Abstract: The B-0, B-s(0), B+ and lambda(0)(b) hadron production asymmetries are measured using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fbc(-1), collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The measurements are performed as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity of the b hadrons within the LHCb detector acceptance. The overall production asymmetries, integrated over transverse momentum and rapidity, are also determined.

Abstract: A measurement of four branching-fraction ratios for three-body decays of B mesons involving two open-charm hadrons in the final state is presented. Run 1 and Run 2 pp collision data are used, recorded by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies 7, 8, and 13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). Abstract: A search is performed in the invariant mass spectrum of the B-c(+)pi(+) pi(-) system for the excited B-c(+) states B-c (2(1)S(0)) + and B-c(2(3)S(1)) + using a data sample of p p collisions collected by the LHCb experiment at the centre- of- mass energy of root s = 8TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2 fb(-1). No evidence is seen for either state. Upper limits on the ratios of the production cross- sections of the Bc (2(1)S(0)) + and B-c(2(3)S(1)) + states times the branching fractions of Bc (2(1)S(0))(+) -> B-c(+)pi(+) pi(-) and B-c (2(3) S-1)(+) -> B-c*(+)pi(+) pi(-) over the production cross- section of the B-c(+) state are given as a function of their masses. They are found to be between 0.02 and 0.14 at 95% con fi dence level for B-c (2(1)S(0)) + and B-c (2(3)S(1)) + in the mass ranges [6830; 6890] MeV/c(2) and [6795; 6890] MeV/c(2), respectively.

Abstract: A measurement of the production cross-section of Z bosons in pp collisions at root s=13 TeV is presented using dimuon and dielectron final states in LHCb data. The cross-section is measured for leptons with pseudorapidities in the range 2.0 < eta < 4.5, transverse momenta pT > 20 GeV and dilepton invariant mass in the range 60 < m(ll) < 120 GeV. The integrated cross-section from averaging the two final states is sigma(ll)(Z) = 194.3+/-0.9+/-3.3+/-7.6 pb, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is due to systematic effects, and the third is due to the luminosity determination. In addition, differential cross-sections are measured as functions of the Z boson rapidity, transverse momentum and the angular variable phi(eta)*.

Abstract: A new baryon state is observed in the Lambda(0)(b)pi(+)pi(-) mass spectrum with high significance using a data sample of pp collisions, collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies root s = 7, 8 and 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). The mass and natural width of the new state are measured to be m = 6072.3 +/- 2.9 +/- 0.6 +/- 0.2 MeV, Gamma = 72 +/- 11 +/- 2 MeV, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The third uncertainty for the mass is due to imprecise knowledge of the Lambda(0)(b) baryon mass. The new state is consistent with the first radial excitation of the Lambda(0)(b) baryon, the Lambda(b)(2S)(0) resonance. Updated measurements of the masses and the upper limits on the natural widths of the previously observed Lambda(b)(5912)(0) and Lambda(b)(5920)(0) states are also reported.

Abstract: The production cross-sections of Upsilon(1S), Upsilon(2S) and Upsilon(3S) mesons in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV are measured with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 277 +/- 11 pb(-1) recorded by the LHCb experiment in 2015. The Upsilon mesons are reconstructed in the decay mode Upsilon -> mu(+)mu(-). The differential production cross-sections times the dimuon branching fractions are measured as a function of the Upsilon transverse momentum, p(T) , and rapidity, y, over the range 0 < p(T) < 30 GeV/c and 2.0 < y < 4.5. The ratios of the cross-sections with respect to the LHCb measurement at root s = 8 TeV are also determined. The measurements are compared with theoretical predictions based on NRQCD.

Abstract: A search for B+ -> D-s(+) K+ K- decays is performed using pp collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.8 fb(-1), collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV with the LHCb experiment. A significant signal is observed for the first time and the branching fraction is determined to be B(B+ -> D-s(+) K+ K-) = (7.1 +/- 0.5 +/- 0.6 +/- 0.7) x 10(-6), where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third due to the uncertainty on the branching fraction of the normalisation mode B+ -> D-s(+)(D) over bar (0). A search is also performed for the pure annihilation decay B+ -> D-s(+)(D) over bar (0). No significant signal is observed and a limit of B(B+ -> D-s(+) phi) < 4.9 x 10(-7) (4.2 x 10(-7)) is set on the branching fraction at 95% (90%) confidence level.

Abstract: The Cabibbo-suppressed decay Lambda(0)(b) -> psi(2S)p pi(-) is observed for the fi rst time using a data sample collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions corresponding to 1.0, 2.0 and 1.9 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13TeV, respectively. The psi(2S) mesons are reconstructed in the mu(+)mu(-) fi nal state. The branching fraction with respect to that of the Lambda(0)(b) -> psi(2S)pK(-) decay mode is measured to be B (Lambda(0)(b) -> psi(2S)p pi(-))/B (Lambda(0)(b) -> psi(2S)pK(-)) = (11.44 +/- 1.3 +/- 0.2)%, where the fi rst uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The psi(2S) p and psi(2S)pi(-) mass spectra are investigated and no evidence for exotic resonances is found.

Abstract: A search is presented for the lepton flavour violating decay B+ -> K+mu (-)tau (+) using a sample of proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, collected with the LHCb detector and corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). The tau leptons are selected inclusively, primarily via decays with a single charged particle. The four-momentum of the tau lepton is determined by using B+ mesons from Bs20 -> B+K- decays. No significant excess is observed, and an upper limit is set on the branching fractionB(B+-> K+mu (-)tau (+))<3.9x10(-5)at90%confidence level.The obtained limit is comparable to the world-best limit.

Abstract: A search for CP violation in the Cabibbo-suppressed D-0 K+K-+- decay mode is performed using an amplitude analysis. The measurement uses a sample of pp collisions recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2011 and 2012, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1). The D-0 mesons are reconstructed from semileptonic b-hadron decays into D0-X final states. The selected sample contains more than 160 000 signal decays, allowing the most precise amplitude modelling of this D-0 decay to date. The obtained amplitude model is used to perform the search for CP violation. The result is compatible with CP symmetry, with a sensitivity ranging from 1% to 15% depending on the amplitude considered.
