An excess of events is observed with respect to the background expectation, with a signal significance of 4.1 standard deviations. No significant structure is observed in the dimuon invariant mass distribution, in contrast with a previous result from the HyperCP experiment. The measured Sigma(+) -> p mu(+)mu(-) branching fraction is (2.2(-1.3)(+1.8)) x 10(-8), where statistical and systematic uncertainties are included, which is consistent with the standard model prediction.", optnote="WOS:000433915100005", optnote="exported from refbase (https://references.ific.uv.es/refbase/show.php?record=3616), last updated on Thu, 28 Jun 2018 14:21:19 +0000", issn="0031-9007", doi="10.1103/PhysRevLett.120.221803", opturl="http://arxiv.org/abs/1712.08606", opturl="https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.120.221803", archivePrefix="arXiv", eprint="1712.08606", language="English" }
