Abstract: In this work we investigate the possibility of the formation of states from the dynamics involved in the D* D* D* system by considering that two D*'s generate a JP = 1+ bound state, with isospin 0, which has been predicted in an earlier theoretical work. We solve the Faddeev equations for this system within the fixed center approximation and find the existence of J(P) = 0(-), 1(-) and 2(-) states with charm 3, isospin 1/2, masses similar to 6000 MeV, which are manifestly exotic hadrons, i.e., with a multiquark inner structure.

Abstract: We extend the Fixed Center Approximation (FCA) to the Faddeev equations for the (K) over bar N N system with S = 0, including the charge exchange mechanisms in the (K) over bar rescattering which have been ignored in former works within the FCA. We obtain similar results to those found before, but the binding is reduced by 6 MeV. At the same time we also evaluate the explicit contribution the pi N Sigma intermediate state in the three body system and find that it produces and additional small decrease in the binding of about 3 MeV. The system appears bound by about 35 MeV and the width omitting two body absorption, is about 50 MeV.

Abstract: We present the Fixed Center Approximation (FCA) to the Faddeev equations for the (K) over bar NN system with S = 0, including the charge exchange mechanisms in the (K) over bar rescattering. The system appears bound by about 35 MeV and the width, omitting two body absorption, is about 50 MeV. We also evaluate the (K) over bar absorption width in the bound (K) over bar NN system by employing the FCA to account for (K) over bar rescattering on the NN cluster. The width of the states found previously for S = 0 and S = 1 is found now to increase by about 30 MeV due to the (K) over bar NN absorption, to a total value of about 80 MeV.

Abstract: We have investigated a charmed system of DNN (composed of two nucleons and a D meson) by a complementary study with a variational calculation and a Faddeev calculation with fixed-center approximation (Faddeev-FCA). In the present study, we employ a DN potential based on a vector-meson exchange picture in which a resonant A(c)(2595) is dynamically generated as a DN quasi-bound state, similarly to the A(1405) as a (K) over barN one in the strange sector. As a result of the study of variational calculation with an effective DN potential and three kinds of NN potentials, the DNN(J(pi) =0(-), I = 1/2) is found to be a narrow quasi-bound state below A(c)(2595)N threshold: total binding energy similar to 225 MeV and mesonic decay width similar to 25 MeV. On the other hand, the J(pi) =1(-) state is considered to be a scattering state of A(c)(2595) and a nucleon. These results are essentially supported by the Faddeev-FCA calculation. By the analysis of the variational wave function, we have found a unique structure in the DNN(J(pi) = 0, I = 1/2) such that the D meson stays around the center of the total system due to the heaviness of the D meson.

Abstract: We study the isospin breaking in the reactions chi(c1) -> pi(0)pi(+)pi(-) and chi(c1) -> pi(0)pi(0)eta and its relation to the a(0)(980) – f(0)(980) mixing, which was measured by the BESIII Collaboration. We show that the same theoretical model previously developed to study the chi(c1) -> eta pi(+)pi(-) reaction (also measured by BESIII), and further explored in the predictions to the eta(c) -> eta pi(+)pi(-), can be successfully employed in the present study. We assume that the chi(c1) behaves as an SU(3) singlet to find the weight in which trios of pseudoscalars are created, followed by the final state interaction of pairs of mesons to describe how the a(0)(980) and f(0)(980) are dynamically generated, using the chiral unitary approach in coupled channels. The isospin violation is introduced through the use of different masses for the charged and neutral kaons, either in the propagators of pairs of mesons created in the chi(c1) decay, or in the propagators inside the T matrix, constructed through the unitarization of the scattering and transition amplitudes of pairs of pseudoscalar mesons. We find that violating isospin inside the T matrix makes the pi(0)eta -> pi(+)pi(-) amplitude nonzero, which gives an important contribution and also enhances the effect of the K (K) over bar term. We also find that the most important effect in the total amplitude is the isospin breaking inside the T matrix, due to the constructive sum of pi(0)eta -> pi(+)pi(-) and K (K) over bar -> pi(+)pi(-), which is essential to get a good agreement with the experimental measurement of the mixing.

Abstract: We propose a method based on the moments of the D- K+ mass distribution in the B+ -> D+ D- K+ decay to disentangle the contribution of the 2(+) state, partner of X-0(2900) in the (D) over bar *K* picture for this resonance. Some of these moments show the interference patterns of the X-1(2900) and X-0(2900) with the 2(+) state, which provide a clearer signal of the 2(+) resonance than the 2(+) signal alone. The construction of these magnitudes from present data is easy to implement, and based on these data we show that clear signals for that resonance should be seen even with the present statistics.

Abstract: We have performed a calculation of the scattering amplitude for the three-body system (K) over bar NN assuming (K) over bar scattering against a NN cluster using the fixed center approximation to the Faddeev equations. The (K) over bar N amplitudes, which we take from chiral unitary dynamics, govern the reaction and we find a (K) over bar NN amplitude that peaks around 40 MeV below the (K) over bar NN threshold, with a width in |T|(2) of the order of 50 MeV for spin 0 and has another peak around 27 MeV with similar width for spin 1. The results are in line with those obtained using different methods but implementing chiral dynamics. The simplicity of the approach allows one to see the important ingredients responsible for the results. In particular, we show the effects from the reduction of the size of the NN cluster due to the interaction with the (K) over bar and those from the explicit consideration of the pi Sigma N channel in the three-body equations.

Abstract: We investigate theoretically baryon systems made of three hadrons which contain one nucleon and one D meson, and in addition another meson, (D) over tilde, K, or (K) over tilde. The systems are studied using the fixed center approximation to the Faddeev equations. The study is made assuming scattering of a K or a (K) over tilde on a DN cluster, which is known to generate the Lambda(c)(2595), or the scattering of a nucleon on the D (D) over tilde cluster, which has been shown to generate a hidden charm resonance named X(3700). We also investigate the configuration of scattering of N on the KD cluster, which is known to generate the D*(s0)(2317). In all cases we find bound states, with the NDK system, of exotic nature, more bound than the (K) over tilde DN.

Abstract: We use distribution amplitudes of the light Sigma baryon and the most general form of the interpolating current for heavy Sigma(b) baryon to investigate the semileptonic Sigma(b) -> Sigma l(+)l(-) transition in light cone QCD sum rules. We calculate all 12 form factors responsible for this transition and use them to evaluate the branching ratio of the considered channel. The order of branching fraction shows that this channel can be detected at LHC.

Abstract: The energies and widths of DNN quasibound states with isospin I = 1/2 are evaluated in two methods, the fixed center approximation to the Faddeev equation and the variational method approach to the effective one-channel Hamiltonian. The DN interactions are constructed so they dynamically generate the Lambda(c)(2595) (I = 0, J(pi) = 1/2(-)) resonance state. We find that the system is bound by about 250 MeV from the DNN threshold, root s similar to 3500 MeV. Its width, including both the mesonic decay and the D absorption, is estimated to be about 20-40 MeV. The I = 0 DN pair in the DNN system is found to form a cluster that is similar to the Lambda(c)(2595).
