  Abstract The first measurement of CP asymmetries in the decay B-s(0) -> J/psi(K) over bar*(892)(0) and an updated measurement of its branching fraction and polarisation fractions are presented. The results are obtained using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb (-1) of proton-proton collisions recorded with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. Together with constraints from B-0 -> J/psi rho(0), the results are used to constrain additional contributions due to penguin diagrams in the CP-violating phase phi(s), measured through B-s(0) decays to charmonium.

  Abstract An analysis of B-0 --> DK*(0) decays is presented, where D represents an admixture of D-0 and (D) over bar (0) mesons reconstructed in four separate final states: K-pi(+), pi K--(+), K+K- and pi(+)pi(-). The data sample corresponds to 3.0 fb(-1) of proton-proton collision, collected by the LHCb experiment. Measurements of several observables are performed, including CP asymmetries. The most precise determination is presented of r(B)(DK*(0)), the magnitude of the ratio of the amplitudes of the decay B-0 --> DK+pi(-) with a b --> u or a b --> c transition, in a K pi mass region of +/- 50 MeV/c(2) around the K*(892) mass and for an absolute value of the cosine of the K*(0) helicity angle larger than 0.4.

  Abstract An angular analysis of the B-0 -> K-0 (-> K+pi(-))mu(+)mu(-) decay is presented using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb(-1) of pp collision data collected with the LHCb experiment. The full set of CP-averaged observables are determined in bins of the invariant mass squared of the dimuon system. Contamination from decays with the K+ pi(-) system in an S-wave configuration is taken into account. The tension seen between the previous LHCb results and the standard model predictions persists with the new data. The precise value of the significance of this tension depends on the choice of theory nuisance parameters.

  Abstract A time-dependent analysis of the B-s(0) -> phi gamma decay rate is performed to determine the CP -violating observables S-phi gamma and C-phi gamma and the mixing-induced observable A(phi gamma)(Delta). The measurement is based on a sample of pp collision data recorded with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The measured values are S-phi gamma = 0.43 +/- 0.30 +/- 0.11, C-phi gamma = 0.11 +/- 0.29 +/- 0.11, and A(phi gamma)(Delta) = -0.67(-0.41)(+0.37) +/- 0.17, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This is the first measurement of the observables S and C in radiative B-s(0) decays. The results are consistent with the standard model predictions.

  Abstract We present results for a time-dependent Dalitz plot measurement of CP-violating asymmetries in the mode B-0 -> pi(+)pi(-)pi(0). The data set is derived from the complete sample of 471 x 10(6) B (B) over bar meson pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory operating on the Upsilon(4S) resonance. We extract parameters describing the time-dependent B-0 -> rho pi decay probabilities and CP asymmetries, including C = 0.016 +/- 0.059 +/- 0.036, Delta C = 0.234 +/- 0.061 +/- 0.048, S = 0.053 +/- 0.081 +/- 0.034, and Delta S = 0.054 +/- 0.082 +/- 0.039, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. We perform a two-dimensional likelihood scan of the direct CP-violation asymmetry parameters for B-0 -> rho(+/-)pi(-/+) decays, finding the change in chi(2) between the minimum and the origin (corresponding to no direct CP violation) to be Delta chi(2) = 6.42. We present information on the CP-violating parameter alpha in a likelihood scan that incorporates B-+/- -> rho pi measurements. To aid in the interpretation of our results, statistical robustness studies are performed to assess the reliability with which the true values of the physics parameters can be extracted. Significantly, these studies indicate that alpha cannot be reliably extracted with our current sample size, though the other physics parameters are robustly extracted.
