CDF Collaboration(Aaltonen, T. et al), & Cabrera, S. (2010). Measurement of the WW plus WZ Production Cross Section Using the lepton plus jets Final State at CDF II. Phys. Rev. Lett., 104(10), 101801–8pp.
Abstract: We report two complementary measurements of the WW + WZ cross section in the final state consisting of an electron or muon, missing transverse energy, and jets, performed using p (p) over bar collision data at root s = 1.96 TeV collected by the CDF II detector. The first method uses the dijet invariant mass distribution while the second more sensitive method uses matrix-element calculations. The result from the second method has a signal significance of 5.4 sigma and is the first observation of WW + WZ production using this signature. Combining the results gives sigma(WW+WZ) = 16.0 +/- 3.3 pb, in agreement with the standard model prediction.

CDF Collaboration(Aaltonen, T. et al), & Cabrera, S. (2010). Measurement of the Lambda(0)(b) Lifetime in Lambda(0)(b) -> Lambda(+)(c)pi(-) Decays in p(p)over-bar Collisions at root s=1.96 TeV. Phys. Rev. Lett., 104(10), 102002–8pp.
Abstract: We report a measurement of the lifetime of the Lambda(0)(b) baryon in decays to the Lambda(+)(c)pi(-) final state in a sample corresponding to 1.1 fb(-1) collected in p (p) over bar collisions at root s = 1.96 TeV by the CDF II detector at the Tevatron collider. Using a sample of about 3000 fully reconstructed Lambda(0)(b) events we measure tau(Lambda(0)(b) ) = 1.401 +/- 0.046(stat) +/- 0.035(syst) ps (corresponding to c tau(Lambda(0)(b)) = 420.1 +/- 13.7(stat) +/- 10.6(syst) μm, where c is the speed of light). The ratio of this result and the world average B-0 lifetime yields tau(Lambda(0)(b))/tau(B-0) = 0.918 +/- 0.038 (stat) and (syst), in good agreement with recent theoretical predictions.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., & Oyanguren, A. (2012). Evidence for an Excess of (B)over-bar -> D-(*()) tau(-)(nu)over-bar(tau) Decays. Phys. Rev. Lett., 109(10), 101802–8pp.
Abstract: Based on the full BABAR data sample, we report improved measurements of the ratios R(D-(*())) = B((B) over bar -> D-(*()) tau(-)(nu) over bar (tau))/B((B) over bar -> D-(*()) l(l)(-)(nu) over bar (l), where l is either e or mu. These ratios are sensitive to new physics contributions in the form of a charged Higgs boson. We measure R(D) = 0.440 +/- 0.058 +/- 0.042 and R(D*) = 0.332 +/- 0.024 +/- 0.018, which exceed the standard model expectations by 2.0 sigma and 2.7 sigma, respectively. Taken together, our results disagree with these expectations at the 3.4 sigma level. This excess cannot be explained by a charged Higgs boson in the type II two-Higgs-doublet model.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., Oyanguren, A., & Villanueva-Perez, P. (2013). Search for CP Violation in B-0-<(B-0)over bar> mixing using partial reconstruction of B-0 -> D*(-)Xl(+)nu(l) and a kaon tag. Phys. Rev. Lett., 111(10), 101802–7pp.
Abstract: We present results of a search for CP violation in B-0-(B) over bar (0) mixing with the BABAR detector. We select a sample of B0 -> D*-Xl(+)nu decays with a partial reconstruction method and use kaon tagging to assess the flavor of the other B meson in the event. We determine the CP violating asymmetryA(CP) [N((BB0)-B-0) – N((B-0) over bar (B-0) over bar)]/[N((B-0) over bar (B-0) over bar) + N((BB0)-B-0)] = (0.06 +/- 0.17 +/- 0.38-0.32)%, corresponding to Delta(CP) = 1- vertical bar q/p vertical bar = (0.29 +/- 0.84+1.88-1.61) X 10(-3).

IGISOL Collaboration(Zakari-Issoufou, A. A. et al), Algora, A., Tain, J. L., Valencia, E., Agramunt, J., Estevez, E., et al. (2015). Total Absorption Spectroscopy Study of Rb-92 Decay: A Major Contributor to Reactor Antineutrino Spectrum Shape. Phys. Rev. Lett., 115(10), 102503–6pp.
Abstract: The antineutrino spectra measured in recent experiments at reactors are inconsistent with calculations based on the conversion of integral beta spectra recorded at the ILL reactor. Rb-92 makes the dominant contribution to the reactor antineutrino spectrum in the 5-8 MeV range but its decay properties are in question. We have studied Rb-92 decay with total absorption spectroscopy. Previously unobserved beta feeding was seen in the 4.5-5.5 region and the GS to GS feeding was found to be 87.5(25)%. The impact on the reactor antineutrino spectra calculated with the summation method is shown and discussed.
