Abstract: We study here the interaction of D (D) over bar* in the isospin I = 1 channel in light of recent theoretical advances that allow us to combine elements of the local hidden gauge approach with heavy quark spin symmetry. We find that the exchange of light q (q) over bar is Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka (OZI) suppressed and thus we concentrate on the exchange of heavy vectors and of two pion exchange. The latter is found to be small compared to the exchange of heavy vectors, which then determines the strength of the interaction. A barely D (D) over bar* bound state decaying into eta(c)rho and pi J/psi is found. At the same time we reanalyze the data of the BESIII experiment on e(+)e(-) -> pi(+/-)(D (D) over bar*)(-/+), from where a Z(c)(3885) state was claimed, associated to a peak in the (D (D) over bar*)(-/+) invariant mass distribution close to threshold, and we find the data compatible with a resonance with mass around 3875 MeV and width around 30 MeV. We discuss the possibility that this and the Z(c)(3900) state found at BESIII, reconfirmed at 3894 MeV at Belle, or 3885 MeV at CLEO, could all be the same state and correspond to the one that we find theoretically.

Abstract: Lattice QCD simulations provide a promising way to disentangle different interpretations of hadronic resonances, which might be of particular relevance to understand the nature of the so-called XYZ particles. Recent studies have shown that in addition to the well-established naive quark model picture, the axial-vector meson f(1)(1285) can also be understood as a dynamically generated state built upon the KK* interaction. In this work, we calculate the energy levels of the KK* system in the f(1)(1285) channel in finite volume using the chiral unitary approach. We propose to calculate the loop function in the dimensional regularization scheme, which is equivalent to the hybrid approach adopted in previous studies. We also study the inverse problem of extracting the bound state information from synthetic lattice QCD data and comment on the difference between our approach and the Luscher method.

Abstract: We study the semileptonic B-s and B decays into the D-s0*(2317) and D-0*(2400) resonances, respectively. With the help of a chiral unitarity model in coupled channels we compute the ratio of the decay widths of both processes. Using current values of the width for the (B) over bar (0) -> D-0*(2400)(+)(v) over bar (l)l(-) we make predictions for the rate of the (B) over bar (0)(s) -> D-s0*(2317)(+)(v) over bar (l)l(-) decay and for the DK invariant mass distribution in the (B) over bar (0)(s) -> DK (v) over bar (l)l(-) decay.

Abstract: We study the semileptonic decay of Lambda(c) to nu l(+) and Lambda(1405), where the Lambda(1405) is seen in the invariant mass distribution of pi Sigma. We perform the hadronization of the quarks produced in the reaction in order to have a meson baryon pair in the final state and then let these hadron pairs undergo final state interaction from where the Lambda(1405) is dynamically generated. The reaction is particularly suited to study this resonance, because we show that it filters I = 0. It is also free of tree-level pi Sigma production, which leads to a clean signal of the resonance with no background. This same feature has as a consequence that one populates the state of the Lambda(1405) with higher mass around 1420 MeV, predicted by the chiral unitary approach. We make absolute predictions for the invariant mass distributions and find them within the measurable range in present facilities. The implementation of this reaction would allow us to gain insight into the existence of the predicted two Lambda(1405) states and their nature as molecular states.

Abstract: In this paper, we present a review of recent works on weak decay of heavy mesons and baryons with two mesons, or a meson and a baryon, interacting strongly in the final state. The aim is to learn about the interaction of hadrons and how some particular resonances are produced in the reactions. It is shown that these reactions have peculiar features and act as filters for some quantum numbers which allow to identify easily some resonances and learn about their nature. The combination of basic elements of the weak interaction with the framework of the chiral unitary approach allow for an interpretation of results of many reactions and add a novel information to different aspects of the hadron interaction and the properties of dynamically generated resonances.
