Title (down) Pion radiative weak decays in nonlocal chiral quark models Type Journal Article
Year 2011 Publication Physics Letters B Abbreviated Journal Phys. Lett. B
Volume 698 Issue 3 Pages 236-242
Keywords Nonlocal quark models; Pion radiative weak decays
Abstract We analyze the radiative pion decay pi(+) -> e(+) nu(e)gamma within nonlocal chiral quark models that include wave function renormalization. In this framework we calculate the vector and axial-vector form factors F-V and F-A at q(2) = 0 – where q(2) is the e(+) nu(e) squared invariant mass – and the slope a of F-V (q(2)) at q(2) -> 0. The calculations are carried out considering different nonlocal form factors, in particular those taken from lattice QCD evaluations, showing a reasonable agreement with the corresponding experimental data. The comparison of our results with those obtained in the (local) NJL model and the relation of F-V and a with the form factor in pi(0) -> gamma*gamma decays are discussed.

Title (down) Phenomenology of fermion dark matter as neutrino mass mediator with gauged B-L Type Journal Article
Year 2021 Publication Physics Letters B Abbreviated Journal Phys. Lett. B
Volume 817 Issue Pages 136292 - 12pp
Keywords
Abstract We analyze a model with unbroken U(1)(B-L) gauge symmetry where neutrino masses are generated at one loop, after spontaneous breaking of a global U(1)(G) symmetry. These symmetries ensure dark matter (DM) stability and the Diracness of neutrinos. Within this context, we examine fermionic dark matter. Consistency between the required neutrino mass and the observed relic abundance indicates dark matter masses and couplings within the reach of direct detection experiments.

Title (down) Phenomenological constraints on light mixed sneutrino dark matter scenarios Type Journal Article
Year 2015 Publication Physics Letters B Abbreviated Journal Phys. Lett. B
Volume 749 Issue Pages 44-49
Keywords
Abstract In supersymmetric models with Dirac neutrinos, the lightest sneutrino can be a good thermal dark matter candidate when the soft sneutrino trilinear parameter is large. In this paper, we focus on scenarios where the mass of the mixed sneutrino LSP is of the order of GeV so the sneutrino dark matter is still viable complying with the limits by current and near future direct detection experiments. We investigate phenomenological constraints in the parameter space of the models, as well as the vacuum stability bound. Finally, we show that the allowed regions can be explored by measuring Higgs boson properties at future collider experiments.

Title (down) Pentaquarks with anticharm or beauty revisited Type Journal Article
Year 2019 Publication Physics Letters B Abbreviated Journal Phys. Lett. B
Volume 790 Issue Pages 248-250
Keywords
Abstract We use a constituent model to analyze the stability of pentaquark (Q) over bar qqqq configurations with a heavy antiquark (c) over bar or (b) over bar, and four light quarks uuds, ddsu or ssud. The interplay between chromoelectric and chromomagnetic effects is not favorable, and, as a consequence, no bound state is found below the lowest dissociation threshold.

Title (down) Peccei-Quinn field for inflation, baryogenesis, dark matter, and much more Type Journal Article
Year 2016 Publication Physics Letters B Abbreviated Journal Phys. Lett. B
Volume 756 Issue Pages 317-322
Keywords
Abstract We propose a scenario of brane cosmology in which the Peccei-Quinn field plays the role of the inflaton and solves simultaneously many cosmological and phenomenological issues such as the generation of a heavy Majorana mass for the right-handed neutrinos needed for seesaw mechanism, MSSM mu-parameter, the right amount of baryon number asymmetry and dark matter relic density at the present universe, together with an axion solution to the strong CP problem without the domain wall obstacle. Interestingly, the scales of the soft SUSY-breaking mass parameter and those of the breaking of U(1)(PQ) symmetry are lower bounded at O(10) TeV and O(10(11)) GeV, respectively.
