Title Status and implications of neutrino masses: a brief panorama Type Journal Article
Year 2015 Publication International Journal of Modern Physics A Abbreviated Journal Int. J. Mod. Phys. A
Volume 30 Issue 13 Pages 1530034 - 13pp
Keywords Neutrino mixing and oscillations; seesaw mechanism; quark-lepton unification; flavor symmetry; electroweak symmetry breaking; neutrinoless double beta decay; dark matter; inflation
Abstract With the historic discovery of the Higgs boson our picutre of particle physics would have been complete were it nor for the neutrino sector and cosmology. I briefly discuss the role of neutrino masses and mixing upon gauge coupling unification, electroweak breaking and the flavor sector. Time is ripe for new discoveries such as leptonic CP violation, charged lepton flavor violation and neutrinoless double beta decay. Neutrinos could also play a role is elucidating the nature of dark matter and cosmic inflation.

Title Skyrmions at high density Type Journal Article
Year 2017 Publication International Journal of Modern Physics E Abbreviated Journal Int. J. Mod. Phys. E
Volume 26 Issue 1-2 Pages 1740029 - 15pp
Keywords Quark; pion; Skyrmion; dilation
Abstract The phase diagram of quantum chromodynamics is conjectured to have a rich structure containing at least three forms of matter: hadronic nuclear matter, quarkyonic matter and quark-gluon plasma. We justify the origin of the quarkyonic phase transition in a chiral-quark model and describe its formulation in terms of Skyrme crystals.

Title Heavy Hadron Spectroscopy: A Quark Model Perspective Type Journal Article
Year 2013 Publication International Journal of Modern Physics E Abbreviated Journal Int. J. Mod. Phys. E
Volume 22 Issue 5 Pages 1330011 - 25pp
Keywords Heavy hadrons; constituent quark model; many-quark systems
Abstract We present recent results of hadron spectroscopy and hadron hadron interaction from the perspective of constituent quark models. We pay special attention to the role played by higher-order hock space components in the hadron spectra and the connection of this extension with the hadron-hadron interaction. The main goal of our description is to obtain a coherent understanding of the low-energy hadron phenomenology without enforcing any particular model, to constrain its characteristics and learn about the low-energy realization of the theory.

Title The International Linear Collider Project-Its Physics and Status Type Journal Article
Year 2021 Publication Symmetry-Basel Abbreviated Journal Symmetry-Basel
Volume 13 Issue 4 Pages 674 - 15pp
Keywords Higgs particle; elementary particles; standard theory; linear collider; dark matter; top quark
Abstract The discovery of Higgs particle has ushered in a new era of particle physics. Even though the list of members of the standard theory of particle physics is now complete, the shortcomings of the theory became ever more acute. It is generally considered that the best solution to the problems is an electron-positron collider that can study Higgs particle with high precision and high sensitivity; namely, a Higgs factory. Among a few candidates for Higgs factory, the International Linear Collider (ILC) is currently the most advanced in its program. In this article, we review the physics and the project status of the ILC including its energy expandability.
