Title Generalized screened potential model Type Journal Article
Year 2014 Publication Journal of Physics G Abbreviated Journal J. Phys. G
Volume 41 Issue 9 Pages 095001 - 12pp
Keywords quark; meson; potential
Abstract A new non relativistic quark model to calculate the spectrum of heavy quark mesons is developed. The model is based on an interquark potential interaction that implicitly incorporates screening effects from meson-meson configurations. An analysis of the bottomonium spectrum shows the appearance of extra states as compared to conventional non screened potential models.

Title Time-Reversal Violation Type
Year 2015 Publication Annual Review of Nuclear and Particle Science Abbreviated Journal Annu. Rev. Nucl. Part. Sci.
Volume 65 Issue Pages 403-427
Keywords time reversal; CP violation; T-odd products; electric dipole moments; B mesons; K mesons; EPR entanglement
Abstract The violation of CP symmetry between matter and antimatter in the neutral K and B meson systems is well established, with a high degree of consistency between all available experimental measurements and with the Standard Model of particle physics. On the basis of the up-to-now-unbroken CPT symmetry, the violation of CP symmetry strongly suggests that the behavior of these particles under weak interactions must also be asymmetric under time reversal T. Many searches for T violation have been performed and proposed using different observables and experimental approaches. These include T-odd observables, such as triple products in weak decays, and genuine observables, such as permanent electric dipole moments of nondegenerate stationary states and the breaking of the reciprocity relation. We discuss the conceptual basis of the required exchange of initial and final states with unstable particles, using quantum entanglement and the decay as a filtering measurement, for the case of neutral B and K mesons. Using this method, the BaBar experiment at SLAC has clearly observed T violation in B mesons.

Title Weak decays of heavy hadrons into dynamically generated resonances Type Journal Article
Year 2016 Publication International Journal of Modern Physics E Abbreviated Journal Int. J. Mod. Phys. E
Volume 25 Issue 1 Pages 1630001 - 105pp
Keywords Heavy meson and baryon weak decays; mesonic and baryonic resonances; final state interaction
Abstract In this paper, we present a review of recent works on weak decay of heavy mesons and baryons with two mesons, or a meson and a baryon, interacting strongly in the final state. The aim is to learn about the interaction of hadrons and how some particular resonances are produced in the reactions. It is shown that these reactions have peculiar features and act as filters for some quantum numbers which allow to identify easily some resonances and learn about their nature. The combination of basic elements of the weak interaction with the framework of the chiral unitary approach allow for an interpretation of results of many reactions and add a novel information to different aspects of the hadron interaction and the properties of dynamically generated resonances.

Title Chiral corrections to the 1(-+) exotic meson mass Type Journal Article
Year 2017 Publication Chinese Physics C Abbreviated Journal Chin. Phys. C
Volume 41 Issue 4 Pages 043101 - 12pp
Keywords exotic mesons; hybrid state; lattice QCD
Abstract We first construct the effective chiral Lagrangians for the 1(-+) exotic mesons. With the infrared regularization scheme, we derive the one-loop infrared singular chiral corrections to the pi(1) (1600) mass explicitly. We investigate the variation of the different chiral corrections with the pion mass under two schemes. Hopefully, the explicit non-analytical chiral structures will be helpful for the chiral extrapolation of lattice data from the dynamical lattice QCD simulation of either the exotic light hybrid meson or the tetraquark state.

Title A quark model study of strong decays of X(3915) Type Journal Article
Year 2017 Publication Journal of Physics G Abbreviated Journal J. Phys. G
Volume 44 Issue 7 Pages 075004 - 13pp
Keywords quark; meson; potential
Abstract Strong decays of X(3915) are analyzed from two quark model descriptions of X(3915), a conventional one in terms of the Cornell potential and an unconventional one from a generalized screened potential. We conclude that the experimental suppression of the OZI allowed decay X(3915) -> D (D) over bar might be explained in both cases due to the momentum dependence of the decay amplitude. However, the experimental significance of the OZI forbidden decay X(3915) -> omega J/psi could favor an unconventional description.
