Title Precision Spectroscopy of Deeply Bound Pionic Atoms and Partial Restoration of Chiral Symmetry in Medium Type Journal Article
Year 2011 Publication Progress of Theoretical Physics Abbreviated Journal Prog. Theor. Phys.
Volume 126 Issue 3 Pages 483-509
Keywords
Abstract We study theoretically the formation spectra of deeply bound pionic atoms expected to be observed by experiments with high energy resolution at RIBF/RIKEN, and we discuss in detail the possibilities to extract new information on the pion properties at finite density from the observed spectra, which may provide information on partial restoration of chiral symmetry in medium. We find that the non-yrast pionic states such as 2s are expected to be seen in the (d,(3)He) spectra, which will be helpful to reduce uncertainties of the theoretical calculations in the neutron wave functions in nucleus. The observation of the 2s state with the ground is state is also helpful to reduce the experimental uncertainties associated in the calibration of the absolute excitation energy. We find that the nuclear densities probed by atomic pions are quite stable and almost constant for various atomic states and various nuclei. Effects of the pion wave function renormalization to the formation spectra are also evaluated.

Title chi(c1) decays into a pseudoscalar meson and a vector-vector molecule Type Journal Article
Year 2019 Publication Physical Review D Abbreviated Journal Phys. Rev. D
Volume 100 Issue 11 Pages 114011 - 7pp
Keywords
Abstract We evaluate ratios of the chi(c1) decay rates to eta (eta', K-) and one of the f(0) (1370), f(0) (1710), f(2) (1270), f(2)'(1525), K-2*(1430) resonances, which in the local hidden gauge approach are dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction. With the simple assumption that the chi(c1) is a singlet of SU(3), and the input from the study of these resonances as vector-vector molecular states, we describe the experimental ratio B(chi(c1)-> eta f(2) (1270))/B(chi(c1) -> eta'f(2)' (1525)) and make predictions for six more ratios that can be tested in future experiments.

Title D+ → Ks0 π+ η reaction and a0(980)+ Type Journal Article
Year 2024 Publication European Physical Journal C Abbreviated Journal Eur. Phys. J. C
Volume 84 Issue 5 Pages 469 - 9pp
Keywords
Abstract We study the D+ -> K- 0 pi (+) eta reaction where the a(0)(980) excitation plays a dominant role. We consider mechanisms of external and internal emission at the quark level, hadronize the qq components into two mesons and allow these mesons to undergo final state interaction where the a(0)(980) state is generated. While the a(0)(980) production is the dominant term, we also find other terms in the reaction that interfere with this production mode and, through interference with it, lead to a shape of the a(0)(980) significantly different from the one observed in other experiments, with an apparently much larger width.

Title Meson exchange between initial and final state and the R-D ratio in the B-bar -> D nu-bar l (nu_tau-bar tau) reactions Type Journal Article
Year 2020 Publication European Physical Journal A Abbreviated Journal Eur. Phys. J. A
Volume 56 Issue 2 Pages 73 - 12pp
Keywords
Abstract We perform a calculation of the strong interaction effects between the B and D mesons in the B -> D nu l reaction, as a crossing process of reactions with BD in the final state, where the strong interaction between the mesons leads to a bound BD state. We find corrections to the tree level amplitude of the order of 15-25%. We further see the effect of the corrections studied in the R-D ratio for the rates of B -> D nu and B. D decays and find corrections of the order of 10%. Given the claims of 1.5% precision in this ratio from fits to data within the standardmodel, any theoretical model aiming at describing this ratio within the same precision must take into account the corrections described in the present work.

Title Semileptonic decay of B-c(-) into X (3930), X (3940), X (4160) Type Journal Article
Year 2018 Publication European Physical Journal C Abbreviated Journal Eur. Phys. J. C
Volume 78 Issue 5 Pages 429 - 7pp
Keywords
Abstract We study the semileptonic decay of B-c(-) meson into & Unknown;l(-) and the isospin zero X (3930) (2(++)), X(3940) (0(++)), X (4160) (2(++)) resonances. We look at the reaction from the perspective that these resonaces appear as dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction in the charm sector, and couple strongly to D*& Unknown;D* and D-s*& Unknown;D-s*. We also look into the B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D*& Unknown;* and B-c(-) -> & Unknown;(l)l(-) D-s*& Unknown;(s)* reactions close to threshold and relate the D*& Unknown;* and D-s*& Unknown;(s)* mass distribution to the rate of production of the X resonances.
