Abstract: A search for the neutrinoless, lepton-flavor violating decay of the tau lepton into three charged leptons has been performed using an integrated luminosity of 468 fb(-1) collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II collider. In all six decay modes considered, the numbers of events found in data are compatible with the background expectations. Upper limits on the branching fractions are set in the range (1.8-3.3) x 10(-8) at 90% confidence level.

Abstract: Based on 122 X 10(6)Y(3S) events collected with the BABAR detector, we have observed the Y(1(3)D(J)) bottomonium state through the Y(3S) -> gamma gamma Y(1(3)D(J)) -> gamma gamma pi(+)pi Y-(1S) decay chain. The significance for the J = 2 member of the Y(1(3)D(J)) triplet is 5.8 standard deviations including systematic uncertainties. The mass of the J = 2 state is determined to be 10 164.5 +/- 0.8(stat) +/- 0.5(syst) MeV/c(2). We use the pi(+)pi(-) invariant mass distribution to confirm the consistency of the observed state with the orbital angular momentum assignment of the Y(1(3)D(J)).

Abstract: The SciBooNE Collaboration reports a measurement of neutral current coherent pi(0) production on carbon by a muon neutrino beam with average energy 0.8 GeV. The separation of coherent from inclusive pi(0) production has been improved by detecting recoil protons from resonant pi(0) production. We measure the ratio of the neutral current coherent pi(0) production to total charged current cross sections to be 1.16 +/- 0.24) x 10(-2). The ratio of charged current coherent pi(+) to neutral current coherent pi(0) production is calculated to be 0.14(-0.28)(+0.30), using our published charged current coherent pion measurement.

Abstract: We search for CP violation in a sample of 4.7 x 10(4) Cabibbo suppressed D-0 -> K+K-pi(+)pi(-) decays. We use 470 fb(-1) of data recorded by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) storage rings running at center-of-mass energies near 10.6 GeV. CP violation is searched for in the difference between the T-odd asymmetries, obtained using triple product correlations, measured for D-0 and (D) over bar (0) decays. The measured CP violation parameter is A(T) = (1.0 +/- 5.1(stat) +/- 4.4(syst)) x 10(-3).
