Abstract |
The process e(+)e(-) -> p (p) over bar gamma is studied using 469 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, at an e(+)e(-) center-of-mass energy of 10.6 GeV. From the analysis of the p (p) over bar invariant mass spectrum, the energy dependence of the cross section for e(+)e(-) -> p (p) over bar is measured from threshold to 4.5 GeV. The energy dependence of the ratio of electric and magnetic form factors, vertical bar G(E)/G(M)vertical bar, and the asymmetry in the proton angular distribution are measured for p (p) over bar masses below 3 GeV. We also measure the branching fractions for the decays J/psi -> p (p) over bar and psi(2S) -> p (p) over bar are also determined. |

Abstract |
We study inclusive dipion decays using a sample of 108 x 10(6)Y(3S) events recorded with the BABAR detector. We search for the decay mode Y(3S) -> pi(+)pi(-) h(b)(1P) and find no evidence for the bottomonium spin-singlet state h(b)(1P) in the invariant mass distribution recoiling against the pi(+)pi(-) system. Assuming the h(b)(1P) mass to be 9.900 GeV/c(2), we measure the upper limit on the branching fraction B[Y(3S) -> pi(+)pi(-) h(b)(1P)] < 1.2 x 10(-4), at 90% confidence level. We also investigate the chi(bJ)(2P) -> pi(+)pi(-) chi(bJ)(1P), Y(3S) -> pi(+)pi(-) Y(2S), and Y(2S) -> pi(+)pi(-) Y(1) dipion transitions and present an improved measurement of the branching fraction of the Y(3S) -> pi(+)pi(-) Y(2S) decay and of the Y(3S) – Y(2S) mass difference. |

Abstract |
A search is performed for D-sJ(()*()+) mesons in the reactions pp -> D*(+KSX)-X-0 and pp -> D*(K+X)-K-0 using data collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV with the LHCb detector. For the D*K-+(S)0 final state, the decays D*(+) -> D-0 pi(+) with D-0 -> K-pi(+) and D-0 -> K-pi(+)pi(+)pi(-) are used. For D*K-0(+), the decay D*(0) -> D-0 pi(0) with D-0 -> K-pi(+) is used. A prominent D-s1(2536)(+) signal is observed in both D*K-+(S)0 and D*K-0(+) final states. The resonances D*(s1)(2700)(+) and D*(s3)(2860)(+) are also observed, yielding information on their properties, including spin-parity assignments. The decay D*(s2)(2573)(+) -> D*(+) K-S(0) is observed for the first time, at a significance of 6.9 sigma, and its branching fraction relative to the D*(s2)(2573)(+) -> (D+KS0) decay mode is measured. |

Abstract |
We perform amplitude analyses of the decays B-0 -> K+ K- K-s(0), B+ -> K+ K- K+, and B+ -> K-s(0) K-s(0) K+, and measure CP-violating parameters and partial branching fractions. The results are based on a data sample of approximately 470 x 10(6) B (B) over bar decays, collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. For B+ -> K+ K- K+, we find a direct CP asymmetry in B+ -> phi(1020)K+ of A(CP) = (12.8 +/- 4.4 +/- 1.3)%, which differs from zero by 2.8 sigma. For B-0 -> K+ K- K-s(0), we measure the CP-violating phase ss(eff)(phi(1020)K-s(0)) = (21 +/- 6 +/- 2)degrees. For B+ -> K-s(0) K-s(0) K+, we measure an overall direct CP asymmetry of A(CP) = (4(-5)(+4) +/- 2)%. We also perform an angular-moment analysis of the three channels and determine that the f(X()1500) state can be described well by the sum of the resonances f(0)(1500), f(2)'(1525), and f(0)(1710). |

Abstract |
An analysis of the decays of B--/+ -> DK -/+ and B--/+ -> D pi(-/+) is presented in which the D meson is reconstructed in the three-body final states K--/+pi(+/-)pi(0), pi(+)pi(-)pi(0) and K+K-pi(0). Using data from LHCb corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1) of pp collisions, measurements of several CP observables are performed. First observations are obtained of the suppressed Atwood-Dunietz-Soni decay B--/+ -> [pi K-+(+/-)pi(0)](D)pi(-/+) and the quasi-Gronau-London-Wyler decay B--/+ -> [K+K-pi(0)](D)pi(-/+). The results are interpreted in the context of the unitarity triangle angle gamma and related parameters. |
