Abstract |
We have reviewed the renormalization procedure used in the unitarized coupled-channel model of Romanets et al. (Phys Rev D 85: 114032, 2012), and its impact in the C = 1, S = -2, and I = 0 sector, where five Omega((*))(c) states have been recently observed by the LHCb Collaboration. The meson-baryon interactions used in the model are consistent with both chiral and heavy-quark spin symmetries, and lead to a successful description of the observed lowest-lying odd parity resonances Lambda(c)(2595) and Lambda(c)(2625), and Lambda(b)(5912) and Lambda(b)(5920) resonances. We show that some (probably at least three) of the states observed by LHCb will also have odd parity and J = 1/2 or J = 3/2, belonging two of them to the same SU(6)(light-spin-flavor) x HQSS multiplets as the latter charmed and beauty Lambda baryons. |

Abstract |
In this paper, we have estimated the neutrino mass ordering and the CP violation sensitivity of the proposed Protvino to ORCA (P2O) experiment after 6 years of data-taking. Both unitary and non-unitary 3x3\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$3\times 3$$\end{document} neutrino mass mixing have been considered in the simulations. A forecast analysis deriving possible future constraints on non-unitary parameters at P2O have been performed. |

Abstract |
The performance of the ATLAS muon trigger system is evaluated with proton-proton collision data collected in 2012 at the Large Hadron Collider at a centre-of-mass energy of 8TeV. It is primarily evaluated using events containing a pair of muons from the decay of Z bosons. The efficiency of the single-muon trigger is measured for muons with transverse momentum 25 < pT < 100 GeV, with a statistical uncertainty of less than 0.01% and a systematic uncertainty of 0.6%. The pT range for efficiency determination is extended by using muons from decays of J/Psi mesons, W bosons, and top quarks. The muon trigger shows highly uniform and stable performance. The performance is compared to the prediction of a detailed simulation. |

Abstract |
This paper describes a strategy for a general search used by the ATLAS Collaboration to find potential indications of new physics. Events are classified according to their final state into many event classes. For each event class an automated search algorithm tests whether the data are compatible with the Monte Carlo simulated expectation in several distributions sensitive to the effects of new physics. The significance of a deviation is quantified using pseudo-experiments. A data selection with a significant deviation defines a signal region for a dedicated follow-up analysis with an improved background expectation. The analysis of the data-derived signal regions on a new dataset allows a statistical interpretation without the large look-elsewhere effect. The sensitivity of the approach is discussed using Standard Model processes and benchmark signals of new physics. As an example, results are shown for 3.2fb-1 of proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV collected with the ATLAS detector at the LHC in 2015, in which more than 700 event classes and more than 105 regions have been analysed. No significant deviations are found and consequently no data-derived signal regions for a follow-up analysis have been defined. |

Abstract |
We study the B-0 decay to D-0 D-0 K-0 based on the chiral unitary approach, which generates the X(3720) resonance, and we make predictions for the D D invariant mass distribution. From the shape of the distribution, the existence of the resonance below threshold could be induced. We also predict the rate of production of the X(3720) resonance to the D D mass distribution with no free parameters. |
