Abstract |
A search is presented for the lepton flavour violating decay B+ -> K+mu (-)tau (+) using a sample of proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, collected with the LHCb detector and corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). The tau leptons are selected inclusively, primarily via decays with a single charged particle. The four-momentum of the tau lepton is determined by using B+ mesons from Bs20 -> B+K- decays. No significant excess is observed, and an upper limit is set on the branching fractionB(B+-> K+mu (-)tau (+))<3.9x10(-5)at90%confidence level.The obtained limit is comparable to the world-best limit. |

Abstract |
A search for the lepton-flavour violating decays B-(s)(0) -> e(+/-)mu(-/+) and B-(s)(0) -> e(+/-)mu(-/+) performed based on a sample of proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1), collected with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8TeV. The observed yields are consistent with the background-only hypothesis. Upper limits on the branching fraction of the B-(s)(0) -> e(+/-)mu(-/+) decays are evaluated both in the hypotheses of an amplitude completely dominated by the heavy eigenstate and by the light eigenstate. The results are B(B-s(0) -> e(+/-)mu(-/+)) < 6.3 (5.4) x 10(-9) and B(B-s(0) -> e(+/-)mu(-/+)) < 7.2(6.0) x 10(-9) at 95% (90%) confidence level, respectively. The upper limit on the branching fraction of the B-0 -> e(+/-)mu(-/+) decay is also evaluated, obtaining B(B-0 -> e(+/-)mu(-/+)) < 1.3 (1.0) x 10(-9) at 95% (90%) confidence level. These are the strongest limits on these decays to date. |

Abstract |
A first search for the lepton-flavour violating decays B-0 -> K*0 tau(+/-)mu -/+ is presented. The analysis is performed using a sample of proton-proton collision data, collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13TeV between 2011 and 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). No significant signal is observed, and upper limits on the branching fractions are determined to be B(B-0 -> K*0 tau(+)mu(-)) < 1.0 (1.2) x 10(-5) and B(B-0 -> K*0 tau(-)mu(+)) < 8.2 (9.8) x 10(-6) at the 90% (95%) confidence level. |

Abstract |
A search for the lepton-flavour violating decays B-0 -> K-*0 μe(-/+) and B-s(0)-> mu(+/-)e(-/+) is presented, using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). No significant signals are observed and upper limits of are set at 90% (95%) confidence level. These results constitute the world's most stringent limits to date, with the limit on the decay B-s(0) -> phi mu(+/-) e(-/+) the first being set. In addition, limits are reported for scalar and left-handed lepton-flavour violating New Physics scenarios. |

Abstract |
The first search for the rare radiative decay Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)gamma is performed using data collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb(-1). The Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)-J/ psi channel is used as normalization. No Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)gamma signal is found and an upper limit of B(Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)gamma) < 1.3 x 10(-4) at 95% confidence level is obtained. |
