MiniBooNE Collaboration(Aguilar-Arevalo, A. A. et al), & Sorel, M. (2010). Measurement of the neutrino neutral-current elastic differential cross section on mineral oil at E-nu similar to 1 GeV. Phys. Rev. D, 82(9), 092005–16pp.
Abstract: We report a measurement of the flux-averaged neutral-current elastic differential cross section for neutrinos scattering on mineral oil (CH2) as a function of four-momentum transferred squared, Q(2). It is obtained by measuring the kinematics of recoiling nucleons with kinetic energy greater than 50 MeV which are readily detected in MiniBooNE. This differential cross-section distribution is fit with fixed nucleon form factors apart from an axial mass M-A that provides a best fit for M-A = 1.39 +/- 0.11 GeV. Using the data from the charged-current neutrino interaction sample, a ratio of neutral-current to charged-current quasielastic cross sections as a function of Q(2) has been measured. Additionally, single protons with kinetic energies above 350 MeV can be distinguished from neutrons and multiple nucleon events. Using this marker, the strange quark contribution to the neutral-current axial vector form factor at Q(2) – 0, Delta s, is found to be Delta s = 0.08 +/- 0.26.

CDF Collaboration(Aaltonen, T. et al), & Cabrera, S. (2010). Measurement of the Lambda(0)(b) Lifetime in Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda(+)(c)pi(-) Decays in p(p)over-bar Collisions at root s=1.96 TeV. Phys. Rev. Lett., 104(10), 102002–8pp.
Abstract: We report a measurement of the lifetime of the Lambda(0)(b) baryon in decays to the Lambda(+)(c)pi(-) final state in a sample corresponding to 1.1 fb(-1) collected in p (p) over bar collisions at root s = 1.96 TeV by the CDF II detector at the Tevatron collider. Using a sample of about 3000 fully reconstructed Lambda(0)(b) events we measure tau(Lambda(0)(b) ) = 1.401 +/- 0.046(stat) +/- 0.035(syst) ps (corresponding to c tau(Lambda(0)(b)) = 420.1 +/- 13.7(stat) +/- 10.6(syst) μm, where c is the speed of light). The ratio of this result and the world average B-0 lifetime yields tau(Lambda(0)(b))/tau(B-0) = 0.918 +/- 0.038 (stat) and (syst), in good agreement with recent theoretical predictions.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Azzolini, V., Lopez-March, N., Martinez-Vidal, F., Milanes, D. A., & Oyanguren, A. (2010). Measurement of the gamma gamma* -> eta c transition form factor. Phys. Rev. D, 81(5), 052010–18pp.
Abstract: We study the reaction e(+)e(-) -> e(+)e(-) eta(c), eta(c) -> KSK +/-pi(-/+) and obtain eta(c) mass and width values 2982.2 +/- 0.4 +/- 1.6 MeV/c(2) and 31.7 +/- 1.2 +/- 0.8 MeV, respectively. We find Gamma(eta(c) -> gamma gamma)B(eta(c) -> KK pi) = 0.374 +/- 0.009 +/- 0.031 keV, and measure the gamma gamma* -> eta(c) transition form factor in the momentum transfer range from 2 to 50 GeV2. The analysis is based on 469 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected at PEP-II with the BABAR detector at e(+)e(-) center-of-mass energies near 10.6 GeV.

Pierre Auger Collaboration(Abraham, J. et al), & Pastor, S. (2010). Measurement of the energy spectrum of cosmic rays above 10(18) eV using the Pierre Auger Observatory. Phys. Lett. B, 685(4-5), 239–246.
Abstract: We report a measurement of the flux of cosmic rays with unprecedented precision and Statistics using the Pierre Auger Observatory Based on fluorescence observations in coincidence with at least one Surface detector we derive a spectrum for energies above 10(18) eV We also update the previously published energy spectrum obtained with the surface detector array The two spectra are combined addressing the systematic uncertainties and, in particular. the influence of the energy resolution on the spectral shape The spectrum can be described by a broken power law E-gamma with index gamma = 3 3 below the ankle which is measured at log(10)(E-ankle/eV) = 18 6 Above the ankle the spectrum is described by a power law with index 2 6 followed by a flux suppression, above about log(10)(E/eV) = 19 5, detected with high statistical significance.

Pierre Auger Collaboration(Abraham, J. et al), & Pastor, S. (2010). Measurement of the Depth of Maximum of Extensive Air Showers above 10(18) eV. Phys. Rev. Lett., 104(9), 091101–7pp.
Abstract: We describe the measurement of the depth of maximum, X-max, of the longitudinal development of air showers induced by cosmic rays. Almost 4000 events above 10(18) eV observed by the fluorescence detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory in coincidence with at least one surface detector station are selected for the analysis. The average shower maximum was found to evolve with energy at a rate of (106 +/- 35-21) g/cm(2)/decade below 10(18.24) +/- (0.05) eV, and d24 +/- 3 g/cm(2)/ecade above this energy. The measured shower-to-shower fluctuations decrease from about 55 to 26 g/cm(2). The interpretation of these results in terms of the cosmic ray mass composition is briefly discussed.
