As a model we consider spontaneous breaking of global lepton number within the seesaw mechanism. We show that it provides an acceptable inflationary scenario consistent with the recent cosmic microwave background B-mode observation by the BICEP2 experiment. The scheme may also account for the baryon asymmetry of the Universe through leptogenesis for reasonable parameter choices.", optnote="WOS:000342148000004", optnote="exported from refbase (https://references.ific.uv.es/refbase/show.php?record=1949), last updated on Fri, 28 Nov 2014 14:36:26 +0000", issn="1550-7998", doi="10.1103/PhysRevD.90.055023", opturl="http://arxiv.org/abs/arXiv:1404.3198", opturl="https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.90.055023", archivePrefix="arXiv", eprint="arXiv:1404.3198", language="English" }
