Abstract: In this work we investigate the possibility of the formation of states from the dynamics involved in the D* D* D* system by considering that two D*'s generate a JP = 1+ bound state, with isospin 0, which has been predicted in an earlier theoretical work. We solve the Faddeev equations for this system within the fixed center approximation and find the existence of J(P) = 0(-), 1(-) and 2(-) states with charm 3, isospin 1/2, masses similar to 6000 MeV, which are manifestly exotic hadrons, i.e., with a multiquark inner structure.

Abstract: We study the D+ -> pi(+) eta eta and D+ -> pi(+)pi(0) eta reactions, which are single Cabibbo suppressed and can proceed both through internal and external emission. The primary mechanisms at quark level are considered, followed by hadronization to produce three mesons in the D+ decay, and after that the final state interaction of these mesons leads to the production of the a(0)(980) resonance, seen in the pi(+)eta, pi(0)eta mass distributions. The theory has three unknown parameters to determine the shape of the distributions and the ratio between the D+ -> pi(+) eta eta and D+ -> pi(+)pi(0) eta rates. This ratio restricts much the sets of parameters but there is still much freedom leading to different shapes in the mass distributions. We call for a measurement of these mass distributions that will settle the reaction mechanism, while at the same time provide relevant information on the way that the a(0)(980) resonance is produced in the reactions.

Abstract: We have performed an analysis of the e+e--> D(*) data in the region of the psi(4040) and psi(4160) resonances which have a substantial overlap and require special care. By using the P-3(0) model to relate the different D(*)(D) over bar(*) production modes, we make predictions for production of these channels and compare with experiment and other theoretical approaches. As a side effect we find that these resonances qualify largely as c (c) over bar states and theweight of the meson-meson components in the wave function is very small.

Abstract: We study the semileptonic decay of B-c(-) meson into & Unknown;l(-) and the isospin zero X (3930) (2(++)), X(3940) (0(++)), X (4160) (2(++)) resonances. We look at the reaction from the perspective that these resonaces appear as dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction in the charm sector, and couple strongly to D*& Unknown;D* and D-s*& Unknown;D-s*. We also look into the B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D*& Unknown;* and B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D-s*& Unknown;(s)* reactions close to threshold and relate the D*& Unknown;* and D-s*& Unknown;(s)* mass distribution to the rate of production of the X resonances.

Abstract: From the perspective that Lambda(C)(2595) and Lambda(C)(2625) are dynamically generated resonances from the DN, D*N interaction and coupled channels, we have evaluated the rates for Lambda(b) -> pi(-)Lambda(C)(2595) and Lambda(b) -> pi(-)Lambda(C)(2625) up to a global unknown factor that allows us to calculate the ratio of rates and compare with experiment, where good agreement is found. Similarly, we can also make predictions for the ratio of rates of the, yet unknown, decays of Lambda(b) -> D-s(-)Lambda(C)(2595) and Lambda(b) -> D-s(-)Lambda(c)(2625) and make estimates for their individual branching fractions.

Abstract: In this work we stu dy the rho B*(B) over bar* three-body system solving the Faddeev equations in the fixed center approximation. We assume the B*B* system forming a cluster, and in terms of the two-body rho B* unitarized scattering amplitudes in the local hidden gauge approach we find a new I(J(PC)) = 1(3(--)) state. The mass of the new state corresponds to a two-particle invariant mass of the rho B* system close to the resonant energy of the B-2(*) (5747), indicating that the role of this J = 2 resonance is important in the dynamical generation of the new state.

Abstract: We study the interaction of rho, D* and (D) over bar* with spins aligned using the fixed center approximation to the Faddeev equations. We select a cluster of D*(D) over bar*, which is found to be bound in I = 0 and can be associated to the X(3915), and let the rho meson orbit around the D* and (D) over bar*. In this case we find an I = 1 state with mass around 4340 MeV and narrow width of about 50MeV. We also investigate the case with a cluster of rho D* and let the (D) over bar * orbit around the system of the two states. The rho D* cluster is also found to bind and leads to the D-2*(2460) state. The addition of the extra (D) over bar* produces further binding and we find, with admitted uncertainties, a state of I = 0 around 4000MeV, and a less bound narrow state with I = 1 around 4200 MeV.

Abstract: We study the system with the aim to describe the rho(1700) resonance. The chiral unitary approach has achieved success in the description of systems of the light hadron sector. With this method, the system in the isospin sector I = 0, is found to be a dominant component of the f (0)(980) resonance. Therefore, by regarding the system as a cluster, the f (0)(980) resonance, we evaluate the system applying the fixed-center approximation to the Faddeev equations. We construct the rho K unitarized amplitude using the chiral unitary approach. As a result, we find a peak in the three-body amplitude around 1732 MeV and a width of about 161 MeV. The effect of the width of the rho and f (0)(980) is also discussed. We associate this peak to the rho(1700) which has a mass of 1720 +/- 20MeV and a width of 250 +/- 100 MeV.

Abstract: After discussing the OZI suppression of one light meson exchange in the interaction of with isospin I = 1 , we study the contribution of the two-pion exchange to the interaction and the exchange of heavy vectors, J/psi for diagonal transitions and D-* for transitions of to J/psi rho. We find these latter mechanisms to be weak, but enough to barely bind the system in J = 2 with a mass around 4000 MeV, while the effect of the two-pion exchange is a net attraction, though weaker than that from heavy-vector exchange. We discuss this state and try to relate it to the Z (c) (4025) state, above the threshold, claimed in an experiment at BES from an enhancement of the distribution close to threshold. Together with the results from a recent reanalysis of the BES experiment showing that it is compatible with a J = 2 state below threshold around 3990 MeV, we conclude that the BES experiment could show the existence of the state that we find in our approach.

Abstract: We use a recently developed formalism which generalizes Weinberg's compositeness condition to partial waves higher than s-wave in order to determine the probability of having a K pi component in the K* wave function. A fit is made to the K pi phase shifts in p-wave, from where the coupling of K* to K pi and the K pi loop function are determined. These ingredients allow us to determine that the K* is a genuine state, different from a K pi component, in a proportion of about 80%.
