Title Fritzsch neutrino mass matrix from S-3 symmetry Type Journal Article
Year 2011 Publication Journal of Physics G Abbreviated Journal J. Phys. G
Volume 38 Issue 1 Pages 015003 - 10pp
Keywords
Abstract We present an extension of the standard model (SM) based on the discrete flavor symmetry S-3 which gives a neutrino mass matrix with two-zero texture of Fritzsch type and nearly diagonal charged lepton mass matrix. The model is compatible with the normal hierarchy only and predicts sin(2) theta(13) approximate to 0.01 at the best-fit values of solar and atmospheric parameters and maximal leptonic CP violation.

Title Review of Particle Physics Type Journal Article
Year 2010 Publication Journal of Physics G Abbreviated Journal J. Phys. G
Volume 37 Issue 7a Pages 1-1422
Keywords
Abstract This biennial Review summarizes much of particle physics. Using data from previous editions, plus 2158 new measurements from 551 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons. We also summarize searches for hypothetical particles such as Higgs bosons, heavy neutrinos, and supersymmetric particles. All the particle properties and search limits are listed in Summary Tables. We also give numerous tables, figures, formulae, and reviews of topics such as the Standard Model, particle detectors, probability, and statistics. Among the 108 reviews are many that are new or heavily revised including those on neutrino mass, mixing, and oscillations, QCD, top quark, CKM quark-mixing matrix, V-ud & V-us, V-cb & V-ub, fragmentation functions, particle detectors for accelerator and non-accelerator physics, magnetic monopoles, cosmological parameters, and big bang cosmology. A booklet is available containing the Summary Tables and abbreviated versions of some of the other sections of this full Review. All tables, listings, and reviews (and errata) are also available on the Particle Data Group website: http://pdg.1b1.gov.

Title A model for right-handed neutrino magnetic moments Type Journal Article
Year 2010 Publication Journal of Physics G Abbreviated Journal J. Phys. G
Volume 37 Issue 7 Pages 075012 - 12pp
Keywords
Abstract A simple extension of the standard model providing Majorana magnetic moments to right-handed neutrinos is presented. The model contains, in addition to the standard model particles and right-handed neutrinos, just a singly charged scalar and a vector-like charged fermion. The phenomenology of the model is analysed and its implications in cosmology, astrophysics and lepton flavour violating processes are extracted. If light enough, the charged particles responsible for the right-handed neutrino magnetic moments could copiously be produced at the Large Hadron Collider.

Title Jet substructure at the Tevatron and LHC: new results, new tools, new benchmarks Type Journal Article
Year 2012 Publication Journal of Physics G Abbreviated Journal J. Phys. G
Volume 39 Issue 6 Pages 063001 - 44pp
Keywords
Abstract In this paper, we review recent theoretical progress and the latest experimental results in jet substructure from the Tevatron and the LHC. We review the status of and outlook for calculation and simulation tools for studying jet substructure. Following up on the report of the Boost 2010 workshop, we present a new set of benchmark comparisons of substructure techniques, focusing on the set of variables and grooming methods that are collectively known as 'top taggers'. To facilitate further exploration, we have attempted to collect, harmonize and publish software implementations of these techniques.

Title Neutrinoless double-beta decay and physics beyond the standard model Type Journal Article
Year 2012 Publication Journal of Physics G Abbreviated Journal J. Phys. G
Volume 39 Issue 12 Pages 124007 - 23pp
Keywords
Abstract Neutrinoless double-beta decay is the most powerful tool to probe not only for Majorana neutrino masses but for lepton number violating physics in general. We discuss relations between lepton number violation, double-beta decay and neutrino mass, review a general Lorentz-invariant parametrization of the double-beta decay rate, highlight a number of different new physics models showing how different mechanisms can trigger double-beta decay and, finally, discuss possibilities of discriminating and testing these models and mechanisms in complementary experiments.
