Abstract: We use distribution amplitudes of the light Sigma baryon and the most general form of the interpolating current for heavy Sigma(b) baryon to investigate the semileptonic Sigma(b) -> Sigma l(+)l(-) transition in light cone QCD sum rules. We calculate all 12 form factors responsible for this transition and use them to evaluate the branching ratio of the considered channel. The order of branching fraction shows that this channel can be detected at LHC.

Abstract: We have performed a calculation of the scattering amplitude for the three-body system (K) over bar NN assuming (K) over bar scattering against a NN cluster using the fixed center approximation to the Faddeev equations. The (K) over bar N amplitudes, which we take from chiral unitary dynamics, govern the reaction and we find a (K) over bar NN amplitude that peaks around 40 MeV below the (K) over bar NN threshold, with a width in |T|(2) of the order of 50 MeV for spin 0 and has another peak around 27 MeV with similar width for spin 1. The results are in line with those obtained using different methods but implementing chiral dynamics. The simplicity of the approach allows one to see the important ingredients responsible for the results. In particular, we show the effects from the reduction of the size of the NN cluster due to the interaction with the (K) over bar and those from the explicit consideration of the pi Sigma N channel in the three-body equations.

Abstract: We have investigated a charmed system of DNN (composed of two nucleons and a D meson) by a complementary study with a variational calculation and a Faddeev calculation with fixed-center approximation (Faddeev-FCA). In the present study, we employ a DN potential based on a vector-meson exchange picture in which a resonant A(c)(2595) is dynamically generated as a DN quasi-bound state, similarly to the A(1405) as a (K) over barN one in the strange sector. As a result of the study of variational calculation with an effective DN potential and three kinds of NN potentials, the DNN(J(pi) =0(-), I = 1/2) is found to be a narrow quasi-bound state below A(c)(2595)N threshold: total binding energy similar to 225 MeV and mesonic decay width similar to 25 MeV. On the other hand, the J(pi) =1(-) state is considered to be a scattering state of A(c)(2595) and a nucleon. These results are essentially supported by the Faddeev-FCA calculation. By the analysis of the variational wave function, we have found a unique structure in the DNN(J(pi) = 0, I = 1/2) such that the D meson stays around the center of the total system due to the heaviness of the D meson.

Abstract: We study the semileptonic decay of B-c(-) meson into & Unknown;l(-) and the isospin zero X (3930) (2(++)), X(3940) (0(++)), X (4160) (2(++)) resonances. We look at the reaction from the perspective that these resonaces appear as dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction in the charm sector, and couple strongly to D*& Unknown;D* and D-s*& Unknown;D-s*. We also look into the B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D*& Unknown;* and B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D-s*& Unknown;(s)* reactions close to threshold and relate the D*& Unknown;* and D-s*& Unknown;(s)* mass distribution to the rate of production of the X resonances.

Abstract: We study the D+ -> pi(+) eta eta and D+ -> pi(+)pi(0) eta reactions, which are single Cabibbo suppressed and can proceed both through internal and external emission. The primary mechanisms at quark level are considered, followed by hadronization to produce three mesons in the D+ decay, and after that the final state interaction of these mesons leads to the production of the a(0)(980) resonance, seen in the pi(+)eta, pi(0)eta mass distributions. The theory has three unknown parameters to determine the shape of the distributions and the ratio between the D+ -> pi(+) eta eta and D+ -> pi(+)pi(0) eta rates. This ratio restricts much the sets of parameters but there is still much freedom leading to different shapes in the mass distributions. We call for a measurement of these mass distributions that will settle the reaction mechanism, while at the same time provide relevant information on the way that the a(0)(980) resonance is produced in the reactions.
