Pavao, R., Sakai, S., & Oset, E. (2018). Production of N*(1535) and N*(1650) in Lambda(c)-> (K)over-bar(0)eta p (pi N) decay. Phys. Rev. C, 98(1), 015201–8pp.
Abstract: To study the properties of the N*(1535) and N*(1650), we calculate the mass distributions of MB in the Lambda(c) -> (K) over bar (MB)-M-0 decay, with MB = pi N(I = 1/2), eta p, and K Sigma(I = 1/2). We do this by calculating the tree-level and loop contributions, mixing pseudoscalar-baryon and vector-baryon channels using the local hidden gauge formalism. The loop contributions for each channel are calculated using the chiral unitary approach. We observe that for the eta N mass distribution only the N* (1535) is seen, with the N* (1650) contributing to the width of the curve, but for the pi N mass distribution both resonances are clearly visible. In the case of MB = K Sigma, we found that the strength of the K E mass distribution is smaller than that of the mass distributions of the pi N and eta p in the Lambda(+)(c)-> (K) over bar (0)pi N and Lambda(+)(c) -> (K) over bar (0)eta p processes, in spite of this channel having a large coupling to the N* (1650). This is because the K Sigma pair production is suppressed in the primary production from the Lambda(c) decay.

Oset, E., & Roca, L. (2018). Triangle mechanism in tau -> f(1)(1285)pi nu(tau) decay. Phys. Lett. B, 782, 332–338.
Abstract: We show that the tau(-) decay into f(1)(1285) pi(-)nu(tau) is dominated by a triangle loop mechanism with K*, (K) over bar* and K( or (K) over bar) as internal lines, which manifests a strong enhancement reminiscent of a nearby singularity present in the narrow K* limit and the near (K) over bar* K* threshold of the internal K* propagators. The f1(1285) is then produced by its coupling to the K* (K) over bar and (K) over bar* K which is obtained from a previous model where this resonance was dynamically generated as a molecular K* (K) over bar (or (K) over bar* K) state using the techniques of the chiral unitary approach. We make predictions for the f(1)pi mass distribution which significantly deviates from the phase-space shape, due to the distortion caused by the triangle mechanism and the K* (K) over bar threshold. We find a good agreement with the experimental value within uncertainties for the integrated partial decay width, which is a clear indication of the importance of the triangle mechanism in this decay and supports the dynamical origin of the f(1)(1285) as a K* (K) over bar and (K) over bar* K molecular state.

Pavao, R., & Oset, E. (2018). Coupled channels dynamics in the generation of the Omega (2012) resonance. Eur. Phys. J. C, 78(10), 857–8pp.
Abstract: We look into the newly observed Omega (2012) state from the molecular perspective in which the resonance is generated from the (K) over bar Xi*, eta Omega and (K) over bar Xi channels. We find that this picture provides a natural explanation of the properties of the Omega (2012) state. We stress that the molecular nature of the resonance is revealed with a large coupling of the Omega (2012) to the (K) over bar Xi* channel, that can be observed in the Omega (2012) -> (K) over bar pi Xi decay which is incorporated automatically in our chiral unitary approach via the use of the spectral function of Xi* in the evaluation of the (K) over bar Xi* loop function.

Molina, R., & Oset, E. (2020). Triangle singularity in B- ->K- X(3872); X ->pi 0 pi+ pi- and the X(3872) mass. Eur. Phys. J. C, 80(5), 451–9pp.
Abstract: We evaluate the contribution to the X(3872) width from a triangle mechanism in which the X decays into D0D<overbar>0-cc, then the D0(D<overbar>0) decays into D0 pi 0 (D<overbar>0 pi 0) and the D0D<overbar>0 fuse to produce pi+pi-. This mechanism produces an asymmetric peak from a triangle singularity in the pi+pi- invariant mass with a shape very sensitive to the X mass. We evaluate the branching ratios for a reaction where this effect can be seen in the B--> K-pi 0 pi+pi- reaction and show that the determination of the peak in the invariant mass distribution of pi +pi - is all that is needed to determine the X mass. Given the present uncertainties in the X mass, which do not allow to know whether the D0D<overbar>0 state is bound or not, measurements like the one suggested here should be most welcome to clarify this issue.

Molina, R., & Oset, E. (2020). Molecular picture for the X-0(2866) as a D*(K)over-bar* J(P)=0(+) state and related 1(+), 2(+) states. Phys. Lett. B, 811, 135870–7pp.
Abstract: We recall the predictions made ten years ago about a bound state of J(P) = 0(+) in I = 0 of the D*(K) over bar* system, which is manifestly exotic, and we associate it to the X-0(2866) state reported in the recent LHCb experiment. Fine tuning the parameters to reproduce exactly the mass and width of the X-0(2866) state, we report two more states stemming from the same interaction, one with 1(+) and the other with 2(+). For reasons of parity, the 1(+) state cannot be observed in D (K) over bar decay, and we suggest to observe it in the D*(K) over bar spectrum. On the other hand, the 2(+) state can be observed in D (K) over bar decay but the present experiment has too small statistics in the region of its mass to make any claim. We note that measurements of the D*(K) over bar spectrum and of the D (K) over bar with more statistics should bring important information concerning the nature of the X-0(2866) and related ones that could be observed.

Roca, L., & Oset, E. (2021). Scalar resonances in the D+ -> K-K+K+ decay. Phys. Rev. D, 103(3), 034020–9pp.
Abstract: We study theoretically the resonant structure of the double Cabibbo suppressed D+ -> K-K+K+ decay. We start from an elementary production diagram, considered subleading in previous approaches, which cannot produce a final K-K+ pair at the tree level but which we show to be able to provide the strength of the decay through final meson-meson state interaction. The different meson-meson elementary productions are related through SU(3), and the final rescattering is implemented from a suitable implementation of unitary extensions of chiral perturbation theory, which generate dynamically the scalar resonances1 f(0)(980) and a(0)(980). We obtain a good agreement with recent experimental data from the LHCb Collaboration with a minimal freedom in the fit and show the dominance of the a(0)(980) contribution close to the threshold of the K-K+ spectrum.

Oset, E., & Roca, L. (2022). Exotic molecular meson states of B(*) K(*) nature. Eur. Phys. J. C, 82(10), 882–9pp.
Abstract: We evaluate theoretically the interaction of the open bottom and strange systems (B) over bar (K) over bar, (B) over bar * (K) over bar, (B) over bar (K) over bar * and (B) over bar* (K) over bar* to look for possible bound states which could correspond to exotic non-quark-antiquark mesons since they would contain at least one b and one s quarks. The s-wave scattering matrix is evaluated implementing unitarity by means of the Bethe-Salpeter equation, with the potential kernels obtained from contact and vector meson exchange mechanisms. The vertices needed are supplied from Lagrangians derived from suitable extensions of the hidden gauge symmetry approach to the bottom sector. We find poles below the respective thresholds for isospin 0 interaction and evaluate the widths of the different obtained states by including the main sources of imaginary part, which are the B *-> B gamma decay in the (B) over bar * (K) over bar channels, the K *-> K pi in the channels involving a K *, plus the box diagrams with (B) over bar (K) over bar and (B) over bar * (K) over bar intermediate states for the (B) over bar * (K) over bar * channels.

Molina, R., & Oset, E. (2023). T-cS (2900) as a threshold effect from the interaction of the D* K *, D *(s)rho channels. Phys. Rev. D, 107(5), 056015–7pp.
Abstract: We look at the mass distribution of the D(S)(+)i Pi(-) In the B-0 ->(DDS+)-D-0 Pi(-)decay, where a peak has been observed in the region of the D (*) (s)rho, D* K* thresholds. By creating these two channels together with a D (0) in B-0 decay and letting them interact as coupled channels, we obtain a structure around their thresholds, short of producing a bound state, which leads to a peak in the D-S(+) Pi(-)mass distribution in the B-0 -> (DDS+)-D-0 Pi(-)decay. We conclude that the interaction between the D*K* and D (*) (s)rho is essential to produce the cusp structure that we associate to the recently seen Tcs(2900), and that its experimental width is mainly due to the decay width of the rho meson. The peak obtained together with a smooth background reproduces fairly well the experimental mass distribution observed in the B (0)-> (DDS+)-D-0 Pi(-) decay.
