Abstract: We study the molecular probability of the X(3872) in the D0 over bar D*0 and D+D*- channels in several scenarios. One of them assumes that the state is purely due to a genuine nonmolecular component. However, it gets unavoidably dressed by the meson components to the point that in the limit of zero binding of the D0 over bar D*0 component becomes purely molecular. Yet, the small but finite binding allows for a nonmolecular state when the bare mass of the genuine state approaches the D0 over bar D*0 threshold, but, in this case the system develops a small scattering length and a huge effective range for this channel in flagrant disagreement with present values of these magnitudes. Next we discuss the possibility to have hybrid states stemming from the combined effect of a genuine state and a reasonable direct interaction between the meson components, where we find cases in which the scattering length and effective range are still compatible with data, but even then the molecular probability is as big as 95%. Finally, we perform the calculations when the binding stems purely from the direct interaction between the meson-meson components. In summary we conclude, that while present data definitely rule out the possibility of a dominant nonmolecular component, the precise value of the molecular probability requires a more precise determination of the scattering length and effective range of the D0 over bar D*0 channel, as well as the measurement of these magnitudes for the D+D*- channel which have not been determined experimentally so far.

Bruschini, R., & Gonzalez, P. (2021). Diabatic description of bottomoniumlike mesons. Phys. Rev. D, 103(11), 114016–13pp.
Abstract: We apply the diabatic approach, specially suited for a QCD based study of conventional (quark-antiquark) and unconventional (quark-antiquark + meson-meson) meson states, to the description of hidden-bottom mesons. A spectral analysis of the I = 0, J(++) and 1(--) resonances with masses up to about 10.8 GeV is carried out. Masses and widths of all the experimentally known resonances, including conventional and unconventional states, can be well reproduced. In particular, we predict a significant B (B) over bar* component in Upsilon(10580). We also predict the existence of a not yet discovered unconventional 1(++) narrow state, with a significant B-s(B) over bar (s)* content making it to decay into Upsilon(1S)phi, whose experimental discovery would provide definite support to our theoretical analysis.

Dai, L. Y., Fuentes-Martin, J., & Portoles, J. (2019). Scalar-involved three-point Green functions and their phenomenology. Phys. Rev. D, 99(11), 114015–18pp.
Abstract: We analyze within the framework of resonance chiral theory the < SA(mu)A(nu >) and < SV μV nu > three-point Green functions, where S, A(mu) and V-mu are short for scalar, axial-vector and vector SU(3) hadronic currents. We construct the necessary Lagrangian such that the Green functions fulfill the asymptotic constraints, at large momenta, imposed by QCD at leading order. We study the implications of our results on the spectrum of scalars in the large-N-C limit, and analyze their decays.

Abstract: We perform a unitary coupled channel study of the interaction of the D*D-+(0), D*D-0(+) channels and find a state barely bound, very close to isospin I = 0. We take the experimental mass as input and obtain the width of the state and the (DD0 pi-)-D-0+ mass distribution. When the mass of the T-cc state quoted in the experimental paper from raw data is used, the width obtained is of the order of the 80 keV, small compared to the value given in that work. Yet, when the mass obtained in an analysis of the data considering the experimental resolution is taken, the width obtained is about 43 keV and both the width and the (DD0 pi+)-D-0 mass distribution are in remarkable agreement with the results obtained in that latter analysis.

Abstract: The running charm-quark mass in the scheme is determined from weighted finite energy QCD sum rules involving the vector current correlator. Only the short distance expansion of this correlator is used, together with integration kernels (weights) involving positive powers of s, the squared energy. The optimal kernels are found to be a simple pinched kernel and polynomials of the Legendre type. The former kernel reduces potential duality violations near the real axis in the complex s plane, and the latter allows us to extend the analysis to energy regions beyond the end point of the data. These kernels, together with the high energy expansion of the correlator, weigh the experimental and theoretical information differently from e. g. inverse moments finite energy sum rules. Current, state of the art results for the vector correlator up to four-loop order in perturbative QCD are used in the finite energy sum rules, together with the latest experimental data. The integration in the complex s plane is performed using three different methods: fixed order perturbation theory, contour improved perturbation theory, and a fixed renormalization scale mu. The final result is (m) over bar (c)(3 GeV) = 1008 +/- 26 MeV, in a wide region of stability against changes in the integration radius s(0) in the complex s plane.

Abstract: Using the coalescence model we compute the multiplicity of Z(cs)(3985)(-) (treated as a compact tetraquark) at the end of the quark gluon plasma phase in heavy ion collisions. Then we study the time evolution of this state in the hot hadron gas phase. We calculate the thermal cross sections for the collisions of the Z(cs)(3985)(-) with light mesons using effective Lagrangians and form factors derived from QCD sum rules for the vertices Z(cs)(D) over bar (s)* D and Z(cs)(D) over bar D-s*. We solve the kinetic equation and find how the Z(cs)(3985)(-) multiplicity is affected by the considered reactions during the expansion of the hadronic matter. A comparison with the statistical hadronization model predictions is presented. Our results show that the tetraquark yield increases by a factor of about 2-3 from the hadronization to the kinetic freeze-out. We also make predictions for the dependence of the Z(cs)(3985)(-) yield on the centrality, the center-of-mass energy and the charged hadron multiplicity measured at midrapidity [dN(ch)/d eta(eta < 0.5)].

Abstract: We study the behavior of strongly interacting matter under a uniform intense external magnetic field in the context of nonlocal extensions of the Polyakov-Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. A detailed description of the formalism is presented, considering the cases of zero and finite temperature. In particular, we analyze the effect of the magnetic field on the chiral restoration and deconfinement transitions, which are found to occur at approximately the same critical temperatures. Our results show that these models offer a natural framework to account for the phenomenon of inverse magnetic catalysis found in lattice QCD calculations.

Ikeno, N., Dias, J. M., Liang, W. H., & Oset, E. (2019). chi(c1) decays into a pseudoscalar meson and a vector-vector molecule. Phys. Rev. D, 100(11), 114011–7pp.
Abstract: We evaluate ratios of the chi(c1) decay rates to eta (eta', K-) and one of the f(0) (1370), f(0) (1710), f(2) (1270), f(2)'(1525), K-2*(1430) resonances, which in the local hidden gauge approach are dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction. With the simple assumption that the chi(c1) is a singlet of SU(3), and the input from the study of these resonances as vector-vector molecular states, we describe the experimental ratio B(chi(c1)-> eta f(2) (1270))/B(chi(c1) -> eta'f(2)' (1525)) and make predictions for six more ratios that can be tested in future experiments.

Paredes-Torres, G., Gutierrez-Guerrer, L. X., Bashir, A., & Miramontes, A. S. (2024). First radial excitations of mesons and diquarks in a contact interaction. Phys. Rev. D, 109(11), 114006–12pp.
Abstract: We present a calculation for the masses of the first radially excited states of 40 mesons and diquarks made up of u , d , s , c , and b quarks, including states that contain one or both heavy quarks. To this end, we employ a combined analysis of the Bethe-Salpeter and Schwinger-Dyson equations within a self-consistent and symmetry-preserving vector-vector contact interaction. The same set of parameters describes ground and excited states of mesons and their diquark partners. The wave function of the first radial excitation contains a zero whose location is correlated with an additional parameter d F which is a function of dressed quark masses. Our results satisfy the equal spacing rules given by the Gell-Mann Okubo mass relations. Wherever possible, we make comparisons of our findings with known experimental observations as well as theoretical predictions of several other models and approaches including lattice quantum chromodynamics, finding a very good agreement. We report predictions for a multitude of radial excitations not yet observed in experiments.

Wang, E., Xie, J. J., Geng, L. S., & Oset, E. (2019). The X(4140) and X(4160) resonances in the e(+)e(-) -> gamma J/psi phi reaction. Chin. Phys. C, 43(11), 113101–10pp.
Abstract: We investigate the J/psi phi invariant mass distribution in the e(+)e(-) -> gamma J/psi phi reaction at a center-of-mass energy of root s = 4.6 GeV measured by the BESIII collaboration, which concluded that no significant signals were observed for e(+)e(-) -> gamma J/psi phi because of the low statistics. We show, however, that the J/psi phi invariant mass distribution is compatible with the existence of the X(4140) state, appearing as a peak, and a strong cusp structure at the D-s*(D) over bar (s)* threshold, resulting from the molecular nature of the X(4160) state, which provides a substantial contribution to the reaction. This is consistent with our previous analysis of the B+ -> J psi phi K+ decay measured by the LHCb collaboration. We strongly suggest further measurements of this process with more statistics to clarify the nature of the X(4140) and X(4160) resonances.
