ATLAS Collaboration(Aaboud, M. et al), Alvarez Piqueras, D., Barranco Navarro, L., Cabrera Urban, S., Castillo Gimenez, V., Cerda Alberich, L., et al. (2017). Search for new resonances decaying to a W or Z boson and a Higgs boson in the l(+)l(-)b(b)over-bar, l nu b(b)over-bar, and nu(nu)over-barb(b)over-bar channels with pp collisions at root s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector. Phys. Lett. B, 765, 32–52.
Abstract: A search is presented for new resonances decaying to a W or Z boson and a Higgs boson in the l(+)l(-)b (b) over bar, l nu b (b) over bar, and nu(nu) over barb (b) over bar channels in pp collisions at root s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider using a total integrated luminosity of 3.2 fb(-1). The search is conducted by looking for a localized excess in the WH/ZH invariant or transverse mass distribution. No significant excess is observed, and the results are interpreted in terms of constraints on a simplified model based on a phenomenological Lagrangian of heavy vector triplets.

Search for new physics in the dijet mass distribution using 1 fb(-1) of pp collision data at root s=7 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector. Phys. Lett. B, 708(1-2), 37–54.
Abstract: Invariant mass distributions of jet pairs (dijets) produced in LHC proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy root s = 7 TeV have been studied using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1) recorded in 2011 by ATLAS. Dijet masses up to similar to 4 TeV are observed in the data, and no evidence of resonance production over background is found. Limits are set at 95% C.L. for several new physics hypotheses: excited quarks are excluded for masses below 299 TeV, axigluons are excluded for masses below 3.32 TeV. and colour octet scalar resonances are excluded for masses below 1.92 TeV.

Search for new phenomena with the monojet and missing transverse momentum signature using the ATLAS detector in root s=7 TeV proton-proton collisions. Phys. Lett. B, 705(4), 294–312.
Abstract: A search for new phenomena in events featuring a high energy jet and large missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at root s = 7 TeV is presented using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 33 pb(-1) recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The number of observed events is consistent with the Standard Model prediction. This result is interpreted in terms of limits on a model of Large Extra Dimensions.

ATLAS Collaboration(Aad, G. et al), Alvarez Piqueras, D., Barranco Navarro, L., Cabrera Urban, S., Castillo Gimenez, V., Cerda Alberich, L., et al. (2016). Search for new phenomena with photon plus jet events in proton-proton collisions at TeV with the ATLAS detector. J. High Energy Phys., 03(3), 041–37pp.
Abstract: A search is performed for the production of high-mass resonances decaying into a photon and a jet in 3.2 fb(-1) of proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Selected events have an isolated photon and a jet, each with transverse momentum above 150 GeV. No significant deviation of the gamma+jet invariant mass distribution from the background-only hypothesis is found. Limits are set at 95% confidence level on the cross sections of generic Gaussian-shaped signals and of a few benchmark phenomena beyond the Standard Model: excited quarks with vector-like couplings to the Standard Model particles, and non-thermal quantum black holes in two models of extra spatial dimensions. The minimum excluded visible cross sections for Gaussian-shaped resonances with width-to-mass ratios of 2% decrease from about 6 fb for a mass of 1.5 TeV to about 0.8 fb for a mass of 5 TeV. The minimum excluded visible cross sections for Gaussian-shaped resonances with width-to-mass ratios of 15% decrease from about 50 fb for a mass of 1.5 TeV to about 1.0 fb for a mass of 5 TeV. Excited quarks are excluded below masses of 4.4 TeV, and non-thermal quantum black holes are excluded below masses of 3.8 (6.2) TeV for Randall-Sundrum (Arkani-Hamed-Dimopoulous-Dvali) models with one (six) extra dimensions.

Search for new phenomena in the WW -> vertical bar v vertical bar ' v ' final state in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector. Phys. Lett. B, 718(3), 860–878.
Abstract: This Letter reports a search for a heavy particle that decays to WW using events produced in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV. The data were recorded in 2011 by the ATLAS detector and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb(-1). WW -> lvl'v' (l,l' = e or mu) final states are considered and the distribution of the transverse mass of the W W candidates is found to be consistent with Standard Model expectations. Upper limits on the production cross section times branching ratio into W boson pairs are set for Randall-Sundrum and bulk Randall-Sundrum gravitons, which result in observed 95% CL lower limits on the masses of the two particles of 1.23 TeV and 0.84 TeV, respectively.
