A search for CP violation in D-0 -> pi(-)pi(+)pi(0) decays is reported, using pp collision data collected by the LHCb experiment from 2015 to 2018 corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb(-1). An unbinned model-independent approach provides sensitivity to local CP violation within the two-dimensional phase space of the decay. The method is validated using the Cabibbo-favoured channel D-0 -> K-pi(+)pi(0) and background regions of the signal mode. The results are consistent with CP symmetry in this decay. |

A search for CP violation in D-0 -> (KSK+)-K-0 pi(-) and D-0 -> (KSK-)-K-0 pi(+) decays is reported. The search is performed using an unbinned model-independent method known as the energy test that probes local CP violation in the phase space of the decays. The data analysed correspond to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb(-1) collected in proton-proton collisions by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 13TeV, amounting to approximately 950 thousand and 620 thousand signal candidates for the D-0 -> (KSK-)-K-0 pi(+) and D-0 -> (KSK+)-K-0 pi(-) modes, respectively. The method is validated using D-0 -> K-pi(+)pi(-)pi(+) and D-0 -> K-S(0)pi(+)pi(-) decays, where CP-violating effects are expected to be negligible, and using background-enhanced regions of the signal decays. The results are consistent with CP symmetry in both the D-0 -> (KSK-)-K-0 pi(+) and the D-0 -> (KSK+)-K-0 pi(-) decays, with p-values for the hypothesis of no CP violation of 70% and 66%, respectively. |

A model-independent study of CP violation in B-0 -> DK (*0) decays is presented using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of v s = 7, 8 and 13TeV. The CKM angle. is determined by examining the distributions of signal decays in phase-space bins of the self-conjugate D. K(S)(0)h(+) h(-) decays, where h = p, K. Observables related to CP violation are measured and the angle. is determined to be = (49+22 -19). Measurements of the amplitude ratio and strong-phase difference between the favoured and suppressed B-0 decays are also presented. |

A measurement of the CP-violating observables from B -> (DK +/-)-K-* and B-+/- -> D-*pi(+/-) decays is presented, where D-*(D) is an admixture of D-*0 and D-0 (D-0 and (0)) states and is reconstructed through the decay chains D-*-> D pi(0)/gamma and D -> KS0 pi+pi-/KS0K+K-. The measurement is performed by analysing the signal yield variation across the D decay phase space and is independent of any amplitude model. The data sample used was collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions and corresponds to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1) at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The CKM angle gamma is determined to be (69(-14)(+13))degrees using the measured CP-violating observables. The hadronic parameters r(B)(D)*(K +/-),r(B)(D)*(pi +/-),delta(D)(B)*(K +/-),delta(D)(B)*(pi +/-), which are the ratios and strong phase differences between favoured and suppressed B-+/- decays, are also reported. |

A measurement of D-0 meson production by the LHCb experiment in its fixed-target configuration is presented. The production of D-0 mesons is studied with a beam of 2.5 TeV protons colliding on a gaseous neon target at rest, corresponding to a nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy of root s(NN) = 68.5 GeV. The sum of the D-0 and (D-0) over bar production cross-section in pNe collisions in the centre-of-mass rapidity range y(star) is an element of[-2.29, 0] is found to be sigma(y star is an element of[-2.29, 0])(D0) = 48.2 +/- 0.3 +/- 4.5 μb/nucleon where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The D-0 – (D-0) over bar production asymmetry is also evaluated and suggests a trend towards negative values at large negative y(star). The considered models do not account precisely for all the features observed in the LHCb data, but theoretical predictions including 1% intrinsic charm and 10% recombination contributions better describe the data than the other models considered. |
