In contrast with the zero temperature case, where the polarizability is an analytical function, except for the two branch cuts which are responsible for Friedel oscillations, at finite temperature the corresponding function is non analytical, in spite of becoming continuous everywhere on the complex plane. This effect produces, as a result, the survival of the oscillatory behavior of the potential. We calculate the potential at large distances, and relate the calculation to the non-analytical properties of the polarizability.", optnote="WOS:000302225400070", optnote="exported from refbase (https://references.ific.uv.es/refbase/show.php?record=983), last updated on Tue, 08 May 2012 20:11:24 +0000", issn="2158-3226", doi="10.1063/1.3690964", opturl="http://arxiv.org/abs/1101.3862", opturl="https://doi.org/10.1063/1.3690964", archivePrefix="arXiv", eprint="1101.3862", language="English" }
