flavour jet mass with a theoretically unambiguous flavour definition for the first time probes the gluon splitting mechanism for heavy-flavour production and offers tests of perturbative QCD at new levels of theoretical precision. Utilising the soft drop jet-grooming technique to access the perturbative jet core further enhances constraints on first-principles theory. Measurements of the jet mass for jets containing fully reconstructed B-+/- hadrons are reported with and without grooming. The unique phase space instrumented by LHCb offers a different quarkgluon fraction than at midrapidity. These results offer unparalleled tests of quark flavour and mass dependence in QCD and provide a baseline for future studies of heavy-flavour jet quenching in heavy-ion collisions. |

| Abstract |
A flavour-tagged time-dependent angular analysis of B-s(0) -> J/Psi phi decays is presented where the J/Psi meson is reconstructed through its decay to an e(+)e(-) pair. The analysis uses a sample of pp collision data recorded with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1). The CP-violating phase and lifetime parameters of the B-s(0) s system are measured to be phi(s) = 0.00 +/- 0.28 +/- 0.07 rad, Delta Gamma(s) = 0.115 +/- 0.045 +/- 0.011 ps(-1) and Delta Gamma(s) = 0.608 +/- 0.018 +/- 0.012 ps(-1) where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This is the first time that CP-violating parameters are measured in the B-s(0) -> J/Psi phi decay with an e+e- pair in the final state. The results are consistent with previous measurements in other channels and with the Standard Model predictions. |

| Abstract |
The first study of the angular distribution of mu(+) mu(-) pairs produced in the forward rapidity region via the Drell-Yan reaction pp -> gamma*/Z + X -> l(+) l(-) + X is presented, using data collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.1 fb(-1). The coefficients of the five leading terms in the angular distribution are determined as a function of the dimuon transverse momentum and rapidity. The results are compared to various theoretical predictions of the Z-boson production mechanism and can also be used to probe transverse-momentum-dependent parton distributions within the proton. |

The first observation of the Lambda(0)(b) -> D-s(-) p decay is presented using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 13TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 6 fb(-1). Using the Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda(+pi-)(c) decay as the normalisation mode, the branching fraction of the Lambda(0)(b) -> D-s(-) p decay is measured to be B (Lambda(0)(b) -> D-s(-) p) = (12.6 +/- 0.5 +/- 0.3 +/- 1.2) x 10(-6), where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third due to uncertainties in the branching fractions of the Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda(+pi-)(c), D-s(-) -> K-K+pi(-) and Lambda(+)(c) -> pK(-)pi(+) decays. |

| Abstract |
A combined amplitude analysis is performed for the decays B0-+ D0D thorn s & pi;- and B thorn -+ D-D thorn s & pi; thorn , which are related by isospin symmetry. The analysis is based on data collected by the LHCb detector in proton -proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. The full data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb-1. Two new resonant states with masses of 2.908 ⠂ 0.011 ⠂ 0.020 GeV and widths of 0.136 ⠂ 0.023 ⠂ 0.013 GeV are observed, which decay to D thorn s & pi; thorn and D thorn s & pi;- respectively. The former state indicates the first observation of a doubly charged open-charm tetraquark state with minimal quark content 1/2cs over bar ud over bar ⠃, and the latter state is a neutral tetraquark composed of 1/2cs over bar u over bar d ⠃ quarks. Both states are found to have spin-parity of 0 thorn , and their resonant parameters are consistent with each other, which suggests that they belong to an isospin triplet. |
