Abstract: The "mu from nu'' supersymmetric standard model (mu nu SSM) cures the μproblem and concurrently reproduces measured neutrino data by using a set of usual right-handed neutrino superfields. Recently, the LHC has revealed the first scalar boson which naturally makes it tempting to test μnu SSM in the light of this new discovery. We show that this new scalar, while decaying to a pair of unstable long-lived neutralinos, can lead to a distinct signal with nonprompt multileptons. With concomitant collider analysis we show that this signal provides an intriguing signature of the model, pronounced with light neutralinos. Evidence of this signal is well envisaged with sophisticated displaced vertex analysis, which deserves experimental attention.

Abstract: A search for quantum black holes in electron + jet and muon + jet invariant mass spectra is performed with 140 fb(-1) of data collected by the ATLAS detector in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider. The observed invariant mass spectrum of lepton + jet pairs is consistent with Standard Model expectations. Upper limits are set at 95% confidence level on the production cross section times branching fractions for quantum black holes decaying into a lepton and a quark in a search region with invariant mass above 2.0 TeV. The resulting quantum black hole lower mass threshold limit is 9.2 TeV in the Arkani-Hamed-Dimopoulos-Dvali model, and 6.8 TeV in the Randall-Sundrum model.

Abstract: We make use of a self-consistent quark-model based study of four-quark charmonium-like states to interpret recent charmonium experimental data. We conclude that there exists a D*(D) over bar* meson-meson molecule with quantum numbers (I-G) J(PC) = (1(-))2(++). Our study confirms the presence of charged charmonium-like resonances on the excited charmonium spectrum. We find support from recent experimental data by the Belle Collaboration [R. Mizuk et al. (Belle Collaboration), Phys. Rev. D 78, 072004 (2008)]. Confirmation of the experimental data by the Belle Collaboration and the determination of the quantum numbers of the new structures would help in discriminating among different theoretical models and would give further support to the theoretical analysis of T. Fernandez-Carames, A. Valcarce, and J. Vijande [Phys. Rev. Lett. 103, 222001 (2009)].

Abstract: We show that the K-2*(1430), K-3*(1780), K-4*(2045), K-5*(2380), and a not-yet-discovered K-6* resonance are basically molecules made of an increasing number of rho(770) and one K*(892) mesons. The idea relies on the fact that the vector-vector interaction in the s wave with spins aligned is very strong for both rho rho and K*rho. We extend a recent work, where several resonances showed up as multi-rho(770) molecules, to the strange sector including the K*(892) into the system. The resonant structures show up in the multibody scattering amplitudes, which are evaluated in terms of the unitary two-body vector-vector scattering amplitudes by using the fixed center approximation to the Faddeev equations.

Abstract: As a result of a new improved fit to old bubble chamber data of the dominant axial C-5(A) nucleon-to-delta form factor, and due to the relevance of this form factor for neutrino induced coherent pion production, we reevaluate our model predictions in [Phys. Rev. D 79, 013002 ( 2009)] for different observables of the latter reaction. Central values for the total cross sections increase by 20%-30%, while differential cross sections do not change their shape appreciably. Furthermore, we also compute the uncertainties on total, differential, and flux-averaged cross sections induced by the errors in the determination of C-5(A). Our new results turn out to be compatible within about 1 sigma with the former ones. Finally, we stress the existing tension between the recent experimental determination of the sigma(CCcoh pi(+))/sigma(NCcoh pi(0)) ratio by the SciBooNE Collaboration and the theoretical predictions.
