Abstract |
A search is performed for the charmless three-body decays of the Lambda(0)(b) and Xi(0)(b) baryons to the final states Lambda h(+)h'(-), where h(') = pi or K. The analysis is based on a data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb-1 of pp collisions, collected by the LHCb experiment. The Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda K+pi(-) and Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda K+K- decays are observed for the first time and their branching fractions and CP asymmetry parameters are measured. Evidence is seen for the Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda pi(+)pi(-) decay and limits are set on the branching fractions of Xi(0)(b) baryon decays to the Lambda h(+)h(-) final states. |

Abstract |
The suppressed decay Lambda(0)(b) -> p pi(-) mu(+) mu(-), excluding the J/psi and psi(2S) -> mu(+) mu(-) resonances, is observed for the first time with a significance of 5.5 standard deviations. The analysis is performed with proton- proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) collected with the LHCb experiment. The Lambda(0)(b) -> p pi(-) mu(+) mu(-) branching fraction is measured relative to the Lambda(0)(b) -> J/psi (-> mu(+) mu(-)) p pi(-) branching fraction giving B (Lambda(0)(b) -> p pi(-) mu(+) mu(-))/B(Lambda(0)(b) -> J/psi (-> mu(+) mu(-)) p pi(-)) = 0.044 +/- 0.012 +/- 0.007, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This is the first observation of a b -> d transition in a baryonic decay. |

Abstract |
The Cabibbo-suppressed semileptonic decay B+-> pp over bar mu+nu μis observed for the first time using a sample of pp collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0, 2.0 and 1.7 fb at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13TeV, respectively. The differential branching fraction is measured as a function of the pp invariant mass using the decay mode B+ ! J= K+ for normalisation. The total branching fraction is measured to be B (B+ ! pp+) = (5:27+0:23 0:21 0:15) 10 where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third is from the uncertainty on the branching fraction of the normalisation channel. |

Abstract |
Using proton-proton collision data, collected with the LHCb detector and corresponding to 1.0, 2.0 and 1.9 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity at the centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, respectively, the decay Lambda(0)(b) -> chi(c1)(3872)pK(-) with chi(c1)(3872) -> J/psi pi(+)pi(-) is observed for the first time. The significance of the observed signal is in excess of seven standard deviations. It is found that (58 +/- 15)% of the decays proceed via the two-body intermediate state chi(c1)(3872)Lambda(1520). The branching fraction with respect to that of the Lambda(0)(b) -> psi(2S)pK(-) decay mode, where the psi(2S) meson is reconstructed in the J/psi pi(+)pi(-) final state, is measured to be: B(Lambda(0)(b) -> chi(c1)(3872)pK(-))/B (Lambda(0)(b) -> psi(2S)pK(-)) x B(chi(c1)(3872) -> J/psi pi(+)pi(-))/B(psi(2S) -> J/psi pi(+)pi(-)) = (5.4 +/- 1.1 +/- 0.2) x 10(-2), where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. |

Abstract |
The doubly Cabibbo- suppressed decay Xi(+)(c) -> p phi with ! K+K is observed for the fi rst time, with a statistical signi fi cance of more than fi fteen standard deviations. The data sample used in this analysis corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 2 fb recorded with the LHCb detector in pp collisions at a centre- of- mass energy of 8TeV. The ratio of branching fractions between the decay + c ! p and the singly Cabibbo- suppressed decay + c ! pK is measured to be B (Xi(+)(c) -> p phi) B (Xi(+)(c) -> p phi) = (19 : 8 0 : 7 0 : 9 0 : 2) 10 where the fi rst uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third due to the knowledge of the Xi(+)(c) -> pK(+)pi(+) branching fraction. |

Abstract |
A search for CP violation in the decay Lambda(0)(b) -> pK(-)mu(+)mu(-) is presented. This decay is mediated by flavour-changing neutral-current transitions in the Standard Model and is potentially sensitive to new sources of CP violation. The study is based on a data sample of proton-proton collisions recorded with the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1). The Lambda(0)(b) -> pK(-)mu(+)mu(-) decay is observed for the first time, and two observables that are sensitive to different manifestations of CP violation are measured, Delta A(CP) equivalent to A(CP) (Lambda(0)(b) -> pK(-)mu(+)mu(-)) – A(CP) (Lambda(0)(b) -> pK(-)J/psi) and a(CP)((T) over cap -odd), where the latter is based on asymmetries in the angle between the mu(+)mu(-) and pK(-) decay planes. These are measured to be Delta A(CP) = (-3.5 +/- 5.0 (stat) +/- 0.2 (syst)) x 10(-2), a(CP)((T) over cap -odd) = (1.2 +/- 5.0 (stat) +/- 0.7 (syst)) x 10(-2), and no evidence for CP violation is found. |

Abstract |
A study of B-s(0) -> eta(c)phi and B-s(0) -> eta(c)pi(+)pi(-) decays is performed using pp collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1), collected with the LHCb detector in Run 1 of the LHC. The observation of the decay B-s(0) -> eta(c)phi is reported, where the eta(c) meson is reconstructed in the p (p) over bar, K+K-pi(+)pi(-), pi(+)pi(-)pi(+)pi-and K+K-K+K-decay modes and the phi(1020) in the K+K-decay mode. The decay B-s(0) -> J/psi phi is used as a normalisation channel. Evidence is also reported for the decay B-s(0) -> eta(c)pi(+)pi(-), where the eta(c) meson is reconstructed in the p (p) over bar decay mode, using the decay B-s(0) -> J/psi phi pi(+)pi-as a normalisation channel. The measured branching fractions are B(B-s(0) -> eta(c)phi) = (5 : 01 +/- 0 : 53 +/- 0 : 27 +/- 0 : 63) x 10(-4), B(B-s(0) -> eta(c)pi(+)pi(-)) = (1 : 76 +/- 0 : 59 +/- 0 : 12 +/- 0 : 29) x 10(-4), where in each case the fi rst uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third uncertainty is due to the limited knowledge of the external branching fractions. |

Abstract |
The (B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c2) K+ K- decay mode is observed and its branching fraction relative to the corresponding chi(c1) decay mode, in a +/- 15MeV/c(2) window around the phi mass, is found to be B ((B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c2) K+ K-)/B((B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c1) K+ K-) = (17.1 +/- 3.1 +/- 0.4 +/- 0.9)% where the fi rst uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third due to the knowledge of the branching fractions of radiative chi(c) decays. The decay mode (B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c1) K+ K- allows the B-s(0) mass to be measured as m(B-s(0)) = 5366.83 +/- 0.25 +/- 0.27MeV/c(2), where the fi rst uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.
