Abstract: The first untagged decay-time-integrated amplitude analysis of B 0 s ! K 0 S K decays is performed using a sample corresponding to 3: 0 fb of pp collision data recorded with the LHCb detector during 2011 and 2012. The data are described with an amplitude model that contains contributions from the intermediate resonances K 9892) 0;+, K 2 91430) 0;+ and K 0 91430) 0;+, and their charge conjugates. Measurements of the branching fractions of the decay modes B 0 s ! K 9892) K and B 0 s ! K 9892) 0 K 0 are in agreement with, and more precise than, previous results. The decays B 0 s ! K 0 91430) K and B 0 s ! K 0 91430) 0 K 0 are observed for the fi rst time, each with signi fi cance over 10 standard deviations.

First Measurement of the Z -> mu(+) mu(-) Angular Coefficients in the Forward Region of pp Collisions at root s=13 TeV. Phys. Rev. Lett., 129(9), 091801–11pp.
Abstract: The first study of the angular distribution of mu(+) mu(-) pairs produced in the forward rapidity region via the Drell-Yan reaction pp -> gamma*/Z + X -> l(+) l(-) + X is presented, using data collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.1 fb(-1). The coefficients of the five leading terms in the angular distribution are determined as a function of the dimuon transverse momentum and rapidity. The results are compared to various theoretical predictions of the Z-boson production mechanism and can also be used to probe transverse-momentum-dependent parton distributions within the proton.

LHCb Collaboration(Aaij, R. et al), Jaimes Elles, S. J., Jashal, B. K., Martinez-Vidal, F., Oyanguren, A., Rebollo De Miguel, M., et al. (2023). A study of CP violation in the decays B± → [K+ K- π+π-]Dh± (h = K, π) and B± → [π+ π- π+ π-]Dh±. Eur. Phys. J. C, 83(6), 547–23pp.
Abstract: The first study of CP violation in the decay mode B-+/- -> [K+K-pi(+)pi(-)](D)h(+/-), with h = K, pi, is presented, exploiting a data sample of proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9fb(-1). The analysis is performed in bins of phase space, which are optimised for sensitivity to local CP asymmetries. CP-violating observables that are sensitive to the angle gamma of the Unitarity Triangle are determined. The analysis requires external information on charm-decay parameters, which are currently taken from an amplitude analysis of LHCb data, but can be updated in the future when direct measurements become available. Measurements are also performed of phase-space integrated observables for B-+/- -> [K+K-pi(+)pi(-)](D)h(+/-) and B-+/- -> [pi(+)pi(-)pi(+)pi(-)](D)h(+/-) decays.

LHCb Collaboration(Aaij, R. et al), Jaimes Elles, S. J., Jashal, B. K., Martinez-Vidal, F., Oyanguren, A., Rebollo De Miguel, M., et al. (2023). Test of Lepton Universality in b → sl+l- Decays. Phys. Rev. Lett., 131(5), 051803–13pp.
Abstract: The first simultaneous test of muon-electron universality using B+ -> K(+)l(+)l(-) and B-0 -> K*(0)l(+) l(-) decays is performed, in two ranges of the dilepton invariant-mass squared, q(2). The analysis uses beauty mesons produced in proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector between 2011 and 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). Each of the four lepton universality measurements reported is either the first in the given q(2) interval or supersedes previous LHCb measurements. The results are compatible with the predictions of the Standard Model.

LHCb Collaboration(Aaij, R. et al), Jashal, B. K., Martinez-Vidal, F., Oyanguren, A., Remon Alepuz, C., & Ruiz Vidal, J. (2022). Search for the radiative Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)gamma decay. J. High Energy Phys., 01(1), 069–20pp.
Abstract: The first search for the rare radiative decay Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)gamma is performed using data collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb(-1). The Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)-J/ psi channel is used as normalization. No Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)gamma signal is found and an upper limit of B(Xi(-)(b) -> Xi(-)gamma) < 1.3 x 10(-4) at 95% confidence level is obtained.
