MiniBooNE Collaboration(Aguilar-Arevalo, A. A. et al), & Sorel, M. (2011). Measurement of nu(mu)-induced charged-current neutral pion production cross sections on mineral oil at E-nu is an element of 0.5-2.0 GeV. Phys. Rev. D, 83(5), 052009–17pp.
Abstract: Using a custom 3-Cerenkov ring fitter, we report cross sections for nu(mu)-induced charged-current single pi(0) production on mineral oil (CH2) from a sample of 5810 candidate events with 57% signal purity over an energy range of 0.5-2.0 GeV. This includes measurements of the absolute total cross section as a function of neutrino energy, and flux-averaged differential cross sections measured in terms of Q(2), mu(-) kinematics, and pi(0) kinematics. The sample yields a flux-averaged total cross section of (9.2 +/- 0.3(stat) +/- 1.5(syst)) X 10(-39) cm(2)/CH2 at mean neutrino energy of 0.965 GeV.

MiniBooNE Collaboration(Aguilar-Arevalo, A. A. et al), & Sorel, M. (2011). Measurement of neutrino-induced charged-current charged pion production cross sections on mineral oil at E-nu similar to 1 GeV. Phys. Rev. D, 83(5), 052007–26pp.
Abstract: Using a high-statistics, high-purity sample of nu(mu)-induced charged current, charged pion events in mineral oil (CH2), MiniBooNE reports a collection of interaction cross sections for this process. This includes measurements of the CC pi+ cross section as a function of neutrino energy, as well as flux-averaged single-and double-differential cross sections of the energy and direction of both the final-state muon and pion. In addition, each of the single-differential cross sections are extracted as a function of neutrino energy to decouple the shape of the MiniBooNE energy spectrum from the results. In many cases, these cross sections are the first time such quantities have been measured on a nuclear target and in the 1 GeV energy range.

ATLAS Collaboration(Aad, G. et al), Amoros, G., Cabrera Urban, S., Castillo Gimenez, V., Costa, M. J., Escobar, C., et al. (2011). Measurement of multi-jet cross sections in proton-proton collisions at a 7 TeV center-of-mass energy. Eur. Phys. J. C, 71(11), 1763–27pp.
Abstract: Inclusive multi-jet production is studied in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, using the ATLAS detector. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 2.4 pb(-1). Results on multi-jet cross sections are presented and compared to both leading-order plus parton-shower Monte Carlo predictions and to next-to-leading-order QCD calculations.

SciBooNE Collaboration(Cheng, G. et al), Catala-Perez, J., Gomez-Cadenas, J. J., & Sorel, M. (2011). Measurement of K(+) production cross section by 8 GeV protons using high-energy neutrino interactions in the SciBooNE detector. Phys. Rev. D, 84(1), 012009–22pp.
Abstract: The SciBooNE Collaboration reports K(+) production cross section and rate measurements using high-energy daughter muon neutrino scattering data off the SciBar polystyrene (C(8)H(8)) target in the SciBooNE detector. The K(+) mesons are produced by 8 GeV protons striking a beryllium target in Fermilab Booster Neutrino Beam line (BNB). Using observed neutrino and antineutrino events in SciBooNE, we measure d(2)sigma/dpd Omega = (5.34 +/- 0.76) mb/(GeV/c x sr) for p + Be -> K(+) + X at mean K(+) energy of 3.9 GeVand angle (with respect to the proton beam direction) of 3.7 degrees, corresponding to the selected K(+) sample. Compared to Monte Carlo predictions using previous higher energy K(+) production measurements, this measurement, which uses the NUANCE neutrino interaction generator, is consistent with a normalization factor of 0.85 +/- 0.12. This agreement is evidence that the extrapolation of the higher energy K(+) measurements to an 8 GeV beam energy using Feynman scaling is valid. This measurement reduces the error on the K(+) production cross section from 40% to 14%.

K2K Collaboration(Mariani, C. et al), Cervera-Villanueva, A., Tornero-Lopez, A., Burguet-Castell, J., Catala, J., Gomez-Cadenas, J. J., et al. (2011). Measurement of inclusive pi(0) production in the charged-current interactions of neutrinos in a 1.3-GeV wide band beam. Phys. Rev. D, 83(5), 054023–17pp.
Abstract: In this paper, we report on the measurement of the rate of inclusive pi(0) production induced by charged-current neutrino interactions in a C8H8 target at a mean energy of 1.3 GeV in the K2K near detector. Out of a sample of 11 606 charged- current neutrino interactions, we select 479 pi(0) events with two reconstructed photons. We find that the cross section for the inclusive pi(0) production relative to the charged-current quasielastic cross section is (CC)-C-sigma pi(0)/sigma CCQE = 0.426 +/- 0.032 (stat) +/- 0.035 (syst). The energy-dependent cross section ratio is also measured. The results are consistent with previous experiments for exclusive channels on different targets.
