Abstract: We perform a theoretical study of the D-s(+) ->pi(+)pi(+)pi(-)eta decay. We look first at the basic D-s(+) decay at the quark level from external and internal emission. Then we hadronize a pair or two pairs of q (q) over bar states to have mesons at the end. Posteriorly the pairs of mesons are allowed to undergo final state interaction, by means of which the a(0)(980), f(0)(980), a(1)(1260), and b(1)(1235) resonances are dynamically generated. The G parity is used as a filter of the possible channels, and from those with negative G parity only the ones that can lead to pi(+)pi(+)pi(-)eta at the final state are kept. Using transition amplitudes from the chiral unitary approach that generates these resonances and a few free parameters, we obtain a fair reproduction of the six mass distributions reported in the BESIII experiment.

Abstract: We study the interaction of two D* and a over bar K* by using the fixed center approximation to the Faddeev equations to search for bound states of the three-body system. Since the D*D* interaction is attractive and gives a bound state, and so is the case of the D* over bar K* interaction, where the JP = 0+ bound state is identified with the X0(2900), the D*D* over bar K* system leads to manifestly exotic bound states with ccs open quarks. We obtain bound states of isospin I = 1=2, negative parity and total spin J = 0, 1, 2. For J = 0 we obtain one state, and for J = 1, 2 we obtain two states in each case. The binding energies range from 56 to 152 MeV and the widths from 80 to 100 MeV.

Abstract: We perform a calculation of the interaction of the D over bar D, Ds over bar Ds coupled channels and find two bound states, one coupling to DD over bar and another one at higher energies coupling mostly to D+s D-s . We identify this latter state with the X0(3930) seen in the D+D- mass distribution in the B+ -D+D-K+ decay, and also show that it produces an enhancement of the D+s D-s mass distribution close to threshold which is compatible with the recent LHCb observation in the B+ -D+s D-s K+ decay which has been identified as a new state, X0(3960).

Abstract: In this work we present an attempt to describe the X1(2900) found by the LHCb collaboration, in the experimental data on the invariant mass spectrum of D-K+, as a three-meson molecular state of the KpD over line system. We discuss that the interactions in all the subsystems are attractive in nature, with the pD over line interaction generating over line D1(2420) and the Kp resonating as K1(1270). We find that the system can form a three-body state but with a mass higher than that of X1(2900). We investigate the KpD system too, finding that the three-body dynamics generates an isoscalar state, which can be related to D*s1(2860), and an exotic isovector state. This latter state has a mass similar to that of the X0(2900) and X1(2900) states found by LHCb, but a very small width (similar to 7.4 +/- 0.9 MeV) and necessarily requires more than two quarks to describe its properties. We hope that our findings will encourage experimental investigations of the isovector KpD state. Finally, in the pursuit of finding a description for X1(2900), we study the K over line K*D* system where over line K*D* forms 0+, 1+, and 2+ states. We do not find a state that can be associated with X1(2900).

Abstract: We look at the mass distribution of the D(S)(+)i Pi(-) In the B-0 ->(DDS+)-D-0 Pi(-)decay, where a peak has been observed in the region of the D (*) (s)rho, D* K* thresholds. By creating these two channels together with a D (0) in B-0 decay and letting them interact as coupled channels, we obtain a structure around their thresholds, short of producing a bound state, which leads to a peak in the D-S(+) Pi(-)mass distribution in the B-0 -> (DDS+)-D-0 Pi(-)decay. We conclude that the interaction between the D*K* and D (*) (s)rho is essential to produce the cusp structure that we associate to the recently seen Tcs(2900), and that its experimental width is mainly due to the decay width of the rho meson. The peak obtained together with a smooth background reproduces fairly well the experimental mass distribution observed in the B (0)-> (DDS+)-D-0 Pi(-) decay.

Abstract: We search for a B decay mode where one can find a peak for a DD bound state predicted in effective theories and in lattice QCD calculations, which has also been claimed from some reactions that show an accumulated strength in D D over bar production at threshold. We find a good candidate in the B+-> K+eta eta reaction, by looking at the eta eta mass distribution. The reaction proceeds via a first step in which one has the B+-> D*+ D-0 reaction followed by D*(+) (s) decay to (DK+)-K-0 and a posterior fusion of D-0 over bar D-0 to eta eta, implemented through a triangle diagram that allows the D-0 over bar D-0 to be virtual and to produce the bound state. The choice of eta eta to see the peak is based on results of calculations that find the eta eta among the light pseudoscalar channels with stronger coupling to the D D over bar bound state. We find a neat peak around the predicted mass of that state in the eta eta mass distribution, with an integrated branching ratio for B+-> K+ (D D, bound); (D D, bound) -> eta eta of the order of 1.5 x 10(-4), a large number for hadronic B decays, which should motivate its experimental search.

Abstract: In this work we study the role of the f(0)(980) and a(0)(980) resonances in the low K+K- and K-0(K) over bar (0) invariant-mass region of the B- -> pi-K+K- and B- -> pi K--(0)(K) over bar (0) reactions. The amplitudes are calculated by using the chiral unitary SU(3) formalism, in which these two resonances are dynamically generated from the unitary pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar coupled-channel approach. The amplitudes are then used as input in the evaluation of the mass distributions with respect to the K+K- and K-0(K) over bar (0) invariant masses, where the contributions coming from the I = 0 and I = 1 components are explicitly assessed. Furthermore, the contribution of the K*(892)K-0(-) production and its influence on the pi K--(+) and K+K- systems are also evaluated, showing that there is no significant strength for small K+K- invariant mass. Finally, the final distributions of M-inv(2) ((KK -/+)-K-+/-) for the B--/+ -> pi(KK -/+)-K--/+-K-+/- reactions are estimated and compared with the LHCb data. Our results indicate that the I = 0 component tied to the f(0)(980) excitation generates the dominant contribution in the range of low K+K- invariant mass.

Abstract: We study the molecular probability of the X(3872) in the D0 over bar D*0 and D+D*- channels in several scenarios. One of them assumes that the state is purely due to a genuine nonmolecular component. However, it gets unavoidably dressed by the meson components to the point that in the limit of zero binding of the D0 over bar D*0 component becomes purely molecular. Yet, the small but finite binding allows for a nonmolecular state when the bare mass of the genuine state approaches the D0 over bar D*0 threshold, but, in this case the system develops a small scattering length and a huge effective range for this channel in flagrant disagreement with present values of these magnitudes. Next we discuss the possibility to have hybrid states stemming from the combined effect of a genuine state and a reasonable direct interaction between the meson components, where we find cases in which the scattering length and effective range are still compatible with data, but even then the molecular probability is as big as 95%. Finally, we perform the calculations when the binding stems purely from the direct interaction between the meson-meson components. In summary we conclude, that while present data definitely rule out the possibility of a dominant nonmolecular component, the precise value of the molecular probability requires a more precise determination of the scattering length and effective range of the D0 over bar D*0 channel, as well as the measurement of these magnitudes for the D+D*- channel which have not been determined experimentally so far.

Abstract: The N*(1535) can be dynamically generated in the chiral unitary approach with the coupled channels, K0E+; K+E0; K+A, and eta p. In this work, we evaluate the correlation functions for every channel and face the inverse problem. Assuming the correlation functions to correspond to real measurements, we conduct a fit to the data within a general framework in order to extract the information contained in these correlation functions. The bootstrap method is used to determine the uncertainties of the different observables, and we find that, assuming errors of the same order than in present measurements of correlation functions, one can determine the scattering length and effective range of all channels with a very good accuracy. Most remarkable is the fact that the method predicts the existence of a bound state of isospin 12 nature around the mass of the N*(1535) with an accuracy of 6 MeV. These results should encourage the actual measurement of these correlation functions (only the K+A one is measured so far), which can shed valuable light on the relationship of the N*(1535) state to these coupled channels, a subject of continuous debate.

Abstract: We study the decays B over bar 0 – over bar K0X, B- – K-X, B over bar 0s – eta(eta 1)X, B over bar 0 – over bar K*0X, B- – K*-X, B over bar 0s – phi X, with X equivalent to X(3872), from the perspective of the X(3872) being a molecular state made from the interaction of the D*+D-; D*0 over bar D0, and c:c: components. We consider both the external and internal emission decay mechanisms and find an explanation for the over bar K0X and K-X production rates, based on the mass difference of the charged and neutral D*D over bar components. We also find that the internal and external emission mechanisms add constructively in the B over bar 0 – over bar K0X, B- – K-X reactions, while they add destructively in the case of widths of the present measurements and allows us to make predictions for the unmeasured modes of B over bar 0s – eta(eta 1)X(3872) and B- – K*-X(3872). The future measurement of these decay modes will help us get a better perspective on the nature of the X(3872) and the mechanisms present in production reactions of that state.
