Alharbi, T. et al, & Algora, A. (2013). Electromagnetic transition rates in the N=80 nucleus Ce-138(58). Phys. Rev. C, 87(1), 014323–7pp.
Abstract: The half-life of the I-pi = 6(+) yrast state at E-x = 2294 keV in Ce-138 has been measured as T-1/2 = 880(19) ps using the fast-timing gamma-ray coincidence method with a mixed LaBr3(Ce)-HPGe array. The excited states in Ce-138 have been populated by the Te-130(C-12, 4n) fusion-evaporation reaction at an incident beam energy of 56 MeV. The extracted B(E2; 6(1)(+) -> 4(1)(+)) = 0.101(24) W.u. value is compared with the predictions of truncated basis shell model calculations and with the systematics of the region. This shows an anomalous behavior compared to the neighboring isotonic and isotopic chains. Half-lives for the yrast 5(-), 11(+) and 14(+) states in Ce-138 have also been determined in this work.

Bernabeu, J., Di Domenico, A., & Villanueva-Perez, P. (2013). Direct test of time reversal symmetry in the entangled neutral kaon system at a phi-factory. Nucl. Phys. B, 868(1), 102–119.
Abstract: We present a novel method to perform a direct T (time reversal) symmetry test in the neutral kaon system, independent of any CP and/or CPT symmetry tests. This is based on the comparison of suitable transition probabilities, where the required interchange of in <-> out states for a given process is obtained exploiting the Einstein-Podolski-Rosen correlations of neutral kaon pairs produced at a phi-factory. In the time distribution between the two decays, we compare a reference transition like the one defined by the time-ordered decays (l(-), pi pi) with the T-conjugated one defined by (3 pi(0), l(+)). With the use of this and other T-conjugated comparisons, the KLOE-2 experiment at DA Phi NE could make a statistically significant test.

Alvarez-Ruso, L., Nieves, J., Ruiz Simo, I., Valverde, M., & Vicente Vacas, M. J. (2013). Charged kaon production by coherent scattering of neutrinos and antineutrinos on nuclei. Phys. Rev. C, 87(1), 015503–11pp.
Abstract: With the aim of achieving a better and more complete understanding of neutrino interactions with nuclear targets, the coherent production of charged kaons induced by neutrinos and antineutrinos is investigated in the energy range of some of the current neutrino experiments. We follow a microscopic approach which, at the nucleon level, incorporates the most important mechanisms allowed by the chiral-symmetry-breaking pattern of QCD. The distortion of the outgoing K ((K) over bar) is taken into account by solving the Klein-Gordon equation with realistic optical potentials. Angular and momentum distributions, as well as the energy and nuclear dependence of the total cross section, are studied.

n_TOF Collaboration(Tagliente, G. et al.), Domingo-Pardo, C., & Tain, J. L. (2013). The Zr-93(n, gamma) reaction up to 8 keV neutron energy. Phys. Rev. C, 87(1), 014622–7pp.
Abstract: The (n, gamma) reaction of the radioactive isotope Zr-93 has been measured at the n_TOF high-resolution time-of-flight facility at CERN. Resonance parameters have been extracted in the neutron energy range up to 8 keV, yielding capture widths smaller (14%) than reported in an earlier experiment. These results are important for detailed nucleosynthesis calculations and for refined studies of waste transmutation concepts. DOI: 10.1103/PhysRevC.87.014622

Abstract: The Lie algebras expansion method is used to show that the four-dimensional spacetime Maxwell (super)algebras and some of their generalizations can be derived in a simple way as particular expansions of o(3,2) and osp(N vertical bar 4).
