Title Semileptonic decays of light quarks beyond the Standard Model Type Journal Article
Year 2010 Publication Nuclear Physics B Abbreviated Journal Nucl. Phys. B
Volume 830 Issue 1-2 Pages 95-115
Keywords Semileptonic decays; CKM unitarity; Effective theory; Beyond the Standard Model
Abstract (up) We describe non-standard contributions to semileptonic processes in a model independent way in terms of in SU(2)(L) x U(1)(Y) invariant effective lagrangian at the weak scale, front which we derive the low-energy effective lagrangian governing muon and beta decays. We find that the deviation from Cabibbo universality, Delta(CKM) equivalent to vertical bar V-ud vertical bar(2) + vertical bar V-us vertical bar(2) + vertical bar V-ub vertical bar(2) – 1, receives contributions from four effective operators. The phenomenological bound Delta(CKM) = (-1 +/- 6) x 10(-4) provides strong constraints on all four operators, corresponding to art effective scale Lambda > 11 TeV (90% CL). Depending on the operator, this constraint is at the same level or better then the Z pole observables. Conversely, precision electroweak constraints alone would allow universality violations as large as Delta(CKM) = -0.01 (90% CL). An observed Delta(CKM) not equal 0 at this level Could be explained in terms of a single four-fermion operator which is relatively poorly constrained by electroweak precision measurements.

Title Searching for hidden sector in multiparticle production at LHC Type Journal Article
Year 2016 Publication Physics Letters B Abbreviated Journal Phys. Lett. B
Volume 754 Issue Pages 353-359
Keywords pp interactions at LHC; Models beyond the Standard Model; Multihadron correlations; Hidden Valley models; Factorial and cumulant moments
Abstract (up) We study the impact of a hidden sector beyond the Standard Model, e.g. a Hidden Valley model, on factorial moments and cumulants of multiplicity distributions in multiparticle production with a special emphasis on the prospects for LHC results.

Title Novel theoretical constraints for color-octet scalar models Type Journal Article
Year 2019 Publication Chinese Physics C Abbreviated Journal Chin. Phys. C
Volume 43 Issue 9 Pages 093101 - 11pp
Keywords beyond the Standard Model; extension of Higgs sector; EW symmetry breaking
Abstract (up) We study the theoretical constraints on a model whose scalar sector contains one color octet and one or two color singlet SU(2)(L) doublets. To ensure unitarity of the theory, we constrain the parameters of the scalar potential for the first time at the next-to-leading order in perturbation theory. Moreover, we derive new conditions guaranteeing the stability of the potential. We employ the HEPfit package to extract viable parameter regions at the electroweak scale and test the stability of the renormalization group evolution up to the multi-TeV region. Furthermore, we set upper limits on the scalar mass splittings. All results are given for both cases with and without a second scalar color singlet.
