Abstract: We study the reaction e(+)e(-) -> e(+)e(-) eta(c), eta(c) -> KSK +/-pi(-/+) and obtain eta(c) mass and width values 2982.2 +/- 0.4 +/- 1.6 MeV/c(2) and 31.7 +/- 1.2 +/- 0.8 MeV, respectively. We find Gamma(eta(c) -> gamma gamma)B(eta(c) -> KK pi) = 0.374 +/- 0.009 +/- 0.031 keV, and measure the gamma gamma* -> eta(c) transition form factor in the momentum transfer range from 2 to 50 GeV2. The analysis is based on 469 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected at PEP-II with the BABAR detector at e(+)e(-) center-of-mass energies near 10.6 GeV.

Abstract: We report on a search for direct CP violation in the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay D+ -> K+K-pi(+/-) using a data sample of 476 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) annihilation data accumulated with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II electron-positron collider, running at and just below the energy of the Upsilon(4S) resonance. The integrated CP-violating decay rate asymmetry A(CP) is determined to be (0.37 +/- 0.30 +/- 0.15)%. Model-independent and model-dependent Dalitz plot analysis techniques are used to search for CP-violating asymmetries in the various intermediate states. We find no evidence for CP-violation asymmetry.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., & Oyanguren, A. (2013). Measurement of CP asymmetries and branching fractions in charmless two-body B-meson decays to pions and kaons. Phys. Rev. D, 87(5), 052009–16pp.
Abstract: We present improved measurements of CP-violation parameters in the decays B-0 -> pi(+)pi(-), B-0 -> K+pi(-), and B-0 -> pi(0)pi(0), and of the branching fractions for B-0 -> pi(0)pi(0) and B-0 -> K-0 pi(0). The results are obtained with the full data set collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance by the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, corresponding to (467 +/- 5) x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs. We find the CP-violation parameter values and branching fractions: S pi+pi- = -0.68 +/- 0.10 +/- 0.03, C-pi+pi(-) = -0.25 +/- 0.08 +/- 0.02, A(K+pi-) = -0.107 +/- 0.016(-0.004)(+0.006), C pi(0)pi(0) = -0.43 +/- 0.26 +/- 0.05, B(B-0 -> pi(0)pi(0)) = (1.83 +/- 0.21 +/- 0.13) x 10(-6), B(B-0 -> pi(0)pi(0)) = (10.1 +/- 0.6 +/- 0.4) x 10(-6), where in each case, the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. We observe CP violation with a significance of 6.7 standard deviations for B-0 -> pi(+)pi(-) and 6.1 standard deviations for B-0 -> K+pi(-), including systematic uncertainties. Constraints on the unitarity triangle angle alpha are determined from the isospin relations among the B -> pi pi rates and asymmetries. Considering only the solution preferred by the Standard Model, we find alpha to be in the range [71 degrees,109 degrees] at the 68% confidence level.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., & Oyanguren, A. (2018). Study of the process e(+)e(-) -> pi(+)pi(-)eta using initial state radiation. Phys. Rev. D, 97(5), 052007–14pp.
Abstract: We study the process e(+)e(-) -> pi(+)pi(-)eta gamma, where the photon is radiated from the initial state. About 8000 fully reconstructed events of this process are selected from the BABAR data sample with an integrated luminosity of 469 fb(-1). Using the pi(+)pi(-)eta invariant mass spectrum, we measure the e(+)e(-) -> pi(+)pi(-)eta cross section in the e(+)e(-) center-of-mass energy range from 1.15 to 3.5 GeV. The cross section is well described by the Vector-Meson dominance model with four.-like states. We observe 49 +/- 9 events of the J/Psi decay to pi(+)pi(-)eta and measure the product Gamma B-J/Psi -> e+e-(J/Psi ->pi+pi-eta) = 2.34 +/- 0.43(stat) +/- 0.16(syst) eV.

BABAR Collaboration(Lees, J. P. et al), Martinez-Vidal, F., & Oyanguren, A. (2012). Search for the Z(1)(4050)(+) and Z(2)(4250)(+) states in (B)over-bar(0) -> chi K-c1(-)pi(+) and B+ -> chi K-c1(S)0 pi(+). Phys. Rev. D, 85(5), 052003–12pp.
Abstract: We search for the Z(1)(4050)(+) and Z(2)(4250)(+) states, reported by the Belle Collaboration, decaying to chi(c1)pi(+) in the decays (B) over bar (0) -> chi K-c1(-)pi(+) and B+ -> chi K-c1(S)0 pi(+) where chi(c1) -> J/psi gamma. The data were collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider operating at center-of-mass energy 10.58 GeV, and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 429 fb(-1). In this analysis, we model the background-subtracted, efficiency-corrected chi(c1)pi(+) mass distribution using the K pi mass distribution and the corresponding normalized K pi Legendre-polynomial moments, and then test the need for the inclusion of resonant structures in the description of the chi(c1)pi(+) mass distribution. No evidence is found for the Z(1)(4050)(+) and Z(2)(4250)(+) resonances, and 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions are reported for the corresponding B-meson decay modes.
