| Abstract |
We search for CP violation in a sample of 4.7 x 10(4) Cabibbo suppressed D-0 -> K+K-pi(+)pi(-) decays. We use 470 fb(-1) of data recorded by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) storage rings running at center-of-mass energies near 10.6 GeV. CP violation is searched for in the difference between the T-odd asymmetries, obtained using triple product correlations, measured for D-0 and (D) over bar (0) decays. The measured CP violation parameter is A(T) = (1.0 +/- 5.1(stat) +/- 4.4(syst)) x 10(-3). |

| Abstract |
The ratio R-tau mu(Y(1S)) = Gamma Y(1S)->tau(+)tau(-)/Gamma(+)(-)(Y(1S)->mu)(mu) is measured using a sample of (121.8 +/- 1.2) x 10(6)Y(3S) events recorded by the BABAR detector. This measurement is intended as a test of lepton universality and as a search for a possible light pseudoscalar Higgs boson. In the standard model (SM) this ratio is expected to be close to 1. Any significant deviations would violate lepton universality and could be introduced by the coupling to a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson. The analysis studies the decays Y(3S) -> Y(1S)pi(+)pi(-), Y(1S) -> l(+)l(-), where l = mu, tau. The result, R-tau μ(Y(1S)) = 1.005 +/- 0.013(stat) +/- 0.022(syst), shows no deviation from the expected SM value, while improving the precision with respect to previous measurements. |

| Abstract |
Searches for B mesons decaying to final states containing a baryon and a lepton are performed, where the baryon is either Lambda(c) or Lambda and the lepton is a muon or an electron. These decays violate both baryon and lepton number and would be a signature of physics beyond the standard model. No significant signal is observed in any of the decay modes, and upper limits in the range (3.2-520) x 10(-8) are set on the branching fractions at the 90% confidence level. |

| Abstract |
We report the observation of the decay B(-) -> D(s)(()*()+)K(-)l(-)(nu) over bar (l) based on 342 fb(-1) of data collected at the Y(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II e(+)e(-) storage rings at SLAC. A simultaneous fit to three D(s)(+) decay chains is performed to extract the signal yield from measurements of the squared missing mass in the B meson decay. We observe the decay B(-) -> D(s)(()*()+)K(-)l(-)(nu) over bar (l) with a significance greater than 5 standard deviations (including systematic uncertainties) and measure its branching fraction to be B(B(-) -> D(s)(()*())K(-)l(-)(nu) over bar (l) = [6.13(-1.03)(+1.04)(stat) +/- 0.43(syst) +/- 0.51 (B(D(s)))] X 10(-4), where the last error reflects the limited knowledge of the D(s) branching fractions. |

We study the reactions e(+)e(-) --> e(+)e(-) eta((')) in the single-tag mode and measure the gamma gamma* --> eta((')) transition form factors in the momentum-transfer range from 4 to 40 GeV(2). The analysis is based on 469 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected at PEP-II with the BABAR detector at e(+)e(-) center-of-mass energies near 10.6 GeV. |
