Search for chargino and neutralino production in final states with a Higgs boson and missing transverse momentum at root s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector. Phys. Rev. D, 100(1), 012006–37pp.
Abstract: A search is conducted for the electroweak pair production of a chargino and a neutralino pp -> (chi) over tilde (+/-)(1)(chi) over tilde (0)(2), where the chargino decays into the lightest neutralino and a W boson, (chi) over tilde (+/-)(1) -> (chi) over tilde W-0(1)+/- while the neutralino decays into the lightest neutralino and a Standard Model-like 125 GeV Higgs boson,(chi) over tilde (0)(2) -> (chi) over tilde (0)(1)h. Fully hadronic, semileptonic, diphoton, and multilepton (electrons, muons) final. states with missing transverse momentum are considered in this search. Higgs bosons in the final state are identified by either two jets originating from bottom quarks (h -> b (b) over bar), two photons (h -> gamma gamma), or leptons from the decay modes h -> WW, h -> ZZ or h -> tau tau. The analysis is based on 36.1 fb(-1) of s root s = 13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Observations are consistent with the Standard Model expectations, and 95% confidence-level limits of up to 680 GeV in (chi) over tilde (+/-)(1)/(chi) over tilde (0)(2) mass are set in the context of a simplified supersymmetric model.

LHCb Collaboration(Aaij, R. et al), Garcia Martin, L. M., Henry, L., Jashal, B. K., Martinez-Vidal, F., Oyanguren, A., et al. (2019). Search for CP Violation in D-s(+) -> K-S(0)pi(+), D+ -> (KSK+)-K-0, and D+ -> phi pi(+) Decays. Phys. Rev. Lett., 122(19), 191803–11pp.
Abstract: A search for charge-parity (CP) violation in Cabibbo-suppressed D-s(+) -> K-S(0)pi(+), D+ -> (KSK+)-K-0, and D+ -> phi pi(+) decays is reported using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.8 fb(-1), collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. High-yield samples of kinematically and topologically similar Cabibbo-favored D-(s())+ decays are analyzed to subtract nuisance asymmetries due to production and detection effects, including those induced by CP violation in the neutral kaon system. The results are A(CP)(D-s(+) -> K-S(0)pi(+)) = (1.3 +/- 1.9 +/- 0.5) x 10(-3), A(CP)(D+ -> (KSK+)-K-0) = (-0.09 +/- 0.65 +/- 0.48) x 10(-3), A(CP)(D+ -> phi pi(+)) = (0.05 +/- 0.42 +/- 0.29) x 10(-3), where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. They are the most precise measurements of these quantities to date, and are consistent with CP symmetry. A combination with previous LHCb measurements, based on data collected at 7 and 8 TeV, is also reported.

LHCb Collaboration(Aaij, R. et al), Garcia Martin, L. M., Henry, L., Jashal, B. K., Martinez-Vidal, F., Oyanguren, A., et al. (2019). Search for CP violation through an amplitude analysis of D-0 K+K-+- decays. J. High Energy Phys., 02(2), 126–34pp.
Abstract: A search for CP violation in the Cabibbo-suppressed D-0 K+K-+- decay mode is performed using an amplitude analysis. The measurement uses a sample of pp collisions recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2011 and 2012, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1). The D-0 mesons are reconstructed from semileptonic b-hadron decays into D0-X final states. The selected sample contains more than 160 000 signal decays, allowing the most precise amplitude modelling of this D-0 decay to date. The obtained amplitude model is used to perform the search for CP violation. The result is compatible with CP symmetry, with a sensitivity ranging from 1% to 15% depending on the amplitude considered.

ATLAS Collaboration(Aad, G. et al), Alvarez Piqueras, D., Aparisi Pozo, J. A., Bailey, A. J., Cabrera Urban, S., Castillo, F. L., et al. (2019). Search for diboson resonances in hadronic final states in 139 fb(-1) of pp collisions at root s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector. J. High Energy Phys., 09(9), 091–43pp.
Abstract: Narrow resonances decaying into WW, WZ or ZZ boson pairs are searched for in 139 fb(-1) of proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider from 2015 to 2018. The diboson system is reconstructed using pairs of high transverse momentum, large-radius jets. These jets are built from a combination of calorimeter- and tracker-inputs compatible with the hadronic decay of a boosted W or Z boson, using jet mass and substructure properties. The search is performed for diboson resonances with masses greater than 1.3 TeV. No significant deviations from the background expectations are observed. Exclusion limits at the 95% confidence level are set on the production cross-section times branching ratio into dibosons for resonances in a range of theories beyond the Standard Model, with the highest excluded mass of a new gauge boson at 3.8 TeV in the context of mass-degenerate resonances that couple predominantly to gauge bosons.

ATLAS Collaboration(Aaboud, M. et al), Alvarez Piqueras, D., Aparisi Pozo, J. A., Bailey, A. J., Barranco Navarro, L., Cabrera Urban, S., et al. (2019). Search for doubly charged scalar bosons decaying into same-sign W boson pairs with the ATLAS detector. Eur. Phys. J. C, 79(1), 58–30pp.
Abstract: A search for doubly charged scalar bosons decaying into W boson pairs is presented. It uses a data sample from proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.1fb-1 collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV in 2015 and 2016. This search is guided by a model that includes an extension of the Higgs sector through a scalar triplet, leading to a rich phenomenology that includes doubly charged scalar bosons H +/-+/-. Those bosons are produced in pairs in proton-proton collisions and decay predominantly into electroweak gauge bosons H +/-+/- W +/- W +/-. Experimental signatures with several leptons, missing transverse energy and jets are explored. No significant deviations from the Standard Model predictions are found. The parameter space of the benchmark model is excluded at 95% confidence level for H +/-+/- bosons with masses between 200 and 220 GeV.
