Abstract: The Double Chooz collaboration presents a measurement of the neutrino mixing angle theta(13) using reactor (nu) over bar (e) observed via the inverse beta decay reaction in which the neutron is captured on hydrogen. This measurement is based on 462.72 live days data, approximately twice as much data as in the previous such analysis, collected with a detector positioned at an average distance of 1050m from two reactor cores. Several novel techniques have been developed to achieve significant reductions of the backgrounds and systematic uncertainties. Accidental coincidences, the dominant background in this analysis, are suppressed by more than an order of magnitude with respect to our previous publication by a multi-variate analysis. These improvements demonstrate the capability of precise measurement of reactor (nu) over bar (e) without gadolinium loading. Spectral distortions from the (nu) over bar (e) reactor flux predictions previously reported with the neutron capture on gadolinium events are confirmed in the independent data sample presented here. A value of sin(2) 2 theta(13) = 0.095(0.039)(+0.039)(stat+syst) is obtained from a fit to the observed event rate as a function of the reactor power, a method insensitive to the energy spectrum shape. A simultaneous fit of the hydrogen capture events and of the gadolinium capture events yields a measurement of sin(2) 2 theta(13) = 0.088 +/- 0.033(stat+syst).

Abstract: Measurements are presented of the branching fractions of the decays B-s(0) -> D-s(-/+) K--/+ and B-0 -> Ds-K+ relative to the decays B-s(0) -> D-s(-)pi(+) and B-0 -> D-s(-)pi(+), respectively. The data used correspond to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1) of proton-proton collisions. The ratios of branching fractions are B(B-s(0) -> D-s(-/+) K--/+)/B(B-s(0) -> D-s(-)pi(+)) = 0.0752 +/- 0.0015 +/- 0.0019 and B(B-0 -> Ds-K+)/B(B-0 -> D-pi(+)) = 0.0129 +/- 0.0005 +/- 0.0008, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

Abstract: Using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1) collected in pp collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, the B (s) (0) -> aEuro parts per thousand I center dot I center dot branching fraction is measured to be B(B-0 -> phi phi) = (1.84 +/- 0.05(stat) +/- 0.07 (syst) +/- 0.11 (f(s)/f(d)) +/- 0.12 (norm)) x 10(-5) where f (s) /f (d) represents the ratio of the B (s) (0) to B (0) production cross-sections, and the B (0) -> I center dot K (*)(892)(0) decay mode is used for normalization. This is the most precise measurement of this branching fraction to date, representing a factor five reduction in the statistical uncertainty compared with the previous best measurement. A search for the decay B (0) -> I center dot I center dot is also made. No signal is observed, and an upper limit on the branching fraction is set as B(B-0 -> phi phi < 2.8 x 10(-8)) at 90% confidence level. This is a factor of seven improvement compared to the previous best limit.

Abstract: A search is performed for the as yet unobserved baryonic Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda eta' and Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda eta decays with 3 fb(-1) of proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment. The B-0 -> K-s(0)eta' decay is used as a normalisation channel. No significant signal is observed for the Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda eta' decay. An upper limit is found on the branching fraction of B(Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda eta') < 3.1 x 10(-6) at 90% confidence level. Evidence is seen for the presence of the Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda eta 0 decay at the level of 3 sigma significance, with a branching fraction B(Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda eta) = (9.3(-5.3)(+7.3)) x 10(-6).

Abstract: The (B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c2) K+ K- decay mode is observed and its branching fraction relative to the corresponding chi(c1) decay mode, in a +/- 15MeV/c(2) window around the phi mass, is found to be B ((B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c2) K+ K-)/B((B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c1) K+ K-) = (17.1 +/- 3.1 +/- 0.4 +/- 0.9)% where the fi rst uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third due to the knowledge of the branching fractions of radiative chi(c) decays. The decay mode (B) over bar (0)(s) -> chi(c1) K+ K- allows the B-s(0) mass to be measured as m(B-s(0)) = 5366.83 +/- 0.25 +/- 0.27MeV/c(2), where the fi rst uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. A combination of this result with other LHCb determinations of the B-s(0) mass is made.
