Abstract: We study the B+J/K+ reaction, and show that it is driven by the presence of two resonances, the X(3940) and X(3930), that are of molecular nature and couple most strongly to D*D*, but also to J/. Because of that, in the J/ mass distribution we find a peak related to the excitation of the resonances and a cusp with large strength at the D*D* threshold.

Abstract: We study the J/psi -> K+K- f(0)(980)(a(0)(980)) reaction and find that the mechanism to produce this decay develops a triangle singularity around M-inv(K- f(0)/K- a(0)) approximate to 1515 MeV. The differential width d Gamma/dM(inv)(K- f(0)/K- a(0)) shows a rapid growth around the invariant mass being 1515 MeV as a consequence of the triangle singularity of this mechanism, which is directly tied to the nature of the f(0)(980) and a(0)(980) as dynamically generated resonances from the interaction of pseudoscalar mesons. The branching ratios obtained for the J/psi -> K+K- f(0)(980)(a(0)(980)) decays are of the order of 10(-5), accessible in present facilities, and we argue that their observation should provide relevant information concerning the nature of the low-lying scalar mesons.

Abstract: We have studied the meson-baryon interaction in coupled channels with the same quantum numbers of Xi bc. The interaction is attractive in some channels and of sufficient intensity to lead to bound states or resonances. We use a model describing the meson-baryon interaction based on an extrapolation of the local hidden gauge approach to the heavy sector, which has been successfully used in predicting omega c and hidden charm states. We obtain many states, some of them narrow or with zero width, as a consequence of the interaction, which qualify as molecular states in those channels. The success in related sectors of the picture used should encourage the experimental search for such states.

Abstract: We perform a calculation of the strong interaction effects between the B and D mesons in the B -> D nu l reaction, as a crossing process of reactions with BD in the final state, where the strong interaction between the mesons leads to a bound BD state. We find corrections to the tree level amplitude of the order of 15-25%. We further see the effect of the corrections studied in the R-D ratio for the rates of B -> D nu and B. D decays and find corrections of the order of 10%. Given the claims of 1.5% precision in this ratio from fits to data within the standardmodel, any theoretical model aiming at describing this ratio within the same precision must take into account the corrections described in the present work.

Abstract: We have performed an analysis of the e+e--> D(*) data in the region of the psi(4040) and psi(4160) resonances which have a substantial overlap and require special care. By using the P-3(0) model to relate the different D(*)(D) over bar(*) production modes, we make predictions for production of these channels and compare with experiment and other theoretical approaches. As a side effect we find that these resonances qualify largely as c (c) over bar states and theweight of the meson-meson components in the wave function is very small.
