We show that there is no representation assignment that yields a dimension-5 mass operator consistent with experiment. We then consider a type-I seesaw with three heavy right-handed neutrinos, explaining in detail why it fails, and allowing us to show that agreement with the present neutrino oscillation data can be recovered with the inclusion of dimension-3 heavy neutrino mass terms that break softly the A(4) symmetry.", optnote="WOS:000321737600009", optnote="exported from refbase (https://references.ific.uv.es/refbase/show.php?record=1499), last updated on Mon, 26 Aug 2013 10:09:22 +0000", issn="1550-7998", doi="10.1103/PhysRevD.88.015015", opturl="http://arxiv.org/abs/arXiv:1304.3468", opturl="https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.88.015015", archivePrefix="arXiv", eprint="arXiv:1304.3468", language="English" }
