Abstract: An analysis of the decays of B--/+ -> DK -/+ and B--/+ -> D pi(-/+) is presented in which the D meson is reconstructed in the three-body final states K--/+pi(+/-)pi(0), pi(+)pi(-)pi(0) and K+K-pi(0). Using data from LHCb corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1) of pp collisions, measurements of several CP observables are performed. First observations are obtained of the suppressed Atwood-Dunietz-Soni decay B--/+ -> [pi K-+(+/-)pi(0)](D)pi(-/+) and the quasi-Gronau-London-Wyler decay B--/+ -> [K+K-pi(0)](D)pi(-/+). The results are interpreted in the context of the unitarity triangle angle gamma and related parameters.

Abstract: An expansion of the electromagnetic form factors of the nucleon and Delta(1232) in small momentum transfer and pion mass is performed in a manifestly covariant EFT framework consistent with chiral symmetry and analyticity. We present the expressions for the nucleon and Delta(1232) electromagnetic form factors, charge radii, and electromagnetic moments in the framework of SU(2) baryon chiral perturbation theory, with nucleon and Delta-isobar degrees of freedom, to next-to-leading order. Motivated by the results for the proton electric radius obtained from the muonic-hydrogen atom and electron-scattering process, we extract values for the second derivative of the electric form factor which is a genuine prediction of the p(3) B chi PT. The chiral behavior of radii and moments is studied and compared to that obtained in the heavy-baryon framework and lattice QCD. The chiral behavior of Delta(1232)-isobar properties exhibits cusps and singularities at the threshold of Delta -> pi N decay, and their physical significance is discussed.

Abstract: An extra dark radiation component can be present in the universe in the form of sterile neutrinos, axions or other very light degrees of freedom which may interact with the dark matter sector. We derive here the cosmological constraints on the dark radiation abundance, on its effective velocity and on its viscosity parameter from current data in dark radiation-dark matter coupled models. The cosmological bounds on the number of extra dark radiation species do not change significantly when considering interacting schemes. We also find that the constraints on the dark radiation effective velocity are degraded by an order of magnitude while the errors on the viscosity parameter are a factor of two larger when considering interacting scenarios. If future Cosmic Microwave Background data are analyzed assuming a noninteracting model but the dark radiation and the dark matter sectors interact in nature, the reconstructed values for the effective velocity and for the viscosity parameter will be shifted from their standard 1/3 expectation, namely c(eff)(2) = 0.34(-0.003)(+0.006) and c(vis)(2) = 0.29(-0.001)(+0.002) at 95% C.L. for the future COrE mission data.

Abstract: An improved measurement of the decay B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-) and searches for the decays B-0 -> mu(+)mu(-) and B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-)gamma are performed at the LHCb experiment using data collected in proton-proton collisions at root s = 7, 8 and 13 TeV, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1, 2 and 6 fb(-1), respectively. The B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-) branching fraction and effective lifetime are measured to be B(B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-)) = (3.09(-0.43-0.11)(+0.46+0.15)) x 10(-9) and tau(B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-)) = (2.07 +/- 0.29 +/- 0.03) ps, respectively, where the uncertain-ties include both statistical and systematic contributions. No significant signal for B-0 -> mu(+)mu(-) and B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-) gamma decays is found and the upper limits B(B-0 -> mu(+)mu(-)) < 2.6 x 10(-10) and B(B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-)gamma) 2.0 x 10(-9) at 95% confidence level are determined, where the latter is limited to the range m(mu mu) > 4.9 GeV/c(2). Additionally, the ratio between the B-0 -> mu(+)mu(-) and B-s(0) -> mu(+)mu(-) branching fractions is measured to be R mu+mu- < 0.095 at 95% confidence level. The results are in agreement with the Standard Model predictions.

Abstract: An improved measurement of the mass of the Higgs boson is derived from a combined fit to the reconstructed invariant mass spectra of the decay channels H -> gamma gamma and H -> ZZ* -> 4l. The analysis uses the pp collision data sample recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider at center-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 25 fb(-1). The measured value of the Higgs boson mass is m(H) = 125.36 +/- 0.37(stat) +/- 0.18 (syst) GeV. This result is based on improved energy-scale calibrations for photons, electrons, and muons as well as other analysis improvements, and supersedes the previous result from ATLAS. Upper limits on the total width of the Higgs boson are derived from fits to the invariant mass spectra of the H -> gamma gamma and H -> ZZ* -> 4l decay channels.
