BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., Oyanguren, A., & Villanueva-Perez, P. (2014). Measurements of direct CP asymmetries in B -> X-s gamma decays using sum of exclusive decays. Phys. Rev. D, 90(9), 092001–12pp.
Abstract: We measure the direct CP violation asymmetry, A(CP), in B -> X-s gamma and the isospin difference of the asymmetry, Delta A(CP), using 429 fb(-1) of data collected at Upsilon(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP- II asymmetric- energy e(+)e(-) storage rings operating at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. B mesons are reconstructed from ten charged B final states and six neutral B final states. We find A(CP) = +(1.7 +/- 1.9 +/- 1.0)%, which is in agreement with the Standard Model prediction and provides an improvement on the world average. Moreover, we report the first measurement of the difference between A(CP) for charged and neutral decay modes, Delta A(CP) = +(5.0 +/- 3.9 +/- 1.5)%. Using the value of Delta A(CP), we also provide 68% and 90% confidence intervals on the imaginary part of the ratio of theWilson coefficients corresponding to the chromomagnetic dipole and the electromagnetic dipole transitions.

Abstract: Using a sample of (470.9 +/- 2.8) x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs, we measure the decay branching fraction B(B-0 -> D*(-)pi(+)pi(-)pi(-)) = (7.26 +/- 0.11 +/- 0.31) x 10(-3), where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Our measurement will be helpful in studies of lepton universality by measuring B(B-0 -> D*(-)tau(+)nu(tau)) using tau(+) -> pi(+)pi(-)pi(+)(nu) over bar (tau) decays, normalized to B(B-0 -> D*(-)pi(+)pi(-)pi(-)).

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., & Oyanguren, A. (2017). Measurement of the e(+) e(-) -> (KsK +/-)-K-0 pi(-/+)pi(0) and K-s(0) K-+/-pi(-/+)eta cross sections using initial-state radiation. Phys. Rev. D, 95(9), 092005–17pp.
Abstract: The processes e(+) e(-) -> (KsK +/-)-K-0 pi(-/+)pi(0) and e(+) e(-) -> K-s(0) K-+/-pi(-/+)eta are studied over a continuum of energies from threshold to 4 GeV with the initial-state photon radiation method. Using 454 fb(-1) of data collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II storage ring, the first measurements of the cross sections for these processes are obtained. The intermediate resonance structures from K-*0(K pi)(0), K*(892)(+/-)(K pi)(T),and (KsK +/-)-K-0 rho(-/+)are studied. The J/psi is observed in all of these channels, and corresponding branching fractions are measured.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., & Oyanguren, A. (2017). Measurement of the e(+)e(-) -> pi(+)pi(-)pi(0)pi(0) cross section using initial-state radiation at BABAR. Phys. Rev. D, 96(9), 092009–17pp.
Abstract: The process e(+)e(-) -> pi(+)pi(-)2 pi(0)gamma is investigated by means of the initial-state radiation technique, where a photon is emitted from the incoming electron or positron. Using 454.3 fb(-1) of data collected around a centerof- mass energy of root s = 10.58 GeV by the BABAR experiment at SLAC, approximately 150000 signal events are obtained. The corresponding nonradiative cross section is measured with a relative uncertainty of 3.6% in the energy region around 1.5 GeV, surpassing all existing measurements in precision. Using this new result, the channel's contribution to the leading order hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon is calculated as (g(mu)(pi+ pi-2 pi 0) – 2)/2 = (17.9 +/- 0.1(stat) +/- 0.6(syst)) x 10(-10) in the energy range 0.85 GeV < ECM < 1.8 GeV. In the same energy range, the impact on the running of the fine-structure constant at the Z(0)-pole is determined as Delta alpha(pi+ pi-2 pi 0) (M-Z(2)) = (4.44 +/- 0.02(stat) +/- 0.14(syst)) x 10(-4). Furthermore, intermediate resonances are studied and especially the cross section of the process e(+)e(-) -> omega pi(0) -> pi(+)pi(-)2 pi(0) is measured.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., & Oyanguren, A. (2019). Extraction of form Factors from a Four-Dimensional Angular Analysis of (B)over-bar -> D*l(-)(nu)over-bar(l). Phys. Rev. Lett., 123(9), 091801–8pp.
Abstract: An angular analysis of the decay (B) over bar -> D*l(-)(nu) over bar (l), l is an element of {e, mu}, is reported using the full e(+) e(-) collision data set collected by the BABAR experiment at the Upsilon(4S) resonance. One B meson from the Upsilon(4S) -> B (B) over bar decay is fully reconstructed in a hadronic decay mode, which constrains the kinematics and provides a determination of the neutrino momentum vector. The kinematics of the semileptonic decay is described by the dilepton mass squared, q(2), and three angles. The first unbinned fit to the full four-dimensional decay rate in the standard model is performed in the so-called Boyd-Grinstein-Lebed approach, which employs a generic q(2) parametrization of the underlying form factors based on crossing symmetry, analyticity, and QCD dispersion relations for the amplitudes. A fit using the more model-dependent Caprini-Lellouch-Neubert (CLN) approach is performed as well. Our form factor shapes show deviations from previous fits based on the CLN parametrization. The latest form factors also provide an updated prediction for the branching fraction ratio R(D*) B((B) over bar -> D* tau(-)(nu) over bar (tau)) /B((B) over bar -> D*l(-)(nu) over bar (l)) = 0.253 +/- 0.005. Finally, using the well-measured branching fraction for the (B) over bar -> D*l(-)(nu) over bar (l) decay, a value of vertical bar V-cb vertical bar = (38.36 +/- 0.90) x 10(-3) is obtained that is consistent with the current world average for exclusive (B) over bar -> D(*)l(-)(nu) over bar (l) decays and remains in tension with the determination from inclusive semileptonic B decays to final states with charm.
