NOMAD Collaboration(Samoylov, O. et al), Cervera-Villanueva, A., Gomez-Cadenas, J. J., & Hernando, J. (2013). A precision measurement of charm dimuon production in neutrino interactions from the NOMAD experiment. Nucl. Phys. B, 876(2), 339–375.
Abstract: We present our new measurement of the cross-section for charm dimuon production in neutrino iron interactions based upon the full statistics collected by the NOMAD experiment. After background subtraction we observe 15 344 charm dimuon events, providing the largest sample currently available. The analysis exploits the large inclusive charged current sample – about 9 x 10(6) events after all analysis cuts – and the high resolution NOMAD detector to constrain the total systematic uncertainty on the ratio of charm dimuon to inclusive Charged Current (CC) cross-sections to similar to 2%. We also perform a fit to the NOMAD data to extract the charm production parameters and the strange quark sea content of the nucleon within the NLO QCD approximation. We obtain a value of m(c)(m(c)) = 1.159 +/- 0.075 GeV/c(2) for the running mass of the charm quark in the (MS) over bar scheme and a strange quark sea suppression factor of kappa(s) = 0.591 +/- 0.019 at Q(2) = 20 GeV2/c(2).

Gonzalez Felipe, R., & Serodio, H. (2014). Abelian realization of phenomenological two-zero neutrino textures. Nucl. Phys. B, 886, 75–92.
Abstract: In an attempt at explaining the observed neutrino mass-squared differences and leptonic mixing, lepton mass matrices with zero textures have been widely studied. In the weak basis where the charged lepton mass matrix is diagonal, various neutrino mass matrices with two zeros have been shown to be consistent with the current experimental data. Using the canonical and Smith normal form methods, we construct the minimal Abelian symmetry realizations of these phenomenological two-zero neutrino textures. The implementation of these symmetries in the context of the seesaw mechanism for Majorana neutrino masses is also discussed.

Abstract: It is shown that the action of the bosonic sector of D= 11supergravity may be obtained by means of a suitable scaling of the originally dimensionless fields of a generalized Chern-Simons action. This follows from the eleven-form CS-potential of the most general linear combination of closed, gauge invariant twelve-forms involving the sp(32)-valued two-form curvatures supplemented by a three-form field. In this construction, the role of the skewsymmetric four-index auxiliary function needed for the first order formulation of D= 11supergravity is played by the gauge field associated with the five Lorentz indices generator of the bosonic sp(32) subalgebra of osp(1|32).

Das, A., & Mandal, S. (2021). Bounds on the triplet fermions in type-III seesaw and implications for collider searches. Nucl. Phys. B, 966, 115374–33pp.
Abstract: Type-III seesaw is a simple extension of the Standard Model (SM) with the SU(2)(L) triplet fermion with zero hypercharge. It can explain the origin of the tiny neutrino mass and flavor mixing. After the electroweak symmetry breaking the light neutrino mass is generated by the seesaw mechanism which further ensures the mixings between the light neutrino and heavy neutral lepton mass eigenstates. If the triplet fermions are around the electroweak scale having sizable mixings with the SM sector allowed by the correct gauge symmetry, they can be produced at the high energy colliders leaving a variety of characteristic signatures. Based on a simple and concrete realizations of the model we employ a general parametrization for the neutrino Dirac mass matrix and perform a parameter scan to identify the allowed regions satisfying the experimental constraints from the neutrino oscillation data, the electroweak precision measurements and the lepton-flavor violating processes, respectively considering the normal and inverted neutrino mass hierarchies. These parameter regions can be probed at the different collider experiments.

Abstract: Employing background-field method and super-heat-kernel expansion, we compute the complete oneloop renormalization of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian with a light Higgs boson. Earlier results from purely scalar fluctuations are confirmed as a special case. We also recover the one-loop renormalization of the conventional Standard Model in the appropriate limit.

Abstract: A class of discrete flavor-symmetry-based models predicts constrained neutrino mass matrix schemes that lead to specific neutrino mass sum-rules (MSR). We show how these theories may constrain the absolute scale of neutrino mass, leading in most of the cases to a lower bound on the neutrinoless double beta decay effective amplitude.

Kittel, O., & Pilaftsis, A. (2012). CP violation in correlated production and decay of unstable particles. Nucl. Phys. B, 856(3), 682–697.
Abstract: We study resonant CP-violating Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen correlations that may take place in the production and decay of unstable scalar particles at high-energy colliders. We show that as a consequence of unitarity and CPT invariance of the S-matrix, in 2 -> 2 scatterings mediated by mixed scalar particles, at least three linearly independent decay matrices associated with the unstable scalar states are needed to obtain non-zero CP-odd observables that are also odd under C-conjugation. Instead, for the correlated production and decay of two unstable particle systems in 2 -> 4 processes, we find that only two independent decay matrices are sufficient to induce a net non-vanishing CP-violating phenomenon. As an application of this theorem, we present numerical estimates of CP asymmetries for the correlated production and decay of supersymmetric scalar top anti-top pairs at the LHC, and demonstrate that these could reach values of order one. As a byproduct of our analysis, we develop a novel spinorial trace technique, which enables us to efficiently evaluate lengthy expressions of squared amplitudes describing the resonant scalar transitions.

Abstract: We use the expansion of superalgebras procedure (summarized in the text) to derive Chem-Simons (CS) actions for the (p, q)-Poincare supergravities in three-dimensional spacetimes. After deriving the action for the (p, 0)-Poincare supergravity as a CS theory for the expansion osp(p vertical bar 2: R)(2, 1) of osp(p vertical bar 2: R), we find the general (p, q)-Poincare superalgebras and their associated D = 3 supergravity actions as CS gauge theories from an expansion of the simple osp(p + q vertical bar 2, R) superalgebras, namely osp(p + q vertical bar 2, R)(2, 1, 2).

Bernabeu, J., Di Domenico, A., & Villanueva-Perez, P. (2013). Direct test of time reversal symmetry in the entangled neutral kaon system at a phi-factory. Nucl. Phys. B, 868(1), 102–119.
Abstract: We present a novel method to perform a direct T (time reversal) symmetry test in the neutral kaon system, independent of any CP and/or CPT symmetry tests. This is based on the comparison of suitable transition probabilities, where the required interchange of in <-> out states for a given process is obtained exploiting the Einstein-Podolski-Rosen correlations of neutral kaon pairs produced at a phi-factory. In the time distribution between the two decays, we compare a reference transition like the one defined by the time-ordered decays (l(-), pi pi) with the T-conjugated one defined by (3 pi(0), l(+)). With the use of this and other T-conjugated comparisons, the KLOE-2 experiment at DA Phi NE could make a statistically significant test.

Abstract: The dynamics of isolated-photon plus jet production in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV has been studied with the ATLAS detector at the LHC using an integrated luminosity of 37 pb(-1). Measurements of isolated-photon plus jet bin-averaged cross sections are presented as functions of photon transverse energy, jet transverse momentum and jet rapidity. In addition, the bin-averaged cross sections as functions of the difference between the azimuthal angles of the photon and the jet, the photon jet invariant mass and the scattering angle in the photon jet centre-of-mass frame have been measured. Next-to-leading-order QCD calculations are compared to the measurements and provide a good description of the data, except for the case of the azimuthal opening angle.
