Title (up) Hall-Post inequalities: Review and application to molecules and tetraquarks Type Journal Article
Year 2020 Publication Annals of Physics Abbreviated Journal Ann. Phys.
Volume 412 Issue Pages 168009 - 32pp
Keywords Hall-Post inequality; Few Body; Molecule; Quark model; Baryons; Tetraquark
Abstract A review is presented of the Hall-Post inequalities that give lower-bounds to the ground-state energy of quantum systems in terms of energies of smaller systems. New applications are given for systems experiencing both a static source and inner interactions, as well as for hydrogen-like molecules and for tetraquarks in some quark models. In the latter case, the Hall-Post inequalities constrain the possibility of deeply-bound exotic mesons below the threshold for dissociation into two quark-antiquark mesons. We also emphasize the usefulness of the Hall-Post bounds in terms of 3-body energies when some 2-body subsystems are ill defined or do not support any bound state.

Title (up) Hyperfine mixing in electromagnetic decay of doubly heavy bc baryons Type Journal Article
Year 2010 Publication Physics Letters B Abbreviated Journal Phys. Lett. B
Volume 690 Issue 3 Pages 265-271
Keywords Hyperfine mixing; Double heavy bc baryons
Abstract We investigate the role of hyperfine mixing in the electromagnetic decay of ground state doubly heavy bc baryons. As in the case of a previous calculation on b -> c semileptonic decays of doubly heavy baryons, we find large corrections to the electromagnetic decay widths due to this mixing. Contrary to the weak case just mentioned, we find here that one cannot use electromagnetic width relations obtained in the infinite heavy quark mass limit to experimentally extract information on the admixtures in a model independent way.

Title (up) Measurement of Xi(++)(cc) production in pp collisions at root s=13 TeV Type Journal Article
Year 2020 Publication Chinese Physics C Abbreviated Journal Chin. Phys. C
Volume 44 Issue 2 Pages 022001 - 11pp
Keywords doubly charmed baryons; hadron production; QCD
Abstract The production of Xi(++)(cc) baryons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 13 Tev is measured in the transverse-momentum range 4 < p(T) < 15 GeV/c and the rapidity range 2.0 < y < 4.5. The data used in this measurement correspond to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb(-1), recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2016. The ratio of the Xi(++)(cc) production cross-section times the branching fraction of the Xi(++)(cc) -> Lambda K-+(c)-pi(+)pi(+) decay relative to the prompt Lambda(+)(c) production cross-section is found to be (2.22 +/- 0.27 +/- 0.29) x 10(-4), assuming the central value of the measured Xi(++)(cc) lifetime, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

Title (up) QCD sum rules for the coupling constants of vector mesons to octet baryons Type Journal Article
Year 2013 Publication Moscow University Physics Bulletin Abbreviated Journal Mosc. Univ. Phys. Bull.
Volume 68 Issue 3 Pages 205-209
Keywords quantum chromodynamics; sum rules; baryons; vector mesons; Borel interval
Abstract The QCD sum rules on the light cone proposed by Wang for the coupling constants of the rho meson are generalized to the vector mesons omega and phi and all octet baryons, the I >-hyperon included. A comparison with other results is given.

Title (up) Search for the doubly charmed baryon Omega(+)(cc) Type Journal Article
Year 2021 Publication Science China-Physics Mechanics & Astronomy Abbreviated Journal Sci. China-Phys. Mech. Astron.
Volume 64 Issue 10 Pages 101062 - 12pp
Keywords charmed baryons; limits on production of particles; charmed quarks; experimental tests
Abstract A search for the doubly charmed baryon Omega(+)(cc) with the decay mode Omega(+)(cc) -> Xi K-+(c)-pi(+) is performed using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the LHCb experiment from 2016 to 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb(-1). No significant signal is observed within the invariant mass range of 3.6 to 4.0GeV/c(2). Upper limits are set on the ratio R of the production cross-section times the total branching fraction of the Omega(+)(cc) -> Xi K-+(c)-pi(+) decay with respect to the Xi(++)(cc) -> Lambda K-+(c)-pi(+)pi(+) decay. Upper limits at 95% credibility level for R in the range 0.005 to 0.11 are obtained for different hypotheses on the Omega(+)(cc) mass and lifetime in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and transverse momentum range from 4 to 15 GeV/c.
